Yuji Nishida in the interview he said: "We're creating... an environment where all the stress doesn't just fall on Yuki Ishikawa" (🥹) Question: it is true that there is no one else, besides Yuki Ishikawa, who can be the captain? Nishida: It's not like we say 'Ishikawa Yuki because he's the captain.' Rather, there's already a well-defined image of who Ishikawa Yuki is, and so the captain figure almost comes second. It's not that Yuki-san is simply at the top. We can't win unless we all fight on the same level, side by side. That's why I believe we're creating an environment where, in a positive sense, not all the burden and stress falls solely on Yuki-san.show more

Yuji Nishida on Yuki Ishikawa ✨️🤭😆💖 Yuji : He’s... the type who puts on the biggest act. Yuki : I don't put on an act. 🙂↔️ Yuji : If you watch him play volleyball, you’ll see exactly what I mean. Yuki : It’s just that I’m different when I’m playing volleyball compared to times like this. Yuji : Right. This is how he usually is. Yuki : It’s like my persona shifts a bit when it comes to volleyball. Yuji : Yes, he lets loose a bit 👌🏻 🤣😂 I mean he's not wrong tho, playing volleyball makes him ✨️Shine✨️ 😌💖show more

The way Yuki Ishikawa nods admired as Ran Takahashi... is laying out his thoughts on the phrase as a motto 🥺 Ran said: "Perhaps everyone's "beyond the best" is different. For us, it's Los Angeles. There might be the idea of taking the league title. But for every single player, is it about going to Los Angeles or deciding it here at the Asian Championships or doing well at the Asian Championships? There's a moment in the Tokyo Sketch where Jin... is just sitting, running his fingers over his phone. Not scrolling. Not looking for anything. No smile for the camera. No performance. Just... existing. And it hit me: we don't see that enough. Not from him, not from anyone. A person, fully relaxed, doing nothing, thinking nothing in particular. We all need moments like that. Where no one expects anything from us. Where we're allowed to just be. Maybe that's the real gift of watching him, not the big stages, but the small, quiet seconds in between. 🌙show more

I'm now convinced based on this video that the... second and third shots were just as justified as the first. We can see that the ICE agent is being hit by the car throughout the series of shots. The leftist argument that "we are seeing the front grill of the car, therefore he was not in front of the car" does not hold. A front bumper can absolutely side-bash you. The agent at this point does not have his eyes on the wheels, he does not know where they are headed. All he knows is that there is a car striking his body and he could get swallowed under the wheels, lose a leg, or die. There is no doubt that he was correct in his belief that he was in the process of being assaulted by a potentially deadly car attack.show more

A trillionaire tweeting out a 100% QAnon video should... be a bigger deal. “Promise me that we're gonna make it to the light So is it an awakening or is this a knife in the night? so come on brothers, sisters, stand up tall Because guess what? Where we go one, we go all” This refers to at least three QAnon slogans—“Dark to Light,” “Great Awakening,” “Where We Go One, We Go All.” Elon Musk is now Big Brother and Q rolled in one. I condemn the fake and frivolous complaint against Honourable... Chief Justice Sarfaraz Dogar, a fabricated story circulated on social media. If the judge is not giving you favour, the judge is not part of your lobby & monopoly it doesn't mean you go so low, we know the blue eye culture in Judiciary but we never complained because lawyers like me who are not part of any grouping, monopoly, lobby we respect every Judge because we believe on merit not favouritism, Imaan mazari made a derogatory video weeks before infront of High Court where she ridiculed the same Judge, when she appeared before CJ he mentioned the same that madam you will again make a video against me if i will not favour you in your case, how can a lawyer make a video of a Judge if she losses the case? How can a female lawyer be harassed in front of her husband where cameras are fixed in the courtroom. There are 500 female lawyers practising in Islamabad. No one has ever faced harassment in courts,so why is she harassed? Such baseless allegations just to get famous are really harming the reputation of all female lawyers. We know who is giving her such instructions just to harm the dignity and reputation of CJ.show more

We were taught the derivative as a formula to... memorise. A definition to recite. A rule to apply. Something that "gives you the slope." But nobody told us what the formula was actually saying. Every symbol is a sentence. Every fraction is a question. Every limit is a story about getting closer and closer to something you can never quite touch. The top of the fraction? That's a change. A difference. A before and after. The bottom? That's how long you waited to see it. The limit? That's you, zooming in, refusing to settle for an approximation - chasing the truth all the way down to an interval so small it almost disappears. Put it all together, and you get the most honest question in calculus: How fast is something changing - right now, in this exact instant? Not on average. Not over a minute. Not eventually. Right now. That's it. That's the derivative. It's not a trick. It's not a rule. It's a beautifully precise way of asking a very human question: what's happening, in this moment? We spent years solving these. Maybe it's time we actually understood them.show more

🇸🇾 Why did Russia or Iran not help Assad?... Assad’s allies did not help, because the army and people of Syria were not fighting. There was essentially not a single big battle, but like in the video Syrian soldiers just walked away. So the allies said: “Why should we fight, if they don’t fight?” - 🇷🇺 Russian did couple of bombing runs in the the beginning, but stopped once its saw that the Syrian government is not resisting - 🇮🇷 Iran discussed deployment of troops, but in the same way abandoned the idea - 🇱🇧 Hezbollah has not send troops, all claims were fake - 🇮🇶 All the militias that were on the way stopped at the border and the leaders announced that they will not intervene -> Nobody should intervene if there is no war! Essentially there was no fight, just rebels driving to Damascus and the army surrendering. In that sense, that was correct not to intervene in Syria. Because the people did not wanted to fight, but to remove Assad. I hope the people of Syria made the right choice, congrats.show more

Where Should I Stand on an Escalator? We Indians... learn and adapt quickly, especially when someone explains the reasoning behind rules. With that in mind, we're starting a new series on basic etiquette in public space. Today, let’s talk about escalator etiquette. While you can technically stand anywhere—left, right, or centre—standing on one side and leaving the other side free for those who wish to walk is considered proper etiquette. In India, since we drive on the left, it’s best to stand on the left side of the escalator and leave the right side clear for people in a hurry. This practice is followed in many countries and makes movement smoother for everyone. This might help someone catch a train, which he would have missed waiting on the escalator. If you're in a country where driving is on the right, simply switch sides: stand on the right and leave the left side clear. Small changes like this make a big difference in creating a more considerate public space.show more

The World Cup ends today. One game left. By... tomorrow most of you visitors will be packing up, heading to the airport, going home. So before you go, let me say the thing I actually want to say. A few weeks ago I wrote a silly post about all the things you were discovering here. Free refills. Free water. Ice like civilized people. Chips and salsa before you even order. Air conditioning that is a fact and not a moral debate. Drive-throughs. Ranch by the gallon. The Germans standing in the HEB meat aisle in reverent silence, finally understanding why we do not have trains. Buc-ee’s, for which there are still no words. It blew up, because it was true, and because you were so delightfully stunned by all of it. Even the Wall Street Journal caught on. Their headline this week: how the US lost the World Cup and won over the world. We did not lift the trophy. But apparently we lifted something else. We even learned a few things about ourselves along the way. Like the fact that Elon Musk, the single richest man on the planet, shops at HEB. Just rolls in and queues up for fresh tortillas with everybody else. The man could buy the tortilla company, the state it is in, and the moon it sits under, and instead he is standing in line at the hot-tortilla counter like the rest of us, because that is where the good ones are. Only in America is the wealthiest human alive elbow to elbow with a mom of four at the salsa bar. That is the whole country in one aisle. And here is the part I want every one of you to hear on your way out the door. None of it was a show. We did not roll all this out because you were coming. The ice was always there. The refills were always free. The grocery stores were always the size of aircraft hangars at ten on a Tuesday. The stranger who adopted your whole section, the guy who gave you a ride, the waitress who remembered your order, the family that invited you to the cookout, that is not World Cup America. That is just America. That is Tuesday. We are exactly like this when nobody is visiting. Loud, generous, ridiculous, overfed, and genuinely thrilled you came. We will still be exactly like this tomorrow when the stands are empty and the flags come down. So thank you. To everyone who came, who sang in our streets, who cleaned our stadiums, who turned our cities orange and filled our bars and taught us your chants. You were wonderful guests, and you made a country that just turned 250 feel young and seen and loved. And to everyone who could not make it this time, the door does not close today. We meant all of it. Come whenever. The porch light stays on, the fridge stays full, and there is always room for one more at the table. You found out who we are these last few weeks. Good news. We are like this all the time. Safe travels home. Y’all come back now, you hear. 🦋show more

"It's not left vs right, it's all of us... vs the 1%!" No, it's left vs. right, BECAUSE of the 1%. The left has no theory of mind for the 3rd world. They think that illiterate savages are going to come here on a plane and magic-poof into baseball-pie american heroes overnight. The left thinks: "anyone who is a good guy thinks like me, and anyone who doesn't think like me is a bad guy." Then, they assume the best of the 3rd world masses and the worst of their own countrymen. After all, "they don't think like me, so they must be BAD! And brown people are ALWAYS GOOD, so they MUST think like me!" Leftists are lost, confused children who can never figure out how real life works. Even as their precious, diverse allies attack them in the streets, they keep saying: "Stop! We're on the same side! Against the NAZIS!" You don't get to pick which side you're on, bruv. Your enemies pick for you. Your skin is your side.show more

They started with 50. Now they say they’re 18,000... In 1996 there were fewer than 50 of them. Today, according to the organizers, up to 18,000 walked through Copenhagen. From Dronning Louises Bro to the Imam Ali Mosque. Look at the curve. This is how it happens. First a handful. Then a few hundred. Then it fills a bridge, a district, a capital. A little at a time, until it is no longer a little. And let me be fair, because fairness is the point. There is nothing strange about them holding this mourning procession. They have done it as part of their faith for more than a thousand years. It is theirs, and they believe in it. There is nothing strange about that at all. What should stop us is the other half. There is nothing strange about Europe allowing it either, and that is exactly the problem. Europe allows it because Europe has forgotten who it is. A people that remembers what it stands for does not need to ban anything, it simply knows where its own line runs. We have lost that. And so the issue was never them. The issue is us. Now look at what actually moved through the streets. Men in front. Women in the second row. That is not a detail, that is the whole point. It is a view of women set into a system and marched out into the public square, in a city where generations fought for women and men to stand as equals. The real question is not whether people may believe what they want. They may. The question is why our capital should cultivate a political law-religion that commemorates a 7th-century power struggle by dividing people by sex on Nørrebrogade. One of the organizers is the Imam Ali Mosque, repeatedly described as the Iranian regime’s extended arm in Denmark. The same regime that hangs women and young men from cranes. We are not importing culture. We are importing a system. And we let it grow, not because they are strong, but because we forgot why we were. First a little. Then a lot. Then too late.show more
