Ciarán (fka Bearface) has released his debut solo single... and music video, "K-Bar.” The release marks his first new music since BROCKHAMPTON disbanded in 2022. The video was directed by Ciarán himself and Caroline Waxse. According to a press release, stepping away from the Bearface name gave Ciarán room to explore, and he took his time getting here. Killed by the Gardai 14 year old Brian Rossiter.... The death of Brian Rossiter occurred at Cork University Hospital in Cork, Ireland, on 14 September 2002, as a result of head injuries he had sustained several days earlier. Fourteen-year-old Brian Rossiter had been arrested for a public order offence on the night of 10/11 September 2002, falling into a coma whilst in custody at Clonmel garda station. Prior to his arrest, Rossiter had been assaulted by Noel Hannigan, who was later found guilty of this offence and sentenced to two and a half years imprisonment. However, the case was the focus of much controversy and media speculation within Ireland, owing to concerns as to whether the injuries that caused Rossiter's death occurred, not as a result of Hannigan's assault, but while he was in custody. Died …..14 September 2002 (aged 14) Cork, Ireland Cause of death……blunt force trauma to the head; open verdict Body discovered….Clonmel garda station Rossiter's father took High Court action against the gardaí and called for CCTV cameras to be installed in all garda stations around Ireland, in every area of the station. An inquest into the death returned an open verdict and led to damages being paid to the boy's family €250,000 it just goes to show what value the Irish government puts on a Irish child. Family cannot speak about the case due to the Irish government making them sign a NDA “nondisclosure agreement” this was one appalling case of cold blooded murder by the Gardai. Here, with Workman on second, Zach McKinstry hits a fly to left that lands, and Workman is thrown out 7-5 at third base. This was ruled a single, and the question has been asked as to why. First, this is the correct scoring, as this is a single. If this were a ground ball to short, and the runner is out 6-5 at third on a ball that would have otherwise been a hit, this would have been a fielder's choice, and the difference is in the wording on rule 9.05(b)(3), which says that you do not score a hit when a: (3) pitcher, the catcher or any infielder handles a batted ball and puts out a preceding runner who is attempting to advance one base or to return to his original base, or would have put out such runner with ordinary effort except for a fielding error. The Official Scorer shall charge the batter with a time at bat but no hit; The key is in the McKinstry play, the ball is handled by an outfielder, and not the pitcher, catcher, or any infielder. Another one of those fun weird scoring rules that is great to have in your back pocket for when it comes up.show more

Notably, this specific chassis was the same car that Miki Biasion had driven in the 1985 Sanremo Rally. Alamäki used the car to great effect in the European Rallycross Championship (ERC), where he finished as the runner-up in the standings for the 1987 season (the title was won by Seppo Niittymäki in a Peugeot 205 T16). Legacy: The car became a legendary piece of motorsport history. After its competitive days, it was eventually acquired by Finnish rally icon Juha Kankkunen, who restored it to its original Group B rally configuration and the iconic "Martini" livery it wore during its time with Biasion. It was January... 2014 when Editor Neil Thompson and I flew to New York for inspiration to create a new breakfast format for ITV we returned full of ideas. Within weeks we were working with set designer Jim Fenhagen Jack Morton, who won the pitch by placing the desk in the centre of the studio really maximising the space. Rob May & Simon Hill Sitting Duck composed the music, my brief was to create a ‘legacy theme’ something that I wanted to hear on air 10 years later…they smashed it! ITVcreative brought my vision of flying up to The London Studios tower to life, it was no Rockerfella Plaza but I still loved it! With an outstanding on air launch team Susanna Reid Ben Shephard Charlotte Hawkins Sean Fletcher and a brilliant crew backing us up it came to life at 0600 on Monday 28th April 2014 and I was proud to serve as Series Director for just under 8 years. I have not seen enough about the decision from... Mike Vrabel and Tim Kelly to go for 2 down by 8 last night. Here’s why I loved it: 1) NFL teams this season have been successful on 55% of two-point conversion attempts. The odds were in the Titans’ favor. 2) Will Levis was dealing in the 2nd half. 3) Titans still had all three timeouts and the two-minute warning. 4) Miami struggled to move the ball on offense all night. Their three scoring drives went for 12, 7, and 59 yards. 5) If successful on the two-point conversion, a stop on defense and a TD wins the game. If unsuccessful, you can still send it to OT. 6) Titans offense marched down the field, scored the TD to make it a one possession game and essentially told Miami, “we are going for two because we know you cannot stop us right now.” The odds are in your favor. It’s a good mathematical decision. You want to psych out an opposing offense? Give them the ball knowing they need to run the clock out, or you are going to have a chance to WIN the game, not send it to overtime. They saw what your offense just did to their defense. They saw your QB on the sideline screaming and hyping everyone up. Cutting the lead to six put WAY more pressure on the Dolphins offense. You want to hype up your defense? Put them back on the field knowing your offense just did their job. Put them back on the field knowing a stop and a TD wins it. At that point, they aren’t in the mindset of “we need a stop to have a chance to go to OT.” They are thinking, “let’s go out here, get a stop, and give our offense a chance to WIN.” There’s a fundamental difference in playing to WIN and playing NOT to LOSE. This was a decision by a coaching staff that was playing to WIN. Brilliant game by Vrabel and Kelly. Brilliant execution late in the game by the offense and the defense. This runner at first was caught in a pick... off move by the pitcher. Pitcher throws to first and the first baseman fires to second and the umpire calls him out. He looked safe on the play. However, the umpire admits he was safe but said he called him out because the other team was losing 10-0 in the first inning. He said “he was so safe but I just gave it to them.” Basically saying we gotta’ get the game moving right? Fellow umpires, some coaches and parents said they respect the call and why. But many people said you are cheating that one runner by calling him out. They said no matter the score you have to have integrity even if it is 20-0. They said this is why kids grow up disliking umpires and why parents act the way they do. Tough one- I actually understand where he is coming from but if that were your kid, would you want him called out? I say call the game the right way 100% and let it play out the way it is supposed to. How is the other team supposed to get better if you are giving them calls? Do you agree with the umpire and why he did it? Or, are you totally against that and that should never happen?show more

SUV goes flying over a Michigan highway, barely missing... a driver. I've always wondered what it would look like for a car to jump off one of these hills. The clip was originally posted to Reddit by a user named StormCamperTTV who didn't provide context. A different user however named GoldenGarbear said they witnessed the aftermath of the crash. "I couldn't see all of it but I was getting off at that exit and you could see the tracks in the grass going up the hill and the guard rail was pretty mangled." "The police had also blocked off the on-ramps, and there were a bunch of emergency vehicles around." In an edit, the user said the following: "I just spoke with the officer at the school I work at, and apparently, the lady was conscious and responsive.
