#MudslideReliefOperations #HADR Update: 📍 Landslide at Dharali, Uttarakhand 05 August 2025 A landslide struck near Dharali village, approximately 4 km from the Indian Army Camp at Harshil, at around 1:45 PM today. Responding with urgency, the #IndianArmy swiftly mobilised 150 personnel, who reached the site within 10 minutes and immediately launched rescue operations. So far, more than 20 civilians have been safely evacuated. The injured are receiving timely and effective medical attention at the Indian Army's medical facility in Harshil. Search and rescue operations are ongoing, with all available resources deployed to locate and assist any remaining stranded individuals. Inputs from the CO have been received reassuring the citizens of Army’s continued efforts to rescue all survivors. Additional Army columns along with Army tracker dogs, drones, logistic drones, earthmoving equipment, etc have been moved ahead to supplement the resources at Harsil to hasten the efforts. Army and Airforce helicopters for essential supplies, medicines and evacuation of the marooned are also being coordinated.
