Well if you export as fbx they don't, you have to redo them in unity 😔 I wish fbx would upgrade to support bone constraints lol

Hmmm...am I guessing the first bone in each skirt "strand" has a magica bone script on it and also has a rotation constraint on it? This is super useful but how it is exactly one is not entirely clear to me tbh

yes exacly! if you slow down the video at the beggining i show the magica cloth script and contraint script settings, as the leg move the front skirt parts go up, the back skirt stays in place!

The 3D learning experience is thinking an idea I came up with is cool and spent hours implementing it to find out that it only works for a very specific situation aka it’s useless. HAHA Basically I rigged the collar with their own bones so they don’t deform weirdly with the arm/shoulder movement then realise the sleeve clips into the collar on Z rotation. Decided to try applying the twist bone logic of bone constraints (copy rotation) and was like wow, it kinda works to move the collar away when the arm rotates to the front! But reality is that it just looks nice on T-pose and the “effect” is weird when the arms are posed downwards (which would be the default state of the model in its intended use)… And also the sleeve will still clip into the collar at a more extreme rotation anyway so I guess it was a fruitless effort in the end hahaha It did help me get more comfortable with the idea of applying bone constraints for other uses tho so that’s a plus! ദ്ദി(•⥿•)ว✨ In the end I’ll probably have colliders on the sleeve to prevent clipping with the collar as much as possible but I think a big degree of clipping is still inevitable considering the range of movement when the model is used for 3D vtubing 🤔

CSS Trick 🫠 You can create gooey effects with filter using CSS or SVG if you want color 🎨 .blobs { filter: blur(20px) contrast(30); } .blobs { filter: url(#goo); } The trick is to blur the thing, then cut the blur off with contrast. You can make some cool effects with it ✨ The CSS approach is basic and limits you to black and white. You need to blur the subject and then use contrast to lessen the blur. .blobs { filter: blur(20px) contrast(30); } The SVG approach gives you a lot more freedom. That looks like a lot 😬 What the filter does is take some source and pipe it through different effects. At a high level, you're doing this: 1. Blur the subject with standard deviation "stdDeviation" 2. Mess with the alpha channel values inside feColorMatrix to get the contrast 3. Composite the effects Good thing with SVG filters is you can rinse and repeat and use them on other things 🤙 Have a play with the demo and check out the DevTools where you can see the effects of using different values CodePen.IO link below! 👇

Reminder: your goal with making any content is to maximize loudness. Be as loud as possible without clipping. Do not set a limiter at -6 for your mic, because you don’t clip until you surpass 0. Set your limiter to -1. Yellow is not bad Red is not bad Actually clipping, is. Your compressor should handle the majority of your loudest parts and keep you away from -1db, and the limiter is your fail safe to prevent clipping. Setting a limiter at -6 means the only audio you allowed to get that loud, your microphone, will be impacted by that. Not good. More detail:

Did you know that in Blender you can easily make pillows with the 'Cloth' modifier? ✨ 1. Select the object that's gonna be beneath your pillow 2. Press 'Collision' on the physics tab 3. Add a cube and add some loops to it with Ctrl+R 4. Press 'Cloth' on the physics tab 5. Enable 'Pressure' and set the custom target volume to 1. You can tweak this value depending on how big your pillow is 6. Decrease the collision distance in 'Object Collisions' 7. Press space to play the animation 8. Press Ctrl+3 to add a subdiv modifier with 3 levels to make it look smoother! You can choose a frame that you like and apply the 'Cloth' modifier to make it into a static mesh by going to the Modifiers tab, hovering over the 'Cloth' Modifier and pressing Ctrl+A! You don't need Vbridger(of course, Vbridger helps a lot!!! but this is a tip for those who don't have Vbridger) Go to the Model setting, then you see "Physics Strength" ⭐️This is where you can change the strength of parts. I included the example of the leg part. Also, you can make your own physic settings below! Just click "+" to add! Attention! All the riggers have different ways of rigging so you might need to ask them to make the different parameters so that you can change the settings😖 Also riggers could use their languages for them to understand and to rig better... I also have issues with that... so either you request a rigger to help or... well you should keep playing with your model🤡and that's what I did cuz I am... too shy to ask anything... Hope this was helpful to some vtubers🩷 #Vtubers
