If the NFA registry no longer records the payment of a tax on $0 taxed firearms, then it exists solely to register the firearms themselves. This directly conflicts with the Firearm Owners’ Protection Act. END NFA REGISTRATION.

Senator Mike Lee is correct: removing the $200 tax on silencers and SBRs was a step forward, but the burdensome NFA registration process still violates the 2A. Since they would still require a background check outside the NFA, registration should be eliminated.

Rep Ben Cline asks AG Pam Bondi why they're STILL enforcing a registration requirement, and the felony criminal penalties that come with it, for NFA items despite the "tax" being removed as of January 1st this year. She responds that it's "pending litigation" which is technically true. However, it's only true because her DOJ hasn't dropped their support of it in court. If they did then the registration and the "pending litigation" would just go away. It really is that simple... #NFA #PamBondi #AG #DOW #silencer #SBR #suppressors #OSHA #safety

DOJ's AAG Harmeet Dhillon released this video on the 2nd Amendment less than two months ago. Earlier this week they made one of the, if not the, most aggressive cases ever in court *IN FAVOR* of keeping SBRs/SBSs/suppressors/etc... on the NFA despite the tax being removed by congress (the NFA is a tax, so if there's no tax then...) earlier this year. This video and that legal position are incongruent. #2nd #2a #WTF #fail #CivilRights

A federal judge just ruled that because Congress zeroed out the NFA tax in the Big Beautiful Bill, the federal registration and approval process for suppressors and other NFA items no longer has a legal basis. No more tax stamp. No more waiting on ATF approval for transfers. Dealers are still waiting on clear guidance, and the government has time to appeal, but the principle is clear: When the tax goes away, the regulatory scheme that depended on it collapses. Gun owners just got a major victory.

Rep Clyde is spot on here 🇺🇸 The DOJ should change their current interpretation of the NFA and remove SBRs, suppressors, SBSs, etc... from the NFA for the reasons stated in this video as well as the fact that "shall not be infringed" means shall not be infringed. #CivilRights #2nd #2a #NFA #SBR
