Most people are doing everything to lose fat. But their biology is working against them. Here are 9 underrated ways to reprogram your body for fat loss, energy, and peak performance: 🧵

1. Rewire your brain’s control system Your brain runs on 2 key messengers: GABA (the brake) & Glutamate (the gas). When balanced, they improve mood, sleep, and focus. When imbalanced, they lead to anxiety, brain fog, and poor energy.

2. Restore the GABA/Glutamate balance You can optimize this system by: • Reducing blue light at night • Using magnesium, NAC, L-theanine, lemon balm • Avoiding excess caffeine, nicotine, grains, and artificial sweeteners Balance the brain, and the body follows.

3. Boost your mitochondrial power 90% of your body’s energy is made in the mitochondria. When they're sluggish, your metabolism slows. You feel tired, gain fat, and lose drive. Healthy mitochondria = fat-burning, energy, and better performance.

4. Push your body to peak heart rate Move intensely at least 2x per week. Short bursts of high effort improve cardiovascular health and metabolic output. Try: • HIIT • Sprinting • Circuit training • Sports Intensity drives transformation.

5. Train your metabolism like a muscle Metabolism is flexible—it adapts to your habits. It responds to movement, sleep, stress, and food. The goal isn’t to “speed it up,” It’s to make it efficient. You can teach your body to burn more fat at rest.

6. Optimize your hormonal profile Hormones control: • Fat loss • Blood sugar • Energy • Muscle growth Get them out of sync, and fat loss becomes impossible. Dial them in—and your body starts working with you, not against you.

7. Lift weights 3x per week Strength training builds lean mass, improves insulin sensitivity, and increases resting metabolic rate. Muscle is your metabolic armor. No resistance training = limited fat loss. Get under the bar, consistently.

High dose vitamin D supplementation might be doing more harm than good. Stephanie Seneff, MIT researcher: Vitamin D is a signalling molecule, not a nutrient to megadose. It mobilizes calcium — but doesn't control where calcium goes. High dose vitamin D drives calcium into the arteries, leaching it from bones. A 3-year study comparing 400 IU/day, 4,000 IU/day and 10,000 IU/day found the highest dose group had statistically significantly worse bone mineral density. A 2006 study found that calcitriol supplementation (the active form of vitamin D) in young adults with kidney disease increased artery calcification — because calcitriol is taken up directly by cells in the artery wall. Artery calcification is one of the strongest risk factors for cardiovascular disease. An Indian study compared vitamin D supplementation to 20 minutes of daily sunlight in 100 men with severe deficiency. Remarkably — the supplement group had a larger increase in serum vitamin D than the sunlight group. Yet opposite effects on cholesterol: Sunlight group — cholesterol dropped. Supplement group — cholesterol increased. Why? Sunlight and vitamin D supplements take completely different routes through your body. Vitamin D supplements are fat-soluble. The liver has to synthesize cholesterol and release LDL particles just to transport them through the blood. Sunlight stimulates cholesterol sulfate synthesis directly in the skin. The sulfate component makes the molecule water-soluble — transported freely in the blood without being packaged inside an LDL particle. Because cholesterol sulfate is both water-soluble and fat-soluble, it can transfer from skin cell membranes to HDL particles or red blood cells and deliver cholesterol directly to tissues that need it. No LDL carrier required. When you get vitamin D from a supplement instead of the sun, you don't get the simultaneous increase in cholesterol sulfate. The pill doesn't just fail to replicate sunlight. It uses a completely different biological pathway. Seneff: "Vitamin D wants to be subtle. Get out in the sun." "People answer: oh yeah I know, vitamin D is important." "No. Not vitamin D. The sun.” Vitamin D is a proxy for sunlight exposure. The proxy isn't the mechanism.

Retatrutide forever, watch this (Spoiler alert science agrees) Here’s everything you need (it’s free!) Think of it like this… Biology is a building… Drugs are trying to fix one room Retatrutide handles everything… At the same time Most doctors and Instaexperts talk about it without actually understanding biology or what they're doing… 2023 Cell Metabolism proved retatrutide wasn’t just about weight loss… it rewires how cells process energy at the mitochondrial level 2021 Aging Cell showed glucagon signaling cranks up autophagy specifically in neurons and hepatocytes… brain cells and liver cells The cells that matter most for longevity 2023 Nature Metabolism proved weekly pulsatile signaling activates more downstream pathways than multiple weekly signaling Why? Because cells have memory Receptor sensitivity actually increases if you give the signal, then let it recover then signal again So weekly 0.1 mg? Actually more effective than microdosing 2-3x a week And here's the best part… At 0.1 mg weekly… no weight loss unless you have significant metabolic dysfunction but cells will upgrade mitochondria increase autophagy and reduce systemic inflammation Biology is aging more slowly FYI 2024 Nature Communications… they applied retatrutide to cancer cells and the cancer cells died Why? Because cancer cells are metabolically distinct from normal cells They rely on a different energy pathway the Warburg effect and bypass normal mitochondrial ATP production It’s a cancer predator, period The 2025 follow-up study showed existing tumors exposed to retatrutide had 67 % tumor shrinkage You're making biology hostile to cancer at the cellular level Do what you want to do… I’m here to help you Because I actually care Never Miss Dr Trevor Bachmeyer The Spartan

"If Your Doctor Tells You To Avoid Red Meat, Fire Them Immediately!" Justine Stenger This Advice Is Biochemically Ignorant. Your Body Doesn't Get High Cholesterol From Eating Cholesterol. If Your Doctor Thinks Cholesterol Is The Enemy, They Do Not Understand Human Physiology. If your doctor tells you to cut red meat because your cholesterol is high, they’re decades behind the science. Cholesterol isn’t the villain—it’s a quantum molecule essential for cell membrane integrity, hormone production & mitochondrial function. Your liver makes 80% of your cholesterol based on energy demand, circadian rhythms & metabolic signals—not because you ate a steak. What actually raises cholesterol? Mitochondrial dysfunction, insulin resistance, chronic inflammation & artificial blue light exposure. When mitochondria can’t efficiently produce energy, the body increases cholesterol to stabilize membranes & improve electron flow. Red meat doesn’t clog arteries—it provides the nutrients (carnitine, CoQ10, phospholipids, DHA) that optimize lipid metabolism & mitochondrial health. The real culprits behind oxidized LDL & heart disease? Industrial seed oils, refined carbs, sugar, insulin resistance, circadian disruption & EMFs—not ancestral, nutrient-dense foods. If your doctor still pushes the outdated, debunked “cholesterol-heart disease” myth, they don’t understand quantum biology or human physiology. Ruminant Red Meat Is The Ultimate Anti-Inflammatory Superfood... It's The Most Nutrient Dense Food On The Planet... in the most bioavailable form with its nutrients provided in the perfect ratios: Calcium, Copper, Heme Iron, Magnesium, Phosphorus, Potassium, Selenium, Iodine, Zinc, Choline, Vitamin A, Thiamin, Riboflavin, Niacin, B6, B12, Folate, Vitamin C, Vitamin D, Vitamin E, Vitamin K, Omega 3 (DHA & EPA) & Pantothenic Acid. Crucial compounds found ONLY in animal products: Carnitine: facilitates the transport of fatty acids into the mitochondria, where they are converted into energy. Positive effects on heart health, exercise recovery & cognitive function. Creatine: vital for boosting brain function, fighting neurological disease & accelerating muscle growth. Carnosine: improves muscle function, reduces oxidative stress, enhances cognitive function & supports skin health. Taurine: plays a vital role in eye, brain, heart & metabolic health. 👇Red Meat Does Not Cause Inflammation👇 👇Saturated Animal Fat Is Good For You👇 👇Red Meat Supports Adverse Event Free Nutrition👇 Speaker: Justine Stenger, Mitochondrial Expert

Iodine and boron are not just “thyroid nutrients.” They are cellular binders, mineral transporters, and detox activators and when they’re low, everything breaks down and your body can’t produce glutathione and your busy is not able to detox . Here’s what they actually do 👇 🧬 IODINE • Required to produce T4 thyroid hormone • Forms iodolipids that regulate abnormal cell growth • Penetrates tissues where pharmaceuticals can’t reach • Displaces fluoride, bromide, chlorine from cells • Supports immune surveillance + cellular cleanup • Critical for breast, ovarian, prostate, and brain tissue 🧲 BORON • Activates how iodine, magnesium, and vitamin D work inside the cell • Transports minerals into cells (not just floating in blood) • Acts as a gentle daily binder for toxins + inflammatory byproducts • Regulates estrogen, testosterone, insulin, and thyroid sensitivity • Supports detox enzymes the liver cannot run alone • Reduces inflammation during detox so people don’t crash When iodine or boron are low: • Thyroid hormones don’t convert properly • Detox mobilizes toxins but can’t bind or clear them • Hormones misfire • Inflammation rises • People feel WORSE instead of better That’s why iodine alone fails for so many people. You can use liquid boron + iodine together for: ✔️ Thyroid support ✔️ Gentle daily detox ✔️ Hormone balance ✔️ Mineral repletion ✔️ Cellular protection ✔️ Long-term detox safety (including sensitive bodies) This isn’t aggressive detox. This is foundational cellular repair. Our Intra-Cellular Superfoods have all the minerals your body needs or you can take specific supplements. Just be sure they are not synthetic.

Everyone thinks losing weight is just about eating less. But most people: - Starve themselves - Kill their metabolism... And don´t even lose weight anyway. So here are 10 metabolism cheat codes to melt stubborn fat (without eating less): 🧵 1. Do NOT go Vegan. The vegan diet completely lacks 12 different nutrients that only exist in animal-based foods. These nutrients are vital for your metabolism and hormones. Steak and eggs are two of the best foods in the world for metabolism, weight loss and health. 2. Resistance train Muscle is the #1 fat-burning organ. It burns calories 24/7, even while you sleep. - Go close to failure - Train 3 hours a week - Focus on compound exercises 3. Eat more protein. You burn off 20-30% of the calories you get from protein just by digesting it. It also lowers hunger and helps maintain and build muscle to burn even more calories too. Eat 1g per lb of bodyweight everyday. 4. Don´t cut out carbs too much. Low-carb = lower thyroid and testosterone. You´ll also feel more sluggish which reduces your calorie-burn from NEAT. Eat as much fruit as you want and potatoes instead of bread and pasta. 5. Improve your sleep. Poor sleep crushes your metabolism. Think about how more physically tired you feel after a night of bad sleep. Don´t eat late in the evening, keep your bedroom cooler and supplement magnesium glycinate. 6. Cold exposure. It´s not a fad - it´s scientifically proven. It boosts your metabolism and activates brown fat oxidation. All you need to get the benefits is 2-minute cold showers 7. Manage stress. High cortisol slows your metabolism and makes your body want to hold onto fat. The best way to reduce stress? Improve your physical health. Healthy diet. Exercise. Better sleep. 8. Fuel your thyroid. It´s the organ that literally runs your metabolism but nobody thinks about it. Even worse? Very low-calorie diets actually slow it down making it even harder to lose fat. Make sure you: - Get enough iodine & selenium - Improve your sleep & manage stress. 9. Eat as much fruit as you want. Certain influencers will claim that fruit is bad due to the sugar... As if people are overweight due to eating a lot of fruit... But nobody got fat from fruit. It was from a ton of calories from processed junk and a lack of exercise. Fruit is still low in calories as it´s mostly water and the sugar and vitamins help keep you healthy and your metabolism firing. The best fruits for metabolism and weight loss are berries and watermelon. The Bottom Line: The best way to lose weight is NOT eating way less. It´s boosting your metabolism so you can eat enough and still lose weight. Imagine how easy it would be to lose weight if you could eat a lot and not be too hungry? If you liked this post: 1. Heart disease is the number 1 cause of death. Mainstream advice like cutting fat, red meat and taking statins isn’t working... They don’t fix the real causes of heart disease. Here are the top 6 science-backed supplements to reduce your risk of heart disease (bookmark this):👇 1. Nattokinase. This enzyme helps dissolve blood clots and plaque by breaking down fibrin. There aren't even meds that can reverse plaque buildup. Take 10,000 FU every day. 2. Magnesium glycinate. Magnesium relaxes blood vessel walls, allowing them to dilate and improve blood flow. It also reduces blood pressure and calms your nervous system. But most Americans are deficient in it. Take 400-500mg before bed. 3. Fish oil (Omega-3s). They reduce inflammation that damages your arteries and lower triglycerices. They can even lower blood pressure by improving arterial elasticity. Take 2-3g of combined EPA/DHA daily. 4. CoQ10. Your heart beats 100,000 times per day and requires massive amounts of energy. CoQ10 fuels your cardiac muscle cells, protects against oxidative damage and improves endothelial function. Your levels naturally drop with age. Take 200-300mg every day. 5. Vitamin D3. Vitamin D deficiency stiffens arteries and impairs endothelial function. Most Americans are deficient yet the healthcare system completely ignores it. Take 5,000-10,000 IUs daily with a meal containing fat and get more sunlight. Aim for blood levels of 50-70 ng/mL. 6. Vitamin K2. It activates a protein called MGP that keeps calcium out of your arteries where it becomes plaque and sends it to your bones. Take 100-200mcg of the MK-7 form every day. You can also get some in organ meats, red meat and aged cheeses. Lifestyle changes with your: - Nutrition - Exercise - Sleep & stress levels Are what's most important to reduce your risk of heart disease but these supplements significantly help. Your body runs a nightly deuterium depletion cycle during sleep. Most people are switching it off without knowing it. During sleep, your body shifts toward fat oxidation, activates peroxisomes, and produces deuterium-depleted metabolic water. Sleep is the one time your body is forced to fast. Dr. Laszlo Boros — Hungarian medical biochemist, retired professor at UCLA School of Medicine, author of 100+ peer-reviewed papers, and one of the world's leading deuterium researchers — puts it simply on the Sleep Is A Skill podcast: "When you sleep, you can do this simply because you don't walk through the freezer — unless you do sleepwalking. What you do is leave your body in a fasting state, where you don't eat for 6 or 8 hours, and you get into a metabolic state called burning fat or metabolic ketosis. After 2 or 3 hours, glucose and carbohydrates are limited — and then you have to burn fat to produce energy and heat during sleep." That's when the real work begins. REM activity and muscle movement burn through glucose and glycogen reserves. Once glucose availability falls, metabolism shifts toward fat oxidation. Breathing slows to 6-8 inhalations per minute — roughly half the daytime rate. Hemoglobin-delivered oxygen falls. The body increasingly relies on dissolved oxygen circulating in the blood — a small but sufficient supply that doesn't require active breathing to access. But something prepares the body for this transition before sleep even begins. Yawning. According to Boros, yawning is a biological preparation mechanism. A yawn is a held inhalation — it pressurizes the chest cavity, squeezing more dissolved oxygen into the blood like pressurizing a soda bottle. This dissolved oxygen is what peroxisomes need to burn fat. But peroxisomes only activate once glucose is gone. Yawning prepares the oxygen supply. Fat must be the available fuel. Boros: "Sleep starts with yawning." Peroxisomes are small organelles that can only burn fat. They cannot utilize carbohydrates. They cannot utilize amino acids. They use dissolved O₂ directly. They produce hydrogen peroxide (H₂O₂) from fat. This hydrogen peroxide is inherently low in deuterium because it comes from fat. Catalase — the fastest enzymatic reaction in biological systems — then converts that hydrogen peroxide into metabolic water while recycling oxygen in the process. The result is fresh deuterium-depleted metabolic water. Boros calls sleep a metabolic miracle. Every night your body activates pathways that burn fat, deplete deuterium, and preserve the integrity of the mitochondrial nanomotors — all without requiring food intake. But here is the twist: If you eat too close to bed — or wake up and eat during the night — glucose remains available for longer. The transition into fat oxidation is delayed. The peroxisomal cycle starts later. Every hour of delayed ketosis is an hour of missed nocturnal deuterium depletion. This is not theoretical. Boros works with military personnel and emergency crews in Europe and the United States on exactly this problem. Emergency workers return from a call, eat under stress, then try to sleep. Glucose reloads. The peroxisomal cycle never fully activates. Deuterium accumulates. Sleep quality degrades. This is one of the reasons emergency workers retire early. Their disrupted sleep and stress-eating patterns create chronic metabolic confusion — the body never gets the nightly deuterium cleanup it evolved to run. The opposite is also true. According to Boros, people following ketogenic diets often report needing one to two fewer hours of sleep while waking up more rested. Boros explains why: Less deuterium accumulates during the day. The nocturnal depletion cycle runs more efficiently during the night. The metabolic cleanup process finishes faster. The required sleep duration is shorter. This is one reason I stop eating at least 3 hours before bed. And it is one reason I treat sleep consistency as a non-negotiable. I am in bed before 10pm. Usually closer to 9:30pm. When I yawn 3 times in a row, I know it’s time.

Morning Sunlight Into Your Eyes Is Absolutely Vital For Mental & Physical Health. Dr Jeremy London, Heart Surgeon 3 Reasons Why Gazing Into The Morning Sun Promotes Life In Body, Mind & Spirit. #1 : Red & Infrared Light At Sunrise: This very specific wavelength stimulates brain Mitochondria to produce more ATP providing clear sharp thinking. This not only benefits overall health but is a crucial healing modality for impaired cognitive function after a TBI traumatic brain injury or neurological diagnosis such as Alzheimer's & Parkinson's Diseases. #2 : Cortisol Release At Sunrise: Cortisol is primarily released in a significant spike around sunrise, experiencing a rapid increase in levels shortly after waking up, often referred to as the "Cortisol Awakening Response" (CAR), which is triggered by light exposure from dawn & considered a natural part of the body's circadian rhythm. This is crucial for metabolic health, immune function & alert energy throughout the day. The Cortisol Awakening Response is important for hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenocortical (HPA) function. Blunting this process by sun avoidance causes insulin resistance leading to metabolism & weight issues. #3 : Serotonin & Dopamine Release: Specialized cells in the retina, called "Dopaminergic Amacrine Cells", are responsible for releasing dopamine when stimulated by light. Which then signals to the brain to increase Serotonin production. This directly links sunlight exposure to higher levels of both neurotransmitters that regulate mood, alertness & completely eliminate Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD). 4 out of 10 people suffer from low mood, lack of energy & depressive episodes due to Seasonal Affective Disorder. More Sunlight & Vitamin D Benefits: Stroke Prevention Cancer Prevention Heart Attack Prevention Bone Health Immune System Health Depression Prevention Natural Appetite Suppressant Natural Blood Sugar/Insulin Control Mood Enhancer Keratin Production to Prevent Hair Loss Naturally Lowers Blood Pressure Optimal Libido & Hormone Production Supports Muscle Health & Injury Prevention 👇Red Infrared Light For Neural Function👇 👇Cortisol Awakening Response (CAR)👇 👇Sunlight Eye Exposure For Cortisol Health👇 Speaker: Jeremy London, M.D.

Fasting's the most underrated longevity hack on Earth. Doctors said skipping meals destroys your metabolism... Yet fasting is proven to boost your hormones, burn toxic fat, and repair DNA damage naturally. Here are 7 insane fasting benefits (bookmark this):👇️️️️️️ 1. Activates Autophagy Autophagy kicks in after 12–16 hours of fasting. It's your built-in cleanup system, recycling toxic and old cells into new, fresh ones. It also removes toxic debris linked to Alzheimer's, cancer, & accelerated aging. 2. Burns excess fat Fasting flips your body's fuel switch. When glycogen runs low, it start breaking down stored fat into ketones for energy. And the fact that no more calories are coming in your body... Means you're now forced to burn your own fat. 3. Boosts your hormones Fasting increases human growth hormone (HGH) by up to 5x baseline levels. Higher HGH means: - Faster fat loss - Enhanced recovery - Preserved lean muscle It also improves testosterone in men by reducing insulin resistance. 4. Repairs DNA damage With no food to process, your cells focus on SURVIVAL: - Repairing DNA strands - Cleaning out broken parts - Recycling damaged proteins Fasting's one of the few medicines that helps you rebuild from the inside out naturally. 5. Enhances Insulin Sensitivity Fasting gives your pancreas a break from constant insulin production. Over time, your cells become more responsive to insulin → better glucose control & lower diabetes risk. One study found 16:8 fasting improved insulin sensitivity by ~30% in just 8 weeks. I've found a supplement that increases fasting's benefits by 5X. It keeps insulin low, stabilizes energy, even lets you stay lean year-round. It allows me to stay at 10–12% body fat all year effortlessly, without energy crashes. Here's the one I use (AMAZON PRODUCT LINK): 6. Lowers Inflammation Fasting suppresses inflammatory cytokines like IL-6 and TNF-alpha — the molecular triggers behind: - Brain fog - Chronic pain - Slow recovery By quieting that response, your body heals faster and ages slower. I use fasting daily for the past year and here's exactly why: It gives me: - More energy - Leaner body - Better focus And I feel more alive than EVER. I've made a guide with my fasting protocol. Comment "Fasting" and I'll send it over. (Must Follow so I can DM) 🤝 *Every body works differently, this is not medical advice, just what worked on me." *Always consult a health expert before following any protocols." *Affiliate links included.*
