🔥Jack is right on the money. These bombs are designed to penetrate bunkers but as he explains the Fordow site was built “UNDER A MOUNTAIN FOR THIS PRECISE REASON”. It would require multiple strikes AND the subsequent bombs would have to land directly in the craters created to reach those centrifuges. Also as Jack Posobiec points out this is why a commando raid (Think Tora Bora) was being floated since it may be the only way to determine if there was complete destruction rendering it inoperable. Something else to consider though…the nuclear material that is present at a destroyed Fordow could prove hazardous to troops on the ground.

The US has the ability to hit it with special bombs. Tell us how it works. - This is probably the most powerful non-nuclear weapon in the world – the GBU-57. It is capable of penetrating about 60 meters of fortified structures. The problem with Fordow is that, as far as I understand, some of the facilities may be located at a depth of more than 90 meters. Nevertheless, this is a huge bomb – about 2.3 tons of explosives, the entire weight is about 13.6 tons. The only means of delivery is a B-2 strategic bomber. As I mentioned, it is about 5,600 kilometers from the target. This is an incredibly effective weapon. I had such weapons in Afghanistan – we used them several times, and they showed excellent results. But the question is whether it can penetrate deep enough to reach all the centrifuges. I think we might need at least half a dozen of these to have the desired effect at Fordow. - SK

Currently, this system is causing stormy weather in the Bay Area and unstable weather trending for a large part of our region with multiple embedded disturbances rotating around the parent low that is slowly moving throughout the state. There's a possible chance of isolated thunderstorms this afternoon in San Joaquin, Bakersfield, and maybe as far south as Santa Barbara County. One of these embedded disturbances may even reach as far south as western Los Angeles County by at least 7PM. However, the third low axis creates deep cyclonic flow there may be more showers due to a deep marine layer deck hovering 4,300 feet from Santa Barbara to San Diego counties. The temperatures will remain very March-like in the 67°F - 72°F range, and even colder in the mountains above 6,000 feet at 51°F - 54°F during the day, and at night 32°F - 35°F at higher elevations above 7,000 feet.
