I was at this game!!

Legendary

Watching that moment again feels like time just stood still. Kirk Gibson wasn’t supposed to even be on the field, let alone hit a game-winning home run in the World Series with two bad knees. It’s one of those rare moments that shows raw determination and guts can beat all odds. Everyone remembers the homer, but what gets lost is how his teammates rallied around him, pushing through their own struggles because they believed in each other. Moments like that remind me why sports can be so much more than just a game, they’re about heart, resilience, and the crazy things people can do when they refuse to give up

Kirk Gibson Homer will always be one of the most iconic Dodgers and baseball moments! Also I sure do miss Vin Scully! I enjoy Joe Davis calling Dodger Games but there will never be another Vin Scully

This is why October is the best month✊

I mean seriously, Vin Scully, succinct call then silent to let the moment be then an all time epic line in the history of sports and back to silence. Every broadcaster ever should learn from this.

Mr impossible

Amazing moment no doubt but Vin Scully is perfection on the call which makes it at least 40% better than if almost anyone else is on the mic. @KSeaboldt back me up here.

I watched this game live on my 13" RCA black and white TV. What made this moment more incredible is that Jose Canseco had hit a grand slam off Tim Belcher earlier that game and the Oakland lead felt completely insurmountable.

I watched it live on tv. Was a pretty awesome moment. I was cheering on the A’s at the time but with everything he was going through, I was pulling for him.

Wow 😳

They never found that ball, did they?

That arm rip rounding the base was such an iconic TV moment.

He was a Tiger first dammit!!!

I was there!

Tripping my balls off at a college party Turned the music off, amidst the boos, to see history My best friend, also tripping, said: ‘Bro, turning down the music for that AB was the most ballsy, epic shit ever’ He was right Baseball Man 🔥♥️🇺🇸

His only appearance in that World Series, he should've been MVP..

I was blessed to be at that game and will never forget the unreal atmosphere! Even as we drove out of the parking lot after the game, people were honking their horns, yelling and cheering. #GoDodgerBlue

He was so doped up with painkillers just to swing the bat!

“Gibbie! Meet Freddie!”

one of baseball’s greatest clutch moments ever ⚾

💪🏻

Bo bichette in world series this year

Very impossible

@WoodyCliffords Dodgers were the little engine that could that year

Clutch moment from the baseball great

Kirk Gibson said GET OUT BALL

Bro made it

I played poker in Vegas with Hershiser in 2015 and I asked him about this he said he and I think Mike Scoscia were talking to each other on the bench like what the F is Tommy doing this dude can’t swing or move

Did someone say Kirk?

On a bad knee! 💙

and 37 years later men still think they’re him just for hitting a softball at the company picnic 😭

Dodgers fans have always gotten everything they wanted

Cool one ☝️

Oh wow
