64 protesters were arrested and arraigned before different Magistrates in Katsina State today. Our team of pro bono lawyers under the auspices of LAWYERS FOR RULE OF LAW AND HUMAN RIGHTS led by MM Lawal, Esq. and DD Sani, Esq. represented the protesters in Katsina. 30 of the protesters... have been granted bail and most of the 30 have already regained their freedom. We’re still perfecting bail for the remaining. The other set of 34 protesters have been remanded in the Correctional Centre because they were charged with offences that are only bailable at the High Court. Our team is taking steps to apply for their bail at the High Court. We will continue to do all that we can to offer representation to protesters across the country. 🇵🇸 🇬🇧 🇮🇱 This man is yelling at Pro-Palestinian protesters, telling them they are "blind by hate", and that they are protesting because it is "fashionable", and has become "an excuse to hate Jews." While this may apply to some, it definitely does not apply to all who protest in support of the Palestinian cause. Many protesters in any protest will have extreme views and agendas, including Pro-Palestinian protesters promoting hatred, however this does not reflect ALL protesters. Most protesters are advocating for aid to civilians, the protection of the innocent, and improvements to the lives of Palestinians. These are noble causes to fight for. A Pro-Palestinian protester is not pro-Hamas. A Pro-Israeli protester is not anti-Palestinian.

In our address, we mentioned that the Commissioner of Police Lagos State Police Command have ordered the immediate release of the protesters who were arrested and detained in Panti, we also spoke about the peaceful protest and the conduct of the enforcement officers. In the press briefing, we assured protesters that our group of lawyers are willing and ready to freely secure the release of whoever is arrested in lagos state. I'm therefore using this medium to urge everyone protesting to ensure that the protest is done peaceful. Please reach out whenever someone protesting close to you is arrested by Lagos State Police Command

Once again at midnight, the Sindh police violently attacked a peaceful protest organized in solidarity with the Baloch Yakjehti Committee’s Baloch Raaji Muchi and in opposition to the brutal crackdown on the movement. Many of the peaceful protesters including women's were arrested and detained by the police. When the protesters resisted, the police were compelled to release some of them, though more than ten protesters remain detained. The state is showing fake negotiation on one side, while harassing and arresting peaceful protesters on the other.
