@NikTekOfficial Unreal?!?

@NikTekOfficial

@NikTekOfficial You mean, doesn't feel Unreal

@NikTekOfficial It doesn’t stutter like a UE5 game but it does unfortunately have stuttering issues with Nvidia reflex as well as DLSS FG. If you turn on FSR Frame Gen it’s silky smooth. Nothing like Borderlands 4 tho LMAO

Dying Light 2 had so many problems, during it's first release, but it's far more improved since then. That's because it gets a 5 year support window and Techland cares about their games, unlike other Devs. Other Devs give their games one year of support and then nothing. I believe 5 years should be the standard support window.

@NikTekOfficial It frequently stutters for me (4090)

@NikTekOfficial Sub 720p resolution on a PS5 Pro 💀

@NikTekOfficial Screenshot if your video settings please? In getting massive FPS drops sometimes

@NikTekOfficial It’s unreal that we just casually got another dying light game that might end up being the best one yet.

@NikTekOfficial Except it actually does stutter on PC. I recommend checking out Kryzzp and Daniel Owen's videos for more explanation. The game is surely better optimized than most other titles that came out this year but it still has optimization issues.

@NikTekOfficial No Unreal engine , no denuvo....

@NikTekOfficial Because it's not using Unreal Engine.

@NikTekOfficial This is not Unreal 5 engine. Its Techlands own engine!

@NikTekOfficial What game is this?

@NikTekOfficial Because those are assets from a previous game, why wouldn’t it run smooth

@NikTekOfficial it's graphics are mediocre. low poly objects. pixelated flat textures. feels like old technology. I cranked every setting on my 4080 super. still feels outdated

@NikTekOfficial This will bring Unity to our people

@NikTekOfficial Lucky you. I seem to be one of the only people for which this game is totally broken. My frame rate drops to 0 within about 3 to 5 minutes no matter what I do to settings.

@NikTekOfficial You sure

@NikTekOfficial Because it's not on Unreal 😂

@NikTekOfficial Little to no activity means there are no AI scripts running. A lot of those textures are low res meaning they're not taking much VRAM and can all be preloaded instead of streamed. Like yeah, ofc it runs well. It's barely doing anything. This game is could be from 2002.

@NikTekOfficial This game is using the same assets as Dying Light 2... It's the same world with a different story. This world has been out since February 2022. GULLIBLE.

@NikTekOfficial "Feels unreal" That's the thing, it doesn't.

@NikTekOfficial the game doesn't stutter because its correctly optimized. Trees that are to far away become billboarded trees. Zombies are only spawned in when you are close enough to them and buildings that are far away lose a lot of their lods. The game never lets you see this in action.

@NikTekOfficial Looks insane

@NikTekOfficial Upgrade your system. It is optimised for quantum computers, not your grandpa's 5090. Make sure to connect to a silicon photonic networking chip.

@NikTekOfficial "unreal" mmm what a curious use of words lmao

@NikTekOfficial The animations you have to watch 5000 times per session of him opening things to find loot to craft into 1 grenade are far worse for me. Makes me wanna fucking puke.

@NikTekOfficial what is this game

@NikTekOfficial The graphic looks great even when im watching ar 144p

@NikTekOfficial Well, they do use Techland's proprietary C-Engine. Most games not using UE5 seem to run fine.

@NikTekOfficial I'm surprised that Dying light the Beast does not stutter as a 2025 video game of this year, but there are certain other games this year that have had stuttered & bug problems like Mindseye!!!

@NikTekOfficial If it’s not stuttering it can’t be unreal.

@NikTekOfficial Stop buying new games as they are never optimized on release. Wait at least a year then it should be good and you get it for a lot less $£. One day they will learn.
