Just over two years after we inaugurated the ice cream plant at Purabi Dairy, I’m delighted to see #MadeInAssam ice creams now being exported to Bhutan. This is a proud milestone for the dairy farmers of the West Assam Milk Producers’ Cooperative Union Limited, whose dedication has made the Purabi brand a growing success. Our vision is clear, Assam must have a White Revolution of its own. We are working to raise milk production to 10 lakh litres a day and build a vibrant dairy industry. Fourth generation to my right, fifth to my left… and a sixth generation on the way with a wedding coming soon. It’s National Dairy Month, and we’re making real change in Washington: whole milk is back in our schools, new dietary guidelines are putting real food and dairy back at the center of policy, and U.S. dairy exports are up 17%. God bless our dairy farmers. 🇺🇸
