A Chemistry teacher exposing flaws in CBSE Class 12 paper checking is deeply alarming. Board marks decide admissions, careers, and futures. Even a small evaluation mistake can seriously affect a student’s life. Students are expected to work with perfection, so why is the checking system allowed to be careless?

CBSE Class 12 result 2026 has raised serious questions. In 2025, 16.92 lakh students appeared. In 2026, 17.68 lakh students appeared — 76,000+ more students. But despite more students appearing: • Pass percentage fell from 88.39% to 85.20% • 90%+ scorers fell from 1,11,544 to 94,028 • 95%+ scorers fell from 24,867 to 17,113 This happened in the first large-scale year of On-Screen Marking, where Class 12 answer sheets were scanned and checked digitally. He is a prime example of how ministerial accountability to the people—the hallmark of true democracy—is a distant dream in this government. He should have been sacked and removed unceremoniously a long time ago. He allows UGC guidelines to foster caste poison on campus, ignores NEET paper leaks, and now this surgical strike of digital checking of CBSE board papers. Thousands of students have suffered, especially science students. I have witnessed many 12th-grade science students who either scored 10 to 15 percent less or even failed. The worst part is that students are unable to get scanned copies for revaluation because the site has crashed. I sincerely believe that there can be no greater crime than playing with students' futures. People like him will likely lead to the formation of an actual COCKROACH JANTA PARTY.

I have seen so many heartbreaking videos of students crying and wailing because they were not allowed to enter the exam center for being just one minute late. One minute. That’s it. why can’t there be a grace period of a few minutes? Is it really fair to destroy an entire year of hard work, and possibly a student’s future, over such a small delay? What on earth will actually go wrong if a late student is allowed in? At the same time, Students should know how important these exams are. They should plan better, think of traffic, delays, and reach early. This exam can decide their career so shouldn’t they treat it with that seriousness Still, rules without humanity feel cruel. Discipline matters, yes but where is the compassion? When students are breaking down at the gate, it’s not just about rules anymore. It’s about empathy, balance, and common sense. There has to be a better middle ground.

CBSE gave the Class 12 digital checking contract to COEMPT Edu Teck. Questions are being raised because: • COEMPT is reportedly linked to/earlier known as Globarena, a company previously surrounded by evaluation controversies. • CBSE floated OSM tenders multiple times, and reports say final tender conditions were relaxed. • Scanning requirement was reportedly reduced from 300 DPI to 200 DPI. • High-end/robotic scanner requirement was reportedly removed. • Software maturity condition was reportedly reduced from CMMI Level 5 to Level 3. • Strict penalty clauses for scanning errors were reportedly diluted. • After this, COEMPT qualified and won on financial bid. • Students later complained of blurred scans, missing pages, wrong copies, delayed photocopies and portal/payment glitches. CBSE says due process was followed. But if everything is clean, CBSE should publish the full tender file, technical evaluation marks, financial bids and vendor performance report.

Because of shortcomings in OSM (On-Screen Marking), many parents and children are disappointed. Students don’t just prepare in Class 12; they’ve been working for years, knowing their future depends on it. Students remain focused on competitive exams like JEE and NEET. But due to OSM, many didn’t achieve the required marks, causing stress for families and children. Now, they question why this was introduced suddenly without a proper test run. On social media, students are voicing complaints, though not all reach us directly, but the frustration is clear. If you check CBSE’s Facebook page, you’ll see countless complaints. The official figure says 6.5 lakh students raised objections, but I believe the number should be far higher. Out of 18 lakh students, 12 lakh are from government schools, many in rural areas. If metro city students with laptops struggled, imagine the difficulties faced by rural children with limited access... Training was rushed, with follow-ups missing. Teachers had to log in and practise with sample papers, yet no one verified whether they actually did. Another issue: papers were supposed to be checked by PGT teachers, but due to shortages, TGT teachers were involved. TGTs usually teach up to Class 10, so they may not have fully understood the marking scheme. This could be a reason why some students received lower marks."

Reservation in medical education is a ticking time bomb that will destroy the foundations of healthcare in this country. When meritorious students are unable to secure admission in the medical field while undeserving candidates become doctors, India's healthcare system is bound to suffer. A system that grants medical seats to students with lower scores while high-achieving candidates struggle, even with exceptional percentiles, is destined to fail. Medicine is a profession where competency should be the sole criterion. It is a matter of life and death. If this continues, we are heading towards a medical system where degrees are devalued, trust in doctors erodes, and the public ultimately suffers. Reservation in medical education is not social justice; it is social suicide.

The chanda chori in Ram Temple deeply hurt the sentiments of devotees of Lord Ram. But the government is unwilling to have a discussion on these issues.
