This man finds it extremely aggravating when you are in a left hand turn lane and the car in front stops at the white line. He says you pull into the middle of the intersection and take control of the intersection and wait there. If oncoming traffic doesn’t let up, you turn as the light is about to turn red and oncoming traffic stops. Many said that defensive driving classes tell you to stay behind the white line until you can make a turn and have a safe exit and this causes accidents. He says that any CDL class will tell you to take control of the intersection and pull up to the middle of it, that way everyone isn’t waiting three rotations to get through the light. What do you do? Watching Dennis Allen’s defense and how he lines up his defensive ends reminds me a lot of how Texas A&M used Shemar Turner in 2023. Turner spent most of 2023 playing on the edge (mostly 4i to 6-tech), but after Nic Scourton transferred to College Station, Turner slid inside to make room. Part of why I wasn’t super high on Turner this year is because he always looked like a defensive end trying to play defensive tackle to me. But if you look at how Dennis Allen used Cam Jordan (6’4” 287) and Carl Granderson (6’5” 265) in New Orleans, it’s pretty easy to see how Turner (6’3” 290) could fit a similar role. Those guys lined up everywhere from a 2i to a wide 9. And if you throw on the 2023 Texas A&M tape, Turner actually shows more burst and bend than either Granderson or 35-year-old Cam Jordan did last season. I fully expect Dennis Allen to use Turner the same way and move him up and down the line. #Bears #NFLDraft

This conversation between Dr Jordan B Peterson and James Lindsay, anti-Communist is one of the best I’ve seen in years. If you haven’t watched it yet, I highly recommend it. In addition to talking about the similarities in both ideology and tactics between the Woke Left and Woke Right, they also discuss the psychopathology and resentment that fuels both. They occasionally use scripture as a lens through which to view both kinds of rebellion against God. This part, where they discuss how young women are targeted more heavily by Woke Left and young men are targeted more heavily by Woke Right is especially spot on. I am **eagerly** awaiting Mewgenics and I was extremely hyped to talk to Tyler Glaiel and 🜏 Edmund McMillen 🜏 about the design of the game! There is lots of unexpected takes here - making a highly composable, rich and colorful battle & ability system, while limiting player's ability in other areas: renaming cats, forcing you to pick new cats for a new run - both Tyler and Edmund have deep expertise in design and it's great to listen and learn from them! Edmund & Tyler, thanks a lot for taking the time! It was a lot of fun!

Indian nationalists love defending colonial borders drawn by the British - so let’s draw our own. China never agreed to the McMahon Line. If you insist on lines, we’ll draw ours right down to the Ganges. Sounds fair? If Britain can draw a line on a map and call it a border, so can China. They were about British colonial lines drawn without Chinese consent. If India insists on the McMahon Line, China might as well draw its own line. All the way to the Ganges River. 2/ Introducing the Gao Zhikai Line - named after scholar Victor Gao, who joked that if the British could arbitrarily draw lines in Tibet, China can draw its own. Only fair, right? 3/ The McMahon Line was drawn in 1914 by British imperialists at a secret conference in Shimla. China never signed it. Tibet, under Chinese suzerainty, had no authority to cede territory. It’s not a treaty. It’s colonial graffiti. 4/ Victor Gao’s proposal of the “Gao Zhikai Line” is satire with teeth. It exposes the hypocrisy of clinging to colonial lines while accusing China of aggression. You can’t base modern sovereignty on imperial theft. 5/ Funny how Westerners support drawing lines in other people’s mountains, deserts, and rivers, but scream “revisionism” when China reminds the world it never agreed to any of it. 6/ India was a victim of British colonialism. Arsenal vs Manchester City felt like a mix of individual issues and a game plan that didn’t quite match the problem in front of them. In a match where City are always going to dominate possession, it didn’t really make sense to have Eze used out wide.
