Yes i agree, the ui is not what it needs to be, and even in the f1 vid you can see it made the tires weird.

So this is the result of Gemini 4 Pro hiding under the name “Gemini 3.8 Flash” 🙄 I tried this so called rumored “Gemini 4 Pro” against famous "V8 Engine" demo from X and no, this is definitely not what all those posts about Gemini 4 Pro supposedly topping Arena benchmarks made it sound like. It does feel better than any Gemini model I’ve used so far, but it’s still not there. I wouldn’t even put it at Opus 5 level yet. Not sure what this hype is about, tbh.

I don't know what to say, this is soo damn impressive. the difference is hugeee🤯 Take a look at this result 😍 (watch it in highest quality) Same prompt, both one shot on web-chat ui Qwen-3.8-27b produces consistent beautiful, visually stunning results. This is one of the best water surface simulations i have seen across every local models i have run and at the same time beating Gemini-3.7-flash result. And this is running on my 3090. And yes its Q5, not even f8.

Bad: it keeps filling websites with HUDs/panels, even when the prompt asks for restraint. Biggest issue: prompt adherence. I told it multiple times not to use web, and it still did. Because of that, exact knowledge cutoff is hard to verify confidently.

I tested Fable 5.1 vs Kimi K3 vs GPT 5.6 Sol vs Gemini 3.8 Flash I capped Fable, Kimi & Sol at $2 and asked them to generate this beach scene. Fable 5.1: Looks good at first glance, but made many mistakes, like people sitting on the volleyball court. Kimi K3: It did well. There were no major bugs like in Fable 5.1, and everything looks good. Sol: Bad at 3D scenes as usual, but Astra will definitely fix that. Gemini 3.8 Flash: I ran it in a loop for 35+ mins and it cost $0.95. It didn’t understand what it was fixing. The output here is the enhanced version. IMO, not even Terra level. Gemini's benchmarks say Opus 5-level, but maybe not for spatial understanding. Gemini has other use cases. Which one did the best job?

OP BINWATCHING is underway. There has been serious, and I believe credible, concern raised here at Universal Ostrich Farms that the number of birds here is low and possibly dropping. Sgt. Mike Rude (retired) has been collecting evidence and has provided that to the RCMP along with a sworn affidavit. The RCMP have confirmed that they have begun and investigation and that it is ongoing. However, they have also stated to the family that they do not plan to do an independent headcount and will rely on CFIA for information. We know for certain that one ostrich has already died here while under the "care" of CFIA and under the "protection" of the RCMP. A simple headcount could clear this up and relieve a lot of stress on the family and the public following this story. I don't know if there are birds missing yet, but many people do and the evidence I've seen from Mike and with my own eyes makes me inclined to think something is off. If there are birds missing, we are going to do our best to prove it and if there isn't, that would be the best outcome. More to come.
