Thousands of new units are already on the way for teachers, first responders, veterans, nurses, seniors, service workers, and more. It’s time to end the shutdown! Yesterday we visited TSA workers at the Albuquerque Sunport who are working without pay to keep our country safe. We’re grateful to all of our federal workers who continue to show up and serve our communities. It’s 22 days into this shutdown—and way past time to bring back the House, pass a budget, and protect our healthcare. The safety of our communities literally depends on it! #ThankaFed

Small businesses are the heartbeat of our communities. Recently, I visited Lekker Stop Shop in Park Avenue, Westridge, opposite Parkhurst Primary, owned by Damian and Jodi, young South African guys. Despite criminals breaking into their shop three times, they have remained resilient and continue to serve the community with determination and pride. Local shops like these do more than provide everyday essentials; they create jobs, support families, and keep our neighbourhoods going. We need safer communities where hardworking business owners can thrive without fear. Let us continue to support our local businesses and stand behind those who refuse to give up.

His answer was incredible: Brandon discussed the hardships young Americans face being passed over for foreigners. We have to prioritize American workers first and train them to compete. Street fights and public violence have become a normal sight across New York City under Kathy Hochul. It’s not normal, and families should not be forced to live with it. Kathy Hochul and Zohran Mamdani put offenders ahead of victims while law enforcement is stretched thin. Businesses will not invest where workers and customers feel unsafe. Without public safety, there can be no real growth, jobs, or opportunity. In Nassau County, I hired more than 600 law enforcement officers and made Nassau the safest county in America. When I am Governor, I will restore law and order, protect residents, and make New York a place where families and businesses can thrive.
