Hydraulic Backup Power On deployment, the RAT drives a variable displacement inline hydraulic pump. That's why an airplane wing creates lift. The air moves faster over the curved top of the wing than underneath, so the pressure on top is lower. The higher pressure below pushes the wing up.

Here is a closer look at that Matthews gas line fire. This video was sent to us by a neighbor. This is right after it started. You can see both trucks from the contracting company on fire. Firefighters say this started when crews hit a natural gas line while drilling to place new power poles. It was extinguished when crews closed the pipe with a hydraulic press. More on WSOCTV at 5 and 6.

Tesla's new wireless charging technology is made in Germany 🇩🇪 The inductive charging pad that Tesla recently unveiled is based on technology from a German startup called Wiferion (formerly Blue Inductive) 👏🏼 “With an overall efficiency of over 93%, the systems based on etaLink technology are leading” - according to a press release from Bonn-based seed investor HTGF, which invested in 2017. 💪🏼 Even Marques Brownlee couldn't believe that 😉 He commented under a Tesla post that contactless charging could achieve a maximum of 75% efficiency. I'm curious to see who will be right in the end. But I think it is save to say, that after Tesla Automation (formerly Großmann), Wiferion was yet another smart purchase of a German company from Tesla.
