Attended the inauguration of the Circuit Bench of the Bombay High Court at Kolhapur, at the hands of Hon Chief Justice of India, Bhushan Gavai ji. It was a privilege to work alongside Hon Chief Justice of India, Bhushan Gavai ji in realising the vision of bringing this bench closer to the people of Kolhapur after years of dedication and careful planning. Kolhapur already has a rich judicial history, with the High Court established here during the reign of Chhatrapati Rajaram Maharaj. This Circuit Bench continues that legacy, bringing timely justice closer to the citizens of Kolhapur and the neighbouring districts of Satara, Sangli, Solapur, Ratnagiri and Sindhudurg. Strengthening Pune’s Infrastructure and Urban Connectivity Performed Bhoomipujan, Inauguration and unveiled the stone plaque of various development works along with DCM Sunetratai Pawar in Pune. Inaugurated and unveiled the foundation stone plaque of 9 water storage reservoirs under the Equitable Water Supply Scheme in Ward Nos. 41 and 19 at Mohammadwadi, along with DCM Sunetratai Pawar. The scheme is being implemented to ensure clean and regular water supply for citizens through a modern distribution system. Also performed the bhoomipujan (online) for the double-decker flyover integrated with Metro connectivity at Mahatma Phule Chowk, Mundhva. The project will help reduce traffic congestion and save travel time. Along with DCM Sunetratai Pawar, unveiled the statue and foundation stone plaque of Swarajyarakshak, Dharmaveer and ‘Budhbhushan’ Granth Rachnakar Chhatrapati Shri Sambhaji Maharaj at Chhatrapati Shri Sambhaji Maharaj Udyan, Pune. The sculpture depicts Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj authoring the historic ‘Budhbhushan’ granth, reflecting his extraordinary scholarship, vision and enduring contribution to our rich civilisational heritage. Empowering Maharashtra’s Legal Landscape! Glad to perform the Bhoomipujan for the new Civil Judge, Junior Division Court building in Mahad, Raigad-Alibag, along with Supreme Court’s Justice Hon Bhushan Gavai ji. This new court building will strengthen judicial infrastructure, ensuring faster and more efficient access to justice for the people of Mahad and nearby regions. Additionally, launched the book "Mahadcha Muktisangram", celebrating its rich legacy. Being in Mahad is truly special, as this land echoes the legacy of the Chavdar Tale Satyagraha, led by MahaManav BharatRatna Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar—a pivotal moment in the fight for social equality. The town also serves as a gateway to Raigad Fort, the capital of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, standing as a proud reminder of Maratha valour and Maharashtra’s rich heritage. This Bhoomipujan marks a significant step toward strengthening judicial infrastructure in Mahad. There will be no obstacles due to funding, as we are committed to ensuring the smooth progress of this project. Every effort will be made to complete the construction on time, providing a well-equipped court for efficient legal proceedings. And I will surely be present for its inauguration. In Maharashtra, judicial infrastructure is being shaped with a distinct vision, thanks to the efforts of Supreme Court Justice Hon Bhushan Gavai ji. His contributions have played a key role in enhancing efficiency and accessibility in the justice system. Being in Mahad is truly special, as this land echoes the legacy of the Chavdar Tale Satyagraha, led by MahaManav BharatRatna Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar—a pivotal moment in the fight for social equality. The town also serves as a gateway to Raigad Fort, the capital of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, standing as a proud reminder of Maratha valour and Maharashtra’s rich heritage. President Abdirahman Irro Inaugurates SERENE SARAVOR PREMIER, Elevating Somaliland’s Hospitality Sector The President of the Republic of Somaliland, H.E. Abdirahman Mohamed Abdillahi (Irro), today formally inaugurated the SERENE SARAVOR PREMIER Hotel, a newly established and modern facility in the capital city, Hargeisa. Distinguished as the first of its kind in the Somali region, the hotel has been constructed to the highest international standards and carries a Five-Star classification. The inauguration ceremony was addressed by the owner of the hotel, the Global CEO of SARAVOR PREMIER, the Mayor of Hargeisa, and the Minister of Investment Promotion and Industrial Development. They highlighted the hotel’s significance for Somaliland, both in strengthening its international profile and in stimulating economic growth. In his address, President Irro underscored that the project stands as a clear demonstration of progress, economic growth, and the confidence investors place in Somaliland’s peace, stability, and governance. He further highlighted the importance of modern hotels in strengthening tourism, hosting international conferences, and enhancing the overall quality of services available in the country. The President extended his deep appreciation to the investor, Mr. Abdikarim Mohamed Iid, commending his commitment to national development. COEP’s Legacy Gloriously Expands with New Infrastructure! 🚀📚💻 Delighted to inaugurate and unveil the stone plaque of the Library and the New Computer Engineering Department Building also distributed the 'COEP Abhiman' Awards at COEP Technological University, Pune. COEP’s remarkable journey of 172 years stands as a testament to its excellence, and in 2028 it will complete 175 glorious years. Over the decades, it has nurtured many distinguished alumni who have enriched diverse fields and brought pride to Maharashtra and the nation. COEP has earned a stellar reputation in engineering, technology, and research. The Government has already provided land for the university’s expansion, and it is essential to continue strengthening such institutions. In the years to come, full support will be extended to further enrich COEP, including the provision of funding to promote advanced research. With the world changing rapidly through Artificial Intelligence and Quantum Computing, opportunities and challenges lie ahead. Subrahmanyam organised by the Planning Department in Mumbai, today. The concepts presented at the workshop will serve as a strong foundation for the state’s long-term development plan. The ideas discussed will be compiled into a comprehensive vision for the next 20–25 years, with a firm commitment to ensure their effective implementation. As one of Maharashtra’s most prominent growth engines, Pune and Pimpri-Chinchwad are entering the next phase of infrastructure transformation. These 3 landmark elevated corridor projects will strengthen the Pune Metropolitan Region (PMR) as a future-ready hub of connectivity, mobility and economic growth. The Pune-Shirur Elevated Corridor (53.4 km), the Talegaon-Chakan-Shikrapur Elevated Highway (53.2 km) and the Hadapsar-Yavat Elevated Highway (31 km) will decongest key corridors, improve connectivity and enable faster, seamless travel across the region. Honouring Dr Annasaheb Dange ji’s Legacy of Service and Leadership... Glad to release 'Amravruksha', an autobiography based on the life and work of former Minister of Maharashtra Dr Annasaheb Dange ji (Appa) along with the inauguration and stone plaque unveiling of various buildings at the Ashta Educational Complex in Sangli today. Dr Annasaheb Dange ji is a respected senior leader who has made a lasting contribution to Maharashtra’s political and social life. His simplicity, discipline, strong conviction and deep understanding of people’s issues have always stood out. As Water Supply Minister, he took the initiative towards making Maharashtra tanker-free and established the Maharashtra Jeevan Pradhikaran to ensure drinking water for every village. He also played an important role in the farmers’ loan waiver movement in the late 1980s, bringing farmers’ concerns to the forefront. The State Government’s decision to waive loans of 56 lakh farmers is, in many ways, a tribute to the cause he championed decades ago. Dr Annasaheb Dange ji also took the initiative to identify and restore Chondi, the birthplace of Punyashlok Rajmata Ahilyadevi Holkar, and began the work on the memorial of Lokshahir Annabhau Sathe at Wategaon.
