Pedestrian are walking on road between fast moving vehicles. Also 2 & 4 wheelers are driving in wrong direction on this road. This footpath is at exit to Gokhle bridge towards Telligully. @mybmc

Phadke Marg — fulfilling a promise I had made to Andherikars when we reclaimed this neglected space for Andherikars. This area had become a dumping ground for abandoned vehicles, junk & debris. Residents also flagged the site as a growing nuisance & a potential fire safety hazard. Acting swiftly, we ensured the space was cleared & reclaimed within 48 hours. But reclaiming the land was only the first step. Over the past few months, we’ve maintained and secured the site, while we persistently pursued the funding proposal at various levels within the goverment to secure the necessary approvals & funding for its complete transformation. I’m extremely happy to share we’ve now secured the necessary funding & work on this project has officially been inaugurated. This has been a dream project of mine. We envision creating a vibrant, well-equipped recreational and sports destination for all age groups. Today, I led an inspection of the Obalende underbridge and motor park area, where the Lagos State Government has issued an immediate quit notice to squatters occupying the space. This is not a sudden action. Notices were issued as far back as 2024, and we are now moving to redesign the area into a clean, safe, and functional public space. The location will be handed over to a private sector partner for redevelopment and long-term maintenance as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility. The proposed design includes a motor garage, public toilets, sleeping bays, and electric vehicle charging points. Our objective is to end environmental degradation, remove criminal elements, and ensure that underbridge spaces serve the public in a sustainable way. I also inspected Oja Oba on Lagos Island and the Adeniji–Ilubirin loop as part of our broader effort to put open spaces to proper and productive use across the state. Let me reiterate that our environmental laws on street trading and illegal waste disposal remain fully in force. To ensure absolute Public Safety, the new Suryapur Police Rural Outpost was inaugurated in Baruipur today. Following the demands raised by local residents and grieving families during my recent visits to Baruipur, swift action has been taken as was assured to them for enhancement of security. Within just four days of that assurance, this fully functional Police Outpost has been established to bring Law Enforcement closer to the People. When I saw the mask "Tribes of the Calf" from Kanbas I knew I had to make it into reality. The jewelry and gold really made it stand out for me. Since Sam Spratt's The Masquerade was revealed, I have been spending time sculpting and dissecting the mask to recreate it in 3D as faithfully as possible. I delved into the creation of this mask for many reasons. I love a good challenge and this mask surely was one for me. Creating something in 3D from a 2D image is not easy, and especially when the source has generative nature, some stuff is hard to interpret, but I tried my best to make sure the visual integrity of the mask is as close to the original as possible. Splitting the whole mask into parts, filling the missing pieces so I can build the textures was quite a lot of work. I tried to present the mask in my own style with a slightly different colorway to adapt to the mask itself. Please enjoy this short animation, and turn on sound🔊 This piece is my statement that I am here to stay. That I have a voice that often feels being lost in the void. That I have been creating and posting digital art for over 20 years now and will continue until I'm gone. I have a story to tell and I want to be heard. The space we have here is small, and is shrinking day by day. It doesn't have to be like that. We need to support each other and push ourselves and people here, otherwise we are all doomed. As Kanbas has put in their observation of the mask: "Inspirational. Emotional. Natural." This is what our space can be, and this is me making a statement with this homage. I will share a 4k still below as well as a short video showing the 3D GLB interactive model together with a yt link to the 4k video since compression here is pretty bad.

First sitting of the council and I felt the need to say it straight, The people of this city didn’t elect us just to sit here and continue as usual. There are real questions over the last council, and we were given a mandate to look into it. I raised the issue of the land and assets list that was published. I’ve formally requested a full breakdown, ALL land under council rented out and not, all assets, all details. The mayor has assured me this will be shared & the council under him will adhere to full transparency, thank you mayor Adam Azim, Mayor of Male’ City for the commitment I’ll be following up at the next sitting.And I intend to keep pushing. Whatever comes out of this, I’ll be sharing it with everyone.

This is unacceptable. The county government will take strict action to ensure compliance and restore order in the area.

This exercise is part of our sustained commitment to reclaim and protect our waterfronts, beaches, and coastal corridors from illegal encroachments, shanties, and environmental nuisances. The Maiyegun-Lekki axis is a critical stretch and we will not allow it to become a haven for activities that degrade our environment and threaten public safety. Tha MMRDA has turned this metro station construction site into a terrible place, especially for pedestrians. One lane for vehicles and no space at all for pedestrians to walk. The contractor has turned this into a dumping site. There are no air pollution mitigation guidelines followed issued by माझी Mumbai, आपली BMC is followed. No cleanliness, many open storm water drains, not enough barricades and totally unsafe. The only 2 big barricades seen in the video today were placed today because it seemed like someone from MMRDA was visiting. This is Metro Line 6, near Mourya Grand and landmark building in Andheri West.

Today, I conducted a comprehensive review of the Police Officers' Mess, Masab Tank one of our most cherished welfare institutions, serving the police fraternity for over 65 years. Spread across 2.01 acres, the Mess is more than just a residential facility. It is a space that nurtures bonding, discipline, and esprit de corps among officers. During the inspection, I reviewed the rooms, function halls, gymnasium, swimming pool, kitchen, and areas currently under construction and issued clear directives for modernisation and upkeep. - Unused rooms to be repurposed as meeting rooms - Finishing, fixtures, and presentation to be prioritised - Parking area to be expanded and organised - Every corner to be transformed into a well-maintained, presentable space - An HRNS mechanism to be established for regular monitoring and maintenance With focused attention and consistent upkeep, the Police Officers' Mess holds the potential to become a premier institutional landmark one that every officer takes pride in. Our people deserve the best. And we will deliver nothing less. This may be the new Rocket Garden at Starbase, with a raised center structure, curving stairs up either side and perhaps space for Booster 12 & ship 20 displays. Looks to be nearing completion, perhaps by the end of August. If this is the new Rocket Garden, I hope it is open to the public.

As I prepare for my installation at Canterbury Cathedral, it feels deeply humbling to be following in the footsteps of those who have walked this ancient route. I’m looking forward to visiting local churches, cathedrals, and holy sites along the route, and to meeting people, praying with them and hearing their stories. As I walk this path I will be praying for our Church and our world and asking God to bless those we meet. Every Christian life is a pilgrimage, a journey with God. As I begin this new chapter in my own life and ministry, I am grateful to be walking with God and with others.

I'm deeply concerned about the recent developments in Ghana, and I urge the Ghana Police Service (Ghana Police Service) to fulfill their duties impartially and ensure that the perpetrators of vandalism are held accountable. As a concerned citizen and member of the New Patriotic Party, I believe that destruction of property under the guise of protest is unacceptable and must be condemned. The Ghana Police Service has assured the public of their commitment to maintaining law and order during protests. I implore them to take swift action and bring the culprits to justice. The youth of the New Patriotic Party will not tolerate chaos on our streets, and we expect the police to uphold their mandate to protect citizens and property. The Ghana Police Service is constitutionally mandated to maintain law and order, and it's crucial they remain impartial and committed to serving the public interest. This morning, I rushed to the site of the major fire accident in Porur, where a massive blaze had broken out at a wooden warehouse. Nearly 11 lorry loads of water were deployed to bring the fire under control. Ensured swift and coordinated action by the Fire and Rescue Services, Metro Water, Police Department, and other concerned agencies, which helped prevent any injuries and stopped the fire from spreading to nearby residential and commercial areas. Subsequently, I convened a review meeting with Electricity Board officials to ascertain the possible source and cause of the incident. Instructions have also been issued to GCC and TNEB officials to formulate and implement a proper safety measures for fire-prone establishments like temporary structures and warehouses, in order to strengthen safety measures and prevent such incidents in the future.
