Just look at the new Compositing in Blender 5.2. This is cool. Now the compositor can play sequence animation in real-time right in the compositor, and look at this, I'm doing color grading while the animation is playing. On top of that, the overall performance of the Compositor has grown a lot, and it now works at a level where you don't need to use DaVinci Fusion and can work fully in Blender. Because now Blender can definitely do that. Blender 🔶 This is an awesome update! Maybe you will think about adding the ability to move images in Compositing just by dragging them with the mouse, in some of the next updates...

I'm oddly proud and stoked about this one - live video preview w/ audio of the Robotron AI training on the web. You can watch it live here: I started simple yesterday, a canvas I updated with a snapshot of the game that I pumped over a socket from an emulator session. That evolved into a video tag with a properly encoded video stream, and today I spent a full damned day almost adding audio and keeping it in sync with the game (which runs at an uncorked and unpredictable framerate). Assuming my machine can handle the load, it's available for viewing pleasure now at the link above :-) You have to click on the preview to enable the audio, and you can turn it off/on at the bottom of the page. Thanks to dsobeski for beta-testing it!

I can finally announce the project I've been working on with Joce ! Fondant is building a new app that brings avatars and vtubing to Web. Multiplayer lobbies for vtuber streamer collabs or just hangouts with friends, as well as character customization tools building up to a full creator. We are using a WebGL and WebGPU techstack, so part of the point is to provide a cross-platform alternative to the current Unity based app ecosystem, and also to build tools that people can use to create or modify characters without going through a DCC (Blender, Maya, etc). For now we're starting with the basics: multiplayer lobbies, VRM support, and some tools like merging accessories into existing VRMs in the quoted post, and transferring Custom Vertex Normals from proxy meshes. My role is stylized shaders and procedural character creation. I've been working on NPR Shaders and tools to help build and customize 3D anime characters in Blender for years. With WebGPU, we can bring it into Web. My hope is to build a full character customization system for the Web with next gen toon shaders, and also a matching set of tools in Blender for serious content creators. But it is early days still, and there's a lot to be done! Here's the latest WIP of the rig for fitting proxy meshes to new faces.

The Fondant Easy Custom Normals Blender addon 2.0.0 is out! We've added the Anime Face Proxy Normals tool I've been developing as a new tier to help fund further development ($10). Get it on Gumroad (link below.) The free tier Laplacian Smooth modifier has also received fixes and optimizations. The Normals Proxy is a set of rigged Curves + Geometry Nodes magic. Who can help me figure this out? With the 'legacy' Cloth in Blender you can add Hooks and stretch a mesh during simulation. With the same setup and the new Cloth Dynamics in Blender 5.2, it just pulls on the individual Vertices. What am I doing wrong? #B3D #Blender #Blender3D

This is all you litterally do lmao and 9/10 it has shit loaded up (Had someone go record and do it then send me the video) So to me this isn’t even a glitch. As you can see it says “loading” half the time it be loaded heavy, sometimes only a few and sometimes sold out. This just forces the product to drop that it didn’t drop. Again it only works for NEW UPDATED SYSTEMS!
