$ONDS is trying to build a full 'system-of-systems' across aerial drones, counter-drone systems, ground robotics, ISR, border security, demining and AI-enabled command-and-control. That's where the $PLTR partnership becomes important because software is what can turn a collection of drones, sensors and robots into a real operating system. The acquisition strategy is aggressive but this quarter made it look a lot more credible. Less like a roll-up and more like an emerging autonomous defense platform with real demand behind it.

Most motion papers tailor one controller to one specific task. This year at SIGGRAPH, our research team asks: can motor control itself be pretrained and reused? Generative Pretrained Controllers, or GPC, turn motor skills into a vocabulary of discrete tokens and train a transformer-based generative controller through next-token prediction. Just like GPT, the same pretrained controller can then be fine-tuned to solve new tasks. Trained on 600+ hours of motion, GPC runs in real-time inside a physics simulation, producing natural and physically grounded behaviors for interactive control.

Their research feeds directly into Robora’s decentralized infrastructure, where modules for detection, segmentation, and control can be deployed across autonomous systems. This collaboration accelerates our path from academic labs to large-scale deployment, building a foundation where robots can operate, learn, and coordinate through Robora. How do you give a humanoid the general motion capability? Not just single motions, but all motion? Introducing SONIC, our new work on supersizing motion tracking for natural humanoid control. We argue that motion tracking is the scalable foundation task for humanoids. So we "supersized" it: 9k+ GPU hours and 100M+ motion frames. But tracking alone is not enough; we show how to make a useful control system out of it: - Universal Kinematic Planner: Enables game-like gamepad control and high-level teleoperation, just like controlling a character in a game. - VR Full-Body Teleop: Direct, real-time whole-body control by a human wearing a VR headset. - VR Keypoint Teleop: Control the upper body (hands/head) while our planner handles robust locomotion automatically. - VLA Integration: We connect this motion tracker to autonomous Visual-Language-Action (VLA) models for autonomous task execution! We use a Universal Token Space to UNIFY this command space, turning our robust tracker into a general-purpose, programmable humanoid brain.
