A student just trained this within a day, no tedious tuning, no sim2real tricks, not even with sys-id. Worked in the first trial on the real robot. This explains the many recent impressive demos on G1 robot -- just the hardware. Still sim2real gaps on ankle and waist dofs tho.

System ID for legged robots is hard: (1) Discontinuous dynamics and (2) many parameters to identify and hard to "excite" them. SPI-Active is a general tool for legged robot system ID. Key ideas: (1) massively parallel sampling-based optimization, (2) structured parameter space, and (3) active exploration based on Fisher Information to collect the most informative data in real. Sora's videos look impressive, but physics understanding and consistancy is still not there yet. It was a quite simple script: "A humanoid robot standing near the table with red, green and blue cubes on it performs a cube stacking task, with red in the bottom and blue on the top." Pretty impressive that it still managed to achieve the goal, only not in a very usual way.

No kid gon fight a teacher for no reason. I know yal despise the young generation. They are disrespectful. But naw. That’s a lot.. and this teachers has a history of disrespecting students & This is not the first student she fought at the school.

The next breakthrough for robot VLMs isn’t a bigger model 🧠 it’s memory. RAL accepted ✅ We show that a robot can ground a VLM using its own real-world experience, not extra training. EXPTEACH/PRAGMABOT = self-generated memory + closed-loop reflection: Fail → diagnose → replan → succeed → store experience Next time → retrieve the right experience → succeed in one shot Results on real robot tasks: 36% → 84% with reflection (STM) 22% → 80% single-trial success with long-term memory (LTM+RAG) And yes, we saw tool use emerge without explicitly asking for it. We will present recent work on real-to-sim-to-real robot policy evaluation, model-based planning with learned dynamics, and multi-modal manipulation. We will also have a joint live demo between SceniX and Analog Devices, Inc. on real-to-sim-to-real cable manipulation at the ICRA exhibition. THE FIRST WAVE ON THE BEACH WON’T BE HUMAN ANYMORE. Multi-legged robots don’t need the beach cleared first. That’s the entire point. Ukraine already ran the real version of this. An uncrewed boat dropped a robot on a beach. It opened fire with a remote machine gun before a single soldier landed. China’s done it too. PLA footage from October 2025 showed robot dogs paired with drones in a live amphibious landing drill near Taiwan. The real mission set: underwater beach surveys, mine detection, coastal mapping. Jobs that used to send Navy SEALs in first. This is now an official vehicle category for defense contractors — beach landings, amphibious recon, route clearance through the surf zone. The honest catch: this is mostly recon and mine-clearance, not an armed assault unit yet. Beaches used to be cleared by soldiers. Now it’s machines. Would you trust a robot to scout the beach before you land on it?
