Happy to explain it to you. Convoy domestic terrorist pukes are always insisting that hundreds of transport trucks blasting 120db horns day and night for three weeks is a loving experience. One tiny little speaker with a recording of that convoy audio for 15 seconds is clearly very uncomfortable for the hate convoy organizers, who can't escape this very minimal noise fast enough. That is a magically ironic experience for hate convoy organizers Tamara Lich and Chris Barber, after subjecting regular people in Centretown and Lowertown to 300x that level of noise for three weeks, and insisting they enjoyed it and it was peaceful. Another hate convoy aka freedom convoy mythology that persists is the suggestion made by Tamara Lich and others that the truck horns were just the occasional peaceful loving beep beep and not part of a strategy to harm local citizens to extort political change (aka domestic terrorism). There is endless evidence that proves otherwise, but some of the hate convoy leaders were more careful than others about overtly recognizing and celebrating this tactic and the results. Pat King was not one of them, and here we see the 100% proof that the use of 120db truck horns in the Ottawa occupation was exactly what downtown residents always knew it was: an attack on civilians to gain power and extort government. It seems about 40-50 people are on this particular call and you can see there are some in the group who share in Pat's joy at being successful in harming people, others are worried about the consequences (to themselves if they are honking) but nobody cares that the real people - infants, single moms and dads, senior citizens, people with disabilities - are not sleeping for 10 straight days. On July 22, my boss, Ezra Levant 🍁🚛, was called to testify about the affidavit he submitted explaining why Tamara's conditions need to be reviewed so she can properly do her job. But instead of focusing on that, the Crown spent much of its time putting Rebel News on display, pulling up our website, revisiting previous interviews between Ezra and Tamara, and heavily focusing on Ezra's criticism of the court proceedings and rulings in Tamara's case. Tamara was sentenced in 2025 to an 18-month conditional sentence including house arrest, a curfew, and hundreds of hours of mandatory community service, on top of the 49 days she already spent behind bars. This is the longest prosecution for non-violent mischief in modern history. The trucker convoy was the most peaceful we have ever seen in Canada, with people from all walks of life coming together to demand their basic freedoms from Trudeau's authoritarian government. And yet, Tamara continues to pay the price. In my view, this is a political prosecution, an attempt to make an example out of her and send a warning to anyone willing to stand up to government overreach. It's shameful. On Saturday, I was invited to the official residence of the American ambassador to Canada to celebrate 250 years of American independence. What a change from how I was treated in Ottawa during the trucker convoy — arrested, jailed and prosecuted just for peacefully protesting against the Liberal government. None of it would have happened without you. I'm still under house arrest. The only way I’m allowed to travel is to clear every trip in advance with my probation officer. But because Rebel News hired me as a journalist and community ambassador — something your donations to The Tamara Project made possible — I was granted a work exemption to attend the 250th Independence Day celebrations in Ottawa alongside the other Rebels. I even had a few minutes to speak with the ambassador himself, and to thank him personally for the support he and so many Americans showed during the Freedom Convoy. That conversation meant a great deal to me. Getting out of the house, standing among people who genuinely believe in freedom, and pushing back a little against the craziness we're all living through, reminded me why I keep doing this, restrictions and all. Judge takes aim at Rebel News and Ezra Levant during Tamara Lich hearing The hearing over Tamara Lich 🇨🇦's request to vary her conditional sentence conditions was more about Rebel News and Ezra Levant 🍁🚛's political opinions than Lich's sentence, reports Alexa Lavoie. One of the most striking moments came when Justice Heather Perkins-McVey declared that Ezra Levant had hired Lich solely for the purpose of getting her out of her house, adding that Ezra holds very strong views of the justice system, of herself and of the trial process, which he has made very clear in Rebel News' video reports. Justice Perkins-McVey reiterated this multiple times, stating that Rebel News has, in many ways, made a mockery of the conditional sentence. She also mentioned the roughly 40 items of Tamara Lich merchandise, specifically one showing Lich with duct tape over her mouth. The judge said the merchandise suggested Rebel News was using Lich's employment to promote and monetize her house arrest, with the duct tape symbolizing Ezra Levant's view that the conditional sentence was intended to keep her quiet. Lawrence Greenspon, counsel for Tamara Lich, pushed back, saying he had never seen a case in which the political or journalistic views of an employer were considered a reason to doubt compliance with a conditional sentence. Greenspon repeatedly stressed that Lich has complied with the conditions. She has already spent nine months under the conditional sentence, completed her 100 hours of community service and received approval for interprovincial travel for work on 13 separate occasions. He argued that she is under extraordinary scrutiny, saying that if she steps one inch outside the lines, people will notice and authorities will know. Crown prosecutor Siobhain Wetscher clarified that they are not suggesting Lich has in any way breached her conditions, but that the Tamara Project was effectively designed as a workaround to Lich's sentence, and described her employment as self-promotion under the guise of journalism. The Crown also argued that allowing broader exemptions would weaken the denunciatory and deterrence effect of the sentence and undermine public confidence in the justice system. Greenspon argued that Chris Barber, who was also found guilty of mischief, has since been allowed to travel internationally for work. Justice Perkins-McVey said she was not aware of that. The bias of the judge was clearly on display. At times, she was almost finishing the Crown prosecutor's sentences, and at one point, they even giggled together over an argument. The judge even had Tamara Lich's lawyer acknowledge that she has the power to tighten the restrictions. She appeared offended by Ezra's harsh criticism of her decision-making, even though that is exactly what commentary journalism is for: to criticize when the justice system makes decisions that are unfair or biased. Lich has been compliant with her sentence conditions for nine months now. She is requesting permission to travel internationally for work. The Crown is opposing the request, and the final decision is soon to be handed down. Judge takes aim at Rebel News and Ezra Levant during Tamara Lich hearing The hearing over Tamara Lich 🇨🇦's request to vary her conditional sentence conditions was more about Rebel News and Ezra Levant 🍁🚛's political opinions than Lich's sentence, reports Alexa Lavoie. One of the most striking moments came when Justice Heather Perkins-McVey declared that Ezra Levant had hired Lich solely for the purpose of getting her out of her house, adding that Ezra holds very strong views of the justice system, of herself and of the trial process, which he has made very clear in Rebel News' video reports. Justice Perkins-McVey reiterated this multiple times, stating that Rebel News has, in many ways, made a mockery of the conditional sentence. She also mentioned the roughly 40 items of Tamara Lich merchandise, specifically one showing Lich with duct tape over her mouth. The judge said the merchandise suggested Rebel News was using Lich's employment to promote and monetize her house arrest, with the duct tape symbolizing Ezra Levant's view that the conditional sentence was intended to keep her quiet. Lawrence Greenspon, counsel for Tamara Lich, pushed back, saying he had never seen a case in which the political or journalistic views of an employer were considered a reason to doubt compliance with a conditional sentence. Greenspon repeatedly stressed that Lich has complied with the conditions. She has already spent nine months under the conditional sentence, completed her 100 hours of community service and received approval for interprovincial travel for work on 13 separate occasions. He argued that she is under extraordinary scrutiny, saying that if she steps one inch outside the lines, people will notice and authorities will know. Crown prosecutor Siobhain Wetscher clarified that they are not suggesting Lich has in any way breached her conditions, but that the Tamara Project was effectively designed as a workaround to Lich's sentence, and described her employment as self-promotion under the guise of journalism. The Crown also argued that allowing broader exemptions would weaken the denunciatory and deterrence effect of the sentence and undermine public confidence in the justice system. Greenspon argued that Chris Barber, who was also found guilty of mischief, has since been allowed to travel internationally for work. Justice Perkins-McVey said she was not aware of that. The bias of the judge was clearly on display. At times, she was almost finishing the Crown prosecutor's sentences, and at one point, they even giggled together over an argument. The judge even had Tamara Lich's lawyer acknowledge that she has the power to tighten the restrictions. She appeared offended by Ezra's harsh criticism of her decision-making, even though that is exactly what commentary journalism is for: to criticize when the justice system makes decisions that are unfair or biased. Lich has been compliant with her sentence conditions for nine months now. She is requesting permission to travel internationally for work. The Crown is opposing the request, and the final decision is soon to be handed down. This was during his tenure as Governor of Kaduna State when his convoy ran into a siege laid by bandits on Abuja - Kaduna road. Commuters were stranded and vehicles parked. Fear reigned supreme. Governor Nasir El-Rufai did not order his convoy to blow the siren and speed pass. No. He stopped his convoy, alighted from his vehicle and alongside his security team went on foot towards the source of the danger, even as the stranded and fear stricken onlookers were shouting at him to ''come back Mallam"! "come back Mallam"! He continued. This is not an AI generated video neither was the video shot by his media aides or 2k data boys. This is the same Nasir Ahmad El-Rufai who some idiots say is a bandit sponsor. This is the same El-Rufai who they say paid bandits as Governor and some clowns believe. This is the same El-Rufai who they killed Southern Kaduna people and persecuted and killed Christians. This is the same El-Rufai that some losers love to hate. I have since come to verifiably realise and to conclude that the only people who hate Nasir El-Rufai are ethnic and/or religious bigots, betrayal, bush and urban bandits and their sponsors.
