Perfection. Another requirement: choose whether to launch the configured apps at startup. I always launch the same apps manually at every startup (vscode, browser, etc) so I configured hyprland to launch them at sartup on specific workspaces

@iamdothash This is great. I wanted to find how to or build a feature to pin an app to multiple desktops. Seems like this is it! Thank you

Nice work! I've had these in mine but can't get the damn plugin through the plugin marketplace gates. My favorite is drag sizing.

Yeah, it is quite a queue these days getting the plugin out there. It's been working on by both Ryan and Hancore!

Yes, I definitely have to say this now, this is amazing! 🔥 I haven’t tested it yet, so I wanted to ask something. If we drag an app by its header, do the available drop zones appear in the middle/top of the screen so we can place it there? It’s a very simple question, but this is something that can genuinely be useful in everyday use. Sometimes I just want to move an app there on the spot. 🤠

No, everything will happen within the plugin/app.

PERFECT!!! This is great because now I can hook the little AI assistant i built my kids up to this…it already remembers their “scenes”…. (math homework setup or whatever), so this just makes it even easier. love this.

Something I definitely want to take advantage of. Another nice to have I ran into today, maybe available and I don’t know how yet, reordering my workspaces. I found I had to move things around the old fashioned way 😁

Connect apps to windows in workspaces — how many tabs before that binding actually stuck?

launch it from a notification, file association, or terminal command and the layout stays the same. that removes a surprising amount of daily window cleanup.

Does it work with session restore after restart?

Фото профиля catman

capturing a layout and its pins from the windows already on screen removes the worst part of setting this up. does it also restore the exact monitor arrangement after a reboot?

Hermes just made its in-app browser a whole lot more useful. You can now keep multiple browser tabs open inside Hermes Desktop instead of every new page replacing the one you were already using. And that matters more than it sounds. Because this is not just about “having tabs.” It means Hermes can work across multiple pages without forcing you to keep losing your place every time you open the next thing. Research one source, keep it open, open another tab, compare them side by side, and keep moving. Check a few products before buying something. Look at multiple hotel or travel options at once. Keep a YouTube tutorial open in one tab while Hermes looks through docs or another page in the next. And because this lives inside Hermes Desktop, you are not limited to one basic browser view either. You can keep multiple tabs open. You can view two pages side by side. You can stack them top and bottom. You can even run a four-panel view when you want several pages open at once. So the browser inside Hermes is starting to feel a lot more like a real workspace instead of one page you keep replacing. There is also some nice polish that comes with it. Browser tabs now label themselves based on the page, and the address bar behaves more cleanly while pages are loading. And remember, this is the same in-app browser Hermes can already read, click through, type in, scroll, and annotate. So this is not just a prettier browser. It is a more capable workspace for the browser Hermes is actually using. If Hermes is going to do more of your work on the web, this is exactly the kind of browser upgrade it needed.

RustGIS is now on PyPI: pip install rustgis RustGIS is a fast, free and open-source GIS in pure Rust for mapping, analyzing and sharing geospatial data. It runs natively on Windows, macOS and Linux, and in your web browser. Your data stays on your machine unless you send it to an AI model you choose, and every action is a command you can script. The new rustgis Python package brings the RustGIS engine into Python and the full RustGIS app into your Jupyter notebook, with no server to run and nothing else to install. What you can do - The engine in-process: open the same data the app opens, run any of RustGIS's commands and geoprocessing tools, style layers and render maps, all from Python. - GeoPandas in and out: turn any layer into a GeoDataFrame, or add a GeoDataFrame as a layer. - The whole app in a notebook cell: shows the ribbon, panes and map right below your code. - Two-way sync: what Python adds or styles appears in the app, and what you pan, edit or add in the app comes back to Python. - Projects that travel: save a .rgis project from Python and open it as it is in the desktop app or the web app. - Runs where you work: JupyterLab, Jupyter Notebook, VS Code and Google Colab, with prebuilt wheels for Windows, macOS and Linux. Get started in three lines: import rustgis m = m Try it out - Open the getting-started notebook in Colab: - PyPI: - Python guide: - Launch the web app: - GitHub: #GIS #Rust #Python #Jupyter #OpenSource #Geospatial

this is f*cking dangerous. i'm using it. agencies quote $25,000+ and 8 weeks for an app like this i sent one message to a group chat in Teamily AI (Teamily AI). 45 minutes later 3 AI agents had built it, tested it and handed it back my take: a few people and a few agents in one group, all working from the same context, beat one person juggling a stack of agents alone in a normal chatbot you're the middleman, pasting one answer into the next prompt. here the agents read the same thread and hand work to each other my whole brief was one line: "like Splitwise but simpler". then i mostly watched: → the Software Architect agent mapped every screen, then tagged the Content Creator on its own → the Content Creator named it Evenly ("split bills, keep friends") and wrote the copy for every screen → the Frontend Developer built it in Website Builder: sign up and login, groups, invite links, who owes whom, settle up, a read-only admin view and its own database with 12 tables → then it checked its own work: ran 129 tests, signed up as a brand new user and went through 34 screens → one more message from me and it added receipt scanning: snap a photo of the receipt, it pulls out the items and splits them zero code from me. the build itself took 26 minutes honestly the part that got me: during its own test one save looked stuck. it went through the server logs and the database before it trusted the result i ran this one solo, so more people in the chat is still my bet. 3 agents alone already worked like a small team that's the whole point of Teamily AI: a workspace where humans and agents collaborate. if you run a small business or a small team, this is the one to try want to copy it: make a group, add a Software Architect, a Content Creator and a Frontend Developer, describe your app in one line my invite link to try Teamily AI is in the first reply bookmark this and send it to the friend who's been "about to build an app" for years

Interlink Name Service us now live on mainnet: what is it and how does it work? InterLink Labs 👤 + 🌐 Name Service (INS) is now live on mainnet INS goes beyond simply being simply an app: it is InterLink’s first move toward making human-readable identities available through a name service for InterLink, where names such as yourname.itl may represent long wallet addresses. At the time of launch, there were already 44 domains registered by 10 different owners. In addition, a price promotion period was promised to take place soon. INS is the way that InterLink has chosen to place a name between a human and a hex address. What INS really is INS is a decentralised naming system on InterLink Chain. A registered name is not a rented username in some corporate database. Instead, a registered name is minted as IRC-721 NFT, meaning its ownership is on chain and can be transferred or sold like any other NFT. After that, the name could be wrapped via the NameWrapper smart contract and transformed into IRC-1155 tokens with “fuses” that limit the ability to revoke subdomains for this name. The name is supposed to function as an identity passport, not only an address to pay. How it works INS uses an architecture similar to DNS and Ethereum Name Service, but it is built on top of InterLink Chain's smart contracts. Registry: The registry smart contract maintains information about name ownership, resolver used by this name and cache configuration. Registrars: Above the registry are registrar smart contracts responsible for implementing rules for name registration in a particular TLD like .itl including its duration and price. Resolvers: It's here where the resolver does the real job – it translates name into an address, content hash or other information. How to buy and configure a name The intended process flow is straightforward and takes place within the InterLink app: - Launch the InterLink app using Mainnet. - Open INS app from Core Team Apps / Mini Apps. - Link a compatible wallet. - Look for the desired name. - If the name is available, select a period of time to register it (for instance, one year or two years) and make a payment of the fee in ITL. - Configure the record data: at least the InterLink Chain address to which the name will resolve. Set up the primary name for reverse resolution.

Hermes agent just left the terminal. 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗸𝘁𝗼𝗽 dropped yesterday. native app for macOS, Windows, and Linux. for months Hermes was the agent that learned your projects, wrote its own skills, and built a model of who you are. all of it buried in terminal logs. now it has a window. the important part is that it's not a wrapper. it runs the same agent core, the same sessions, memory, and skills as the CLI. you can start a task in the terminal and finish it in the app without anything resetting. the state is shared across every interface, not copied between them. what the GUI actually adds: → streaming chat that shows live tool calls and inline reasoning instead of a spinner → a preview rail that renders pages, code, and images right beside the conversation → an artifacts panel that collects every file the agent has ever produced → remote gateway mode, so you can point the app at a VPS and run the heavy work elsewhere → skills, cron, profiles, and gateways managed point-and-click instead of through YAML → voice mode, drag-drop files, and inline image generation remote gateway mode is the one worth slowing down on. the agent runs 24/7 on a $5 server while you control it from your laptop like a local app. other agent UIs are chatboxes with a logo. this one shows the autonomy instead of hiding it, so you watch the skills load, the tools fire, and the artifacts pile up as it works. it was teased in Jensen's GTC keynote. MIT licensed, local-first, no telemetry. if you already run Hermes, download it and everything is already there. your chats, memory, and skills carry straight over. i wrote a full masterclass on Hermes Agent that walks through the SOUL. md identity layer, the three-tier memory system, the self-evolving skills loop, and how to run three specialized agents 24/7. desktop is the interface that finally does all of it justice. the article is quoted below.

THIS IS F*CKING OBSCENE opus 5.5 got Fortnite running inside Minecraft and Minecraft running inside GTA 5, with nobody's permission and nobody's documentation three engines, three completely different ways in, and one of them has no way in at all THREE GAMES, THREE DIFFERENT WAYS IN → Minecraft is Java and ships a loader on purpose. that one is the front door. you write against an interface somebody meant for you to use → GTA 5 has no modding api and no front door. you get a compiled binary and nothing else, and the only route in is to read it → Fortnite is a live service with anti cheat sitting on top. there is no way in at all, and that single fact changes the entire job WHAT READING A BINARY ACTUALLY MEANS → no source, no comments, no function names. you recover what code does from what it is, which is the opposite direction from how it was written → the exact build gets pinned before anything else, because one patch moves every address underneath you, and a different version is a different game → nothing counts until it is confirmed inside the running process. launch it, play it, look at it. opus 5.5 does the reading, the pinning and the checking, and that loop is the part that used to be a team and a year WHAT THIS ACTUALLY CHANGES → reverse engineering was the most expensive skill in modding. one person, one binary, months of evenings, and the knowledge died with the project → now it is a loop that runs while you sleep, and what comes out of it is not a guess, it is something that got checked against the game while the game was running → so the hard question stopped being whether you can get into an engine. it is what you do once you are standing in three of them at once one layer was read out of a binary one came through the front door one was never touched at all, and it still had to land right
