🌐 Inside Algorand’s Biggest Updates: Liquid Auth, Payments, Post-Quantum and More We sat down with Pera to break down some of the most important developments happening inside the Algorand ecosystem right now. Here are the standouts: • Liquid Auth is Now Live A fully decentralized, passkey-based login that removes centralized choke points like WalletConnect. Built on Web2 standards, interoperable on day one, and designed for a future where apps, games, and Web3 accounts work seamlessly. • Real Progress on Payments USDC inflows and outflows are getting easier than ever. New partnerships are turning Para into a true finance app, not just a wallet. Bank accounts, direct deposits, remittances, and on-chain settlement blended into one experience. • Cross-Chain USDC and Swaps Allbridge, Exaswap, bridges, and credit-card on-ramps. Algorand is removing friction that stops most people from ever becoming active users. • Post-Quantum Infrastructure Falcon signatures, quantum-safe state proofs, and only one major component (VRF) left before the chain is fully post-quantum. Meanwhile, many networks are just beginning to think about this. • AI Agents, X402, and Machine-to-Machine Payments Early but real. Exactly where decentralized networks need to be heading. Algorand is working towards abstracting crypto and eliminating complexity, a world where people don’t even realize they’re using blockchain. It just works. Podcast powered by Algorand Foundation

$SHx #ESCROW Update + New Video! 🙌 It was in front of my eyes the whole time, and I didn't see it. Now you maybe can imagine whats up with all the #Accounts. -------------- The supposedly final steps surrounding #SHx #ESCROW have been completed. - #Trustlines have been added to the accounts. The accounts are ready to receive #SHx Tokens, from the account they were created by. And that ''Supply Account'' will receive the SHx tokens from the biggest Adresses. - The accounts have been signed. The domain has been assigned to the accounts. - The security of account transactions is ensured with MultiSig. Each account is thus secured by multiple other accounts. - #Thresholds have been set. ''In the #Stellar blockchain, the term "thresholds" refers to a system for authorizing transactions based on the weighting of signatures.'' I will write a comprehensive post about this later. --------------- Related to the #PuBNet Test #ESCROW, everything for the ''Supply Account'' seems to be finished, unless I've overlooked something again. So that account, that created these 60 Accounts, will what i think receive the $SHx Tokens and split them under the 60 accounts. Since the PubNet Test might mirror the real #ESCROW i think that 1B Tokens to be locked by each account is very possible, and makes the most sense. I dont know the release schedule. We will see that with the invocations/lockups. If i am wrong with all that, i am really sorry. But why would you test on PubNet with 1Million per invocation (10M in total) and not 500k? because that would need more accounts if you want to lock up 10Million on the PubNet Test ESCROW. So since we will see a bigger Lockup than 10 Billion (what Sean Bennett said), to lock 1 Billion away with every Account makes sense. So in total we would have a 60 Billion Token Lockup. Otherwise if you want to lockup only 30 Billion, then just make fewer Accounts, right? ------------ A timelock escrow is good for Stronghold and #SHx because it: - Builds trust and stability - Manages token supply responsibly - Encourages long-term growth and commitment - Aligns incentives between team, partners, and community ------------ Thanks for your patience, guys! when we were at facebook, we believed that at some point in the future, most of the transactions on the internet would not be done by humans they would be done by machines that conviction shaped every architectural decision behind sui we built sui for the world we knew was coming a world where machines will be the primary economic actors on the internet and that world is no longer a forecast. it is unfolding right in front of us the internet has reached a tipping point where automated activity, supercharged by AI, now outpaces human interaction non-human traffic now accounts for more than 50% of all global web activity and you can see humans using agentic workflows more and more in their daily lives in the next years, that trend is going to grow exponentially and the volume of financial transactions executed by agents is also going to grow exponentially with it each agentic workload will be running multiple thousand economic transactions a second and this is going to be orders of magnitude higher than what human wallets do today the L1s optimized for human usage patterns, human attention, human accounts, and human patience cannot adapt to where this is going i have always said this if it is not in the foundation, you cannot patch your way to it later and rn, no other L1 has the foundation sui has this is why agentic apps like Beep, Audric, WaterX are choosing sui and this is just a start. more agentic apps will keep landing on sui because agents are optimizers. they will always route through the fastest, cheapest path on the internet and that path is sui we believed it at facebook. we believe it more today than we ever did the agentic economy is inevitable. and it will run on Sui

This is the English translation of قناة الجزيرة’s report on schoolgirls who called for Israeli history to be included in the Somaliland curriculum. The story was first reported by the popular Somali media outlet, Galaydh, and I shared it on my social media platforms. Below is the report Al Jazeera produced about it. They claim that my account belongs to #Israel. If they had made such a claim in a country where the rule of law is respected, they would have been sued. 😂 👇🏾👇🏾 👇🏾 “This clip of female students in Somaliland calling for the teaching of Israeli history and Netanyahu has sparked intense debate on social media.” “Israeli accounts capitalized on this video to support the proposal and further amplify its reach. One of the accounts even promised that this demand would soon be fulfilled.” “Other accounts called on the Israeli Foreign Minister, Gideon Sa’ar, to convey this message to his country's leadership.” “On the other hand, social activists and other Somali accounts reacted angrily to these demands. One of them said: “They are young girls who do not know much. There is a political agenda behind this path. Israeli history will not add any benefit to you,” along with many other similar comments.” “The circulation of this video comes as a reaction to the political developments witnessed in the region in December 2025, when Israel announced its recognition of Somaliland. This caused content related to the issue to spread widely and be used to support differing political narratives.“

🟠Confirmed: Over the Last Two Months, some #OneNation’s “Support” on X is Astroturfed - Paid Trolls We’ve been tracking every single reply to our posts that fact-checked One Nation officials. This isn’t a casual observation—this is a forensic record of what’s actually happening online. Here’s what we found: Account Profiles Almost all replies come from accounts with 1–200 followers, some newly created but often inactive for 4–5 years or longer. The accounts are aged but post almost nothing original. Many have generic names or profile pictures. Suspicious Follower Networks They all follow the same types of accounts: fake Elo;n accounts, crypto bots, “massage” DMs, lottery winners giving away millions. These are classic signals of bot farms or troll networks “warming up” accounts to bypass platform filters. Reply Patterns The replies are always illiterate, ranty, off-the-mark, and irrelevant. They never engage with facts. Instead, they flood threads to create the illusion of support. This has happened consistently over the last month, with nearly 500 separate accounts exhibiting this behaviour. Tactics in play These seemingly One Nation supporters' replies use a few clear strategies. Sentiment manipulation makes their posts appear more popular than they really are. Engagement suppression buries intelligent critiques under a swarm of low-quality replies. And intimidation is used to create the feeling that you’re shouting into a void, discouraging further fact-checks. Why This Happens This is textbook #astroturfing: a fake support prop for a movement. It may involve AI-generated responses, low-cost foreign labor, or troll farms. It’s common globally for fringe political groups, though it violates X’s terms of service. The takeaway This is not an anomaly. It’s a clear, deliberate strategy to amplify One Nation’s perceived support online. These accounts are not normal followers—they’re part of a coordinated effort. We’ve logged every single one of these replies and their patterns. The evidence speaks louder than any claim. A popular movement does not need to do this; a desperate one will.

Dear Elon Musk, We know you’re working hard to make this platform trustworthy and truly democratic. That’s exactly why I’m bringing this to your attention: to highlight the unchecked jihadist frenzy unfolding here. Major accounts, reaching millions of views, continue to push fabricated content without restriction — manipulating public opinion with extremist narratives. Meanwhile, small accounts are under heavy scrutiny, with immediate Community Notes slapped on them. Take this example: yesterday, a pro-jihad account received 18 million views for posting fake news about Israel. A small Israeli account responded satirically, using the same headline — and was instantly hit with a Community Note. The result? We’re watching it play out on university campuses. Western students, defenseless against coordinated disinformation attacks from cultures where deception is a virtue, have been completely indoctrinated. Some have even set themselves on fire for the lowest of causes — simply because they believed what they saw online. Below is just one example: an AI-generated fake video posted by the Iranian account Tehran Times. They forgot to remove the watermark — it clearly says VEO, revealing it was made using Google VEO 3. Other accounts were smarter and removed the watermark — and yet, hundreds of millions were misled. After this example, I’ve included 200 screenshots of similar accounts — all from this platform — and they don’t even represent 1% of the accounts that freely spread just a single fake. These anti-Western accounts need fake content — it’s how they compensate for failure, both on the battlefield and in real life. Let them have their illusions. But our Western students deserve better protection. Community Notes is a brilliant initiative. But radicals have already found a way to outmaneuver it — by overwhelming the system with so many fakes that your Notes can’t keep up. It’s an effective tactic. And it’s working. This requires smarter monitoring — the kind that anti-Western extremists won’t bypass so easily. With deep appreciation, — Just one small voice

vPay offshore accounts and physical cards have been getting field-tested IRL for a while now, and we’ll open them to the public as soon as we’re fully confident in the UX. But before offshore accounts go public, I want to address a few points: Some might point out that - vPay isn’t the first crypto card - vPay doesn’t have the lowest fees - So why choose vPay instead of the Coinbase 🛡️ Card or MetaMask 🦊 Card or KAST or or Tria, or any of the other big names? Now to address: Privacy | The biggest differentiator that sets vPay completely apart is Private Banking. The majority of the crypto card providers on the market use Rain infra. Even if you’ve never heard of them, that's what your favorite "NeoBank" uses. And due to their legal jurisdictions, they will report your finances to authorities since they're CRS and FACTA compliant. We are not. As an OmniBank, we work with different banking partners, and although KYC is required to use our services, our offshore banks are non-CRS and non-FACTA. Tax reporting is the responsibility and choice of the user. Offshore Accounts vs Physical Cards | I've tried to highlight this a few times so far. vPay has 3 offerings on the banking side of things. Virtual cards - live now. Physical cards - coming Q1 2026. The first two are similar to what everyone else on the market offers. The offshore accounts are not. which are coming this week. They allow unlimited spending, ATM withdrawals, and international SWIFT transfers, which very few “Neobanks” provide. Offshore accounts are coming this week. Self-Custody | We're not 100% non-custodial yet, as that is near impossible at the moment but it's something we're working towards. And we try to keep the users' self-custodial wallets in the loop as much as possible for maximum control. Those who have tried the vPay app know that almost every move asks for permission from their wallet, and we always encourage users to keep their funds in their non-custodial wallets until the very last moment, since our top-ups usually only take seconds to a minute to process. Fees | All of the card providers mentioned above either raised millions from VCs or in presales or have a huge org backing them. We have neither. vPay was self-funded and community-owned since day 1, launched under Virtuals Protocol Genesis V1 launch model, an objectively bad launch model and hugely unfavorable toward project teams. So even though vPay has been generating revenue and profitable from early on, we do not have the luxury of offering 0% fees yet, since they're mostly a marketing gimmick paid for by millions in VC money and not a sustainable business model for early-stage companies. What we're working towards instead, is true co-ownership of vPay and revenue-share with users. OmniBank vs NeoBank | I’m not a fan of the term “NeoBank.” It implies just a bank, but make it crypto. That’s not vPay. Our goals have always been clear: A) Anything and everything users need to do with their money and assets, both Web2 and Web3, all in one hub. Powered by a constellation of partner agents. The cards and the bank accounts are just the foundation. B) To eventually build independent financial rails for crypto and decouple from the chokehold of Visa/Mastercard. vLink is the first step toward this vision. This turned out to be a rather long tweet, but context matters. Questions and feedback welcome in replies or DMs. See you all with your vPay vCards very soon.

AFRICAN STREAM IS CLOSING DOWN This is, sadly, a farewell to you, our loyal followers and supporters. Under relentless attack, we’ve made the painful decision to shut down African Stream—a platform that many of you’ve come to trust and love. This decision was not made lightly. The smear by then–US Secretary of State Antony Blinken on September 13, 2024, labelling African Stream “Kremlin propagandists”—triggered a wave of censorship. Within days, YouTube, Meta, Google, and TikTok removed our accounts, and we were demonetised on X. These actions shattered our ability to survive financially. Personal accounts were restricted. What followed was a daily uphill battle. Now, we’re left with only one path: closure. We are deeply grateful for your unwavering support. Your comments, your messages, your shares—you made us stronger, sharper, and more determined. We are deeply proud of the work we’ve done since 2022: bringing attention to the most underreported and misrepresented continent. The imperalists want to perpetuate the dominant narrative that Africa is underdeveloped due to corruption and the mismanagement of resources. They want to remove colonialism, neo-colonialism and imperialism from the picture. We refused to play by those rules. For that, we paid the price. But it’s a price we would pay again and again. Refusing to play by their rules led to NBC saying we spread ‘disinformation’ without providing a single example of what ‘disinformation’ we shared. Voice of America condemned us for reporting a fact: since the George W. Bush administration, every US president has authorised drone strikes on Somalia. As we responded to every smear piece, we just grew bigger and stronger until, finally, those in positions of power realised the smears weren’t working, and the rest is history. We will cease posting as of July 1, 2025, except for a few remaining documentaries from Liberia and Mali. With your support, we managed to ruffle many feathers. Please continue the fight and keep the Pan-African flag flying. Thank you for helping us build African Stream. As we always say: #WeAreAllAfricanStream.
