What are the different ways of doing Intermittent Fasting? 1. Fixed feeding and fasting windows on daily basis, such as 6 or 8 hours of eating window and 18 or 16 hours of fasting windows, respectively. One is permitted to consume black coffee, green tea, lemon water (without sugar) and water during the fasting window. Do not add milk or sugar to your coffee or tea. 2. Alternate day fasting. One day of normal feeding/eating as desired, followed by fasting the next day and repeating this cycle on a regular basis. On fasting days, up to 500 calories consumption is permitted. 3. 5:2 pattern of intermittent fasting. Eating normally on 5 days, and fasting on two days (every week). You can choose whichever two days of the week you prefer, as long as there is at least one non-fasting day in between them. On fasting days, up to 500 calories intake is permitted. #intermittentfasting #fasting
