🤦‍♂️ Another day. Another Labour MP. Another CAR CRASH interview. This time it was Financial Secretary to the Treasury James Murray on LBC, who appeared to know next to nothing about the Treasury’s own finances, much to Nick Ferrari’s mounting bemusement. Murray was busy boasting about removing VAT from...

Clueless Policing Minister Sarah Jones completely falls apart under Nick Ferrari’s questioning 🤦‍♂️ In a painful LBC interview, Sarah Jones was asked a straightforward question about the Hampshire officers who handcuffed dying 18-year-old Henry Nowak as he bled out from multiple stab wounds, after wrongly treating the stabbed student as the aggressor. Nick Ferrari: “It’s reported the officers involved won’t be referred for misconduct. Why is that?” Jones immediately stammers and hides behind the IOPC investigation. Ferrari presses: “As of now they haven’t been referred for misconduct? Are they still serving on frontline duties?” Again, nothing. Just more IOPC deflection. Ferrari: “Why can’t you tell me whether they’re still on the frontline? Don’t the people of Southampton have a right to know?” Jones keeps parroting the same line about the IOPC “looking at footage, talking to officers, talking to the family…” Ferrari, clearly fed up: “Minister, I asked whether they’re still serving frontline duties. Do you know whether they are or not?” Jones starts the IOPC script again. Ferrari cuts her off: “But do you know whether they’re still on the frontline, Minister?!” Flustered and stuttering, she mumbles something about speaking to the chief constable. Ferrari: “Have you asked the chief constable? It’s causing concern. You don’t know, do you?” Then comes the most ridiculous line of all: Jones admits she does know the answer… but she won’t tell the public because “an investigation is ongoing.” What the actual f*ck? This has nothing to do with prejudicing an investigation. It’s a basic yes or no: Are these officers still out on the streets policing the public right now? The people of Hampshire and Southampton deserve to know. This is what we get from this government, a Policing Minister who either doesn’t know what’s happening in her own brief or is too scared to say it. Pathetic.

🤦‍♂️ Justice Minister’s car-crash interview with Nick Ferrari exposes the emptiness of Labour’s “smash the gangs” slogan Labour love a good slogan. “Smash the gangs” sounds tough. But when Nick Ferrari actually asked for the numbers, Justice Minister Jake had nothing. Nick went straight in on small boat crossings: how many smuggling gangs have been dismantled, and how many arrests have been made? Jake started talking about “smashing the gangs”. Nick immediately cut in: “How many gangs have you smashed?” Jake panicked and deflected: “Well… We’ve stopped tens of thousands of attempted crossings…” Nick: “But how many gangs have you smashed?” Jake, already stuttering: “Arrests of members of these gangs have gone up?” Nick: “Well how many have been arrested then, Minister? Let’s do that.” Jake could barely get the words out at this point: “Well Nick, let’s… let’s deal with the end result of the problem.” Nick, clearly frustrated: “Minister, you just said you are smashing the gangs. How many people have been arrested?” Jake tried another deflection: “Nick, there’s been a number of arrests, but the proof is in the pudding.” Nick wasn’t having it: “What’s the number? 10? 20? 1,000?” Jake, visibly flustered: “I don’t have that number for you, but I have another number…” Nick cuts him off again: “Well you’re not smashing the gangs at all! They’re still trading!” Jake tries switching to safer ground: “This July is the lowest number of boat crossings for six years. We’ve seen around a 40% reduction compared to last year.” Nick’s gives him a reality check: “Over 2,000 people have arrived since Mr Burnham moved into Number 10!” Jake: “We’ve got a lot more to do but we are heading in the right direction.” Nick drops another reality check: “170 people nearly burnt to death on the Channel! How’s that headline in the right direction?” Jake: “Because fewer people are attempting to cross.” Nick: “But we don’t know how many traffickers have been arrested?” Jake: “I don’t have that figure for you.” Nick: “Why not? You’re the one who said you’re smashing the gangs, not me!” 😬 Painful to listen to. Fair play to Nick Ferrari for sticking with it and exposing just how empty the slogan really is when it’s put to the test.

Nick Offerman said people still call him Ron Swanson, and some are so intimidated they approach him shaking and scared. Nick Offerman: And you’re just like, “You guys, that was a long time…” Amy Poehler: That was a long, you know, my son just turned 17, which is when we started the show. Seventeen years ago. Nick Offerman: Holy cow. Amy Poehler: And, I know, think about that. Nick Offerman: (laughs) Amy Poehler: And, the fact that there’s still, people are still dressing up for Ron Swanson at Halloween. I mean, he is, he is this person that people feel con— what is it like, almost 20 years later, interacting with that kind of work? Like, how do people interact with you? Nick Offerman: It’s interesting. I mean, mostly, first of all, I’m so stupidly grateful, like from star— soup to nuts. And also, people are so nice to me and respectful, I think of Ron, like, people approach me with a deference… Amy Poehler: (laughs) Nick Offerman: …and also a little fear. Amy Poehler: Yeah. Nick Offerman: Um, but they’re, they are really polite to me where I, I usually have to say, “Please call me Nick,” or, you know, because they’re shaking and they’re scared.

Lou Williams says Kobe Bryant interrupted D’Angelo Russell’s apology to Nick Young and told the Lakers, “Cut all this Kumbaya shit. We got a game to play” “When Nick and DLo were going through their thing, I had to deal with a lot of it because I was the vet in the locker room and I was present. I remember DLo calling me, and he was like, ‘OG, I fucked up.’ Yeah, you fucked up. I said, ‘You got to call Nick. Y’all got to get that right’” “So we put it out that we was going to have a team meeting right before the game for DLo to address the team, address Nick, apologize, wash our hands with it and try to move on. Everybody is in the lounge. We chilling out. Nick comes in, DLo comes in, the whole team, everybody sits down, minus Kobe. He’s probably in the building. He’s just not interested in what the fuck we got going on” “DLo is starting his speech, and honestly, it’s helping. We breaking the wall down because people don’t realize for like two or three weeks, it was a lot of tension. They really wanted to have a fight. Nick couldn’t even come around. So we finally got them to get in the same room and have a conversation. And DLo was going through his whole thing, ‘I apologize. I took it too far,’ this and that” “Everybody kind of chipping in, and it’s a good moment for us because we’ve been having our struggles a little bit. Kobe walks clean through the meeting and says, ‘Hey man, cut all this Kumbaya shit. We got a game to play.’ It just squashes the meeting, and everybody looked around like, ‘Well, let’s get ready to play basketball’”

Rob Gronkowski says Tom Brady told him he would never throw him the ball again after he ran the wrong route during practice his rookie year “I didn’t really like him my rookie year. He was just getting on my case nonstop, and it was kind of mind fucking me so much that I couldn’t be myself out there sometimes. I couldn’t run the right route because I was just thinking so much. There was just so much on the plate at first. I got a coach telling me to do this, I got Tom telling me to do this, and then finally, you just figure it out and it all clicks” “It took me about halfway through my rookie year, and then obviously, going into my second year, it clicked to a whole other level. We went for 21 touchdowns total, including the playoffs. But my rookie year, he was on my case. I remember I ran a flag route, and I ran inside the guy instead of getting outside of him. He flipped out on me in the meeting after practice and told me he’s never going to throw me the ball again” “I got butt hurt and Alge Crumpler saw it too. He just tapped on my thigh. He was like, ‘Yo, Gronk, don’t worry about that. Tom’s just being Tom. Keep doing you.’ Then it kind of put a fire under my ass. That’s what Tom was so great at doing. I didn’t really realize that’s what he was doing either. He was just trying to get the best out of you, and it lit a fire under my ass” “Then I just wanted to prove Tom wrong. Like, ‘All right, I’m going to run this flag route every time now, and you’re never going to throw me the ball, but I’m going to be open by five yards, and you’re going to look like the idiot now.’ That happened, and then he threw me the ball about 600 more times from there on out”

🚨ANGELA RAYNER: THE CLUELESS BUFFOON LINED UP TO REPLACE KEIR STARMER? 🤨 With Pressure Mounting On Starmer, Labour’s Rumoured Replacement Is Even Worse! 🤦‍♂️ With the pressure increasing on Keir Starmer by the day, the rumoured replacement waiting in the wings is Angela Rayner. Don’t get your hopes up that things will improve anytime soon, because she is absolutely clueless. I’ve no idea how she’s even considered by the Labour Party as a potential leader. It tells you everything about the dire state of the party today. Just watch this shambolic LBC interview with Nick Ferrari about classroom sizes. She launches into talking about how class sizes over 30 impact children’s learning, but she hasn’t got a clue about anything. Nick asks what should have been a very simple question: how many children does this affect? She is immediately stumped. She has absolutely no idea and just starts waffling nonsense about “variants” in class sizes over 30, some even over 40, and that it’s “quite a substantial amount”. He presses her: is it 50 children? 5,000 children? 5 million children? She ridiculously replies that it’s a significant number and says, “I’m not just going to pluck a number out of thin air”. Nick fires back, “I’m not asking you to!” He reminds her: you’re the Shadow Education Secretary. This is one of your key pledges. You should know this stuff. Nick then gives her the actual Department for Education figure: over 520,000 primary school pupils in England in classes of 31 or more. She astonishingly snaps back, “I’m not gonna play that numbers game with you!” Yet she went on to talk about NUMBERS! And about class sizes affecting children’s learning. That’s the whole point! For the final question, he asks how many of those are in reception classes. The line goes silent until she starts laughing and says, “You tell me,” because again she hasn’t got a bloody clue. This clueless buffoon could soon be Prime Minister. We’re doomed! 😬

🔥 DOUGLAS MURRAY CLASHES WITH BBC IN TENSE SHOWDOWN OVER ISLAM IN THE UK Murray Schools BBC Political Editor Nick Watt on the Dangers of Unchecked Islamic Extremism ☪️ Douglas Murray calmly but precisely dismantles BBC Newsnight’s Nick Watt who challenges him on calling for “less Islam” in Britain due to the threat of Islamic extremism. BBC: “Surely ‘less Islam’ means less Muslims? Less Sajid Javid, less Sadiq Khan… anyone who’s a Muslim?” Murray: “It would also mean less people like the Abedi family. Wouldn’t it?” BBC: “Yes, less extremists, but you’re talking about less Islam - that is Muslim people.” Murray (calmly and bluntly): “Just bear with me, because I know better than you what I think.” He continues: “This country has had a wildly stupid and lax immigration policy for decades. We allowed in people like the Abedi family, a family of jihadists. One of their sons, Salman Abedi, aged 22, killed 22 young girls at the Manchester Arena with a suicide bomb. Why were the Abedi family even here?” “Jihadist extremism comes from Islam. If even 1%, 5%, or 15% of Muslims follow that strain, you’ve got a hell of a problem. The more people you have from a faith that hasn’t solved the extremism in its midst, the more extremism you will have.” “You don’t get this from Catholics, Methodists, Quakers or Anglicans.” When the presenter tried to interrupt and accused him of stereotyping, Murray hit back: “Of course it’s not stereotyping! This is a dated conversation. Nobody is as slow in learning as the British media and political class on this issue.” “Why do we have thousands of people marching through British cities every weekend supporting death cults that would murder Jews and the rest of us? That’s the question you and Newsnight should be answering.” Unflinching truth. Take a few minutes to watch the full clip. It’s well worth it.
