As per Dean of LPU Sorabh Lakhanpal, "When the students brought this matter to our attention, we decided it needed to be treated seriously. However, as we delved deeper into the issue, we formed the impression that this is entirely rumor-driven. We met the students' demands as they arose; for instance, they wanted to view the CCTV footage. One of the members' from the delegation says, "Our position is clear, we stand firmly with the protesting students and support their demands. We have no new demands of our own. They have accepted our demands and said that they agree on it. They have given us 2-day time and said that they will then make us meet the Nihang Sikhs who are under house arrest. After we meet them and their family, we will discuss the further strategy. I think all of us who have some public responsibility need to stand with the students and understand the kind of difficulty and suffering they are going through. Every paper is leaked, and they are under pressure to perform. Their parents are taking loans to educate them and are suffering financially to support their education. Yet there is no outcome. So, it's a deep systemic problem. We all need to work together to resolve it. The issue of paper leaks is not happening in just one exam; it's happening in every single exam. We all really need to stand with them, show them support, and bring about change. : Congress General Secretary & MP Smt. Priyanka Gandhi Vadra ji on LoP Shri Rahul Gandhi's campaign to address problems faced by students & his visit to Kota for a student convention.

Two female IDF soldiers are chased by a mob of Haredi men in Bnei Brak before they are extracted by police. The servcieowmen serve with the Education Corps, and were in the ultra-Orthodox city as part of a home visit to one of their soldiers. They are not with the Military Police, contrary to some claims. Footage circulating on social media shows the two women running as they are escorted by police, as a large crowd of men chases after them. Trash cans are knocked over as the rioting group follows the women through the street in the Haredi-majority city. The crowd also overturned a police car. Police say in statement that the situation is now under control after the two soldiers were extracted from the area. The IDF has not yet commented.

Some parents was criticizing this teacher in Texas for throwing his students a pizza party. He gives all of his students a slice of pizza and a drink for free. However if they want more, he charges them $2 a slice and $1 a drink. At the end of the day, everyone in his class was able to enjoy a free piece of pizza and a drink. He bought extra to sell to make his money back and that’s where some parents had an issue. Do you feel he was trying to scam his students or was he just doing the best he can because many teachers don’t make allot?

The Chief Minister has constituted the committee; K. Raju has set it up, and we have opened the door for dialogue. Talks will take place; we will listen to your demands, and if they are reasonable, we will certainly accept them. A golden opportunity has been provided for the students. They are our students, our children. I am aware that you are in distress. However, the BJP's visit there is beyond comprehension. They are playing politics; if they were truly well-wishers, they should have been in Delhi… What does the BJP know about pain? They only want politics. We oppose this.” He adds on the weather situation in the state, “I have gone into high-alert mode. I have instructed all Deputy Commissioners (DCs) and written letters asking for details on the incidents in each district, specifically regarding loss of life and property, and the number of casualties. Once the report arrives, we will reach out to the affected people. We will ensure that the financial assistance provided under the Disaster Management Department reaches them within a week.”

This is Rishi Sunak saying everything about universities that I have dedicated my platform to. Universities are OVERRATED!!! 90-95% of the students studying Microbiology, Biochemistry, Botany etc were rejected by Medicine, Nursing etc and dumped into these departments to study those courses. Students who set out to study LAW suddenly find their names on CRS, Islamic studies etc merit list. The Universities are ripping them off! They graduate from these courses and there’s nowhere they want to apply the knowledge either home or abroad. There are 1.8 million students in Nigerian universities!!! 1.8 students!!! What are they studying? Most of them become self-made WhatsApp business entrepreneurs or eventually go back to learn skills. So, 4years+x of their lives wasted gaining unnecessary knowledge all because the university wants to rip them off and their parents wants them to attend the university by “tipa tipa by fire” so they can brag. We don’t need MORE universities or university graduates, we need more vocational education institutions. We need to stop these universities from churning out empty heads with certificates and start thinking how we can train them with real life skills. Dear Bola Ahmed Tinubu for your attention.

I strongly deplore the inhumane treatment of Nepali students at KIIT University by the authorities after the unfortunate suicide of a girl student. It cannot be condoned under any circumstances. Instead of explaining the situation to the students and keeping them calm and safe and maintaining the educational environment of the campus, it is extremely shameful that the authorities abuse them with rude language, beat them up and intimidate them. Children from our state are also studying in other countries. We should treat foreign students with decency and they should return home not only with a degree but also with good memories. The image of Odisha and other educational institutions should not be tarnished because of the misbehaviour of one institute. The Odisha BJP govt 's silence on this situation is also highly suspicious. #kiituniversity #student_lives_matter

#WATCH | On Delhi's Old Rajinder Nagar Coaching Centre incident, AAP MP Swati Maliwal says, "The students are very sad and angry. It has been more than 12 hours, till now neither any minister of Delhi government has come, nor the mayor of MCD, nor any officer. I believe that these deaths are not a disaster, this is a murder, an FIR should be registered against all these big government officials. It is not yet known whether 3 have died or more have died. Compensation of Rs 1 crore should be given to all the students who have died...The minister, Mayor should come here immediately and apologize to them. Delhi will not run like this. I will raise this issue in Parliament. I will keep all the demands of students in Parliament... The students are saying that 12 days ago they had informed the councillor that the drain system here is bad, so the councillor and all the people above him should answer."
