SICKENING: AOC Just showed off the Georgia drinking water from Meta's AI Data Centers. Thank you Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez: "This is the current drinking water in Morgan County, Georgia. Right after a data center was constructed, the metadata center was constructed, the only difference between the clean water and this was that data center. I have another one as well. So this wasn't just one well, these wasn't just one family's situation. This is what the drinking water now looks like next to that data center. And I think both of us can agree that neither one of these things are drinkable. These families now have to ship, in a rural area, have to ship water to their house in order to cook and bathe themselves."

During a House hearing with Assistant EPA Administrator Jessica Kramer on Wednesday, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) pulled out two jars of brown water she said was taken near a Meta data center in Morgan County, Georgia, after it was constructed. AOC went on to describe how families in the rural area near the data center now have to ship in water for bathing, cooking and drinking, noting that “the only difference between the clean water and this was that data center.” Addressing the assistant administrator for water at the EPA directly, Rep. Ocasio-Cortez said, "I think both of us can agree that neither one of these things are drinkable."

DATA CENTER DOOMER: AOC claims Meta's Morgan County, GA data center poisoned groundwater & turned wells brown. The facility uses NO groundwater. Meta buys its water from Newton County's utility. She's repeating lies from anti-data center NGOs funded by China. Meta, like ALL hyperscalers is building its entire data center fleet to be "water positive" - restoring more water than they consume in the watersheds where they operate.

NEW: Amazon is building their largest data center in Indiana. Neighbors say the company is using up the drinking water they rely on. This is just one of the data center fights unfolding across the country. Communities everywhere are up in arms against this Big Tech invasion.

BREAKING: Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez just got an EPA administrator to commit to investigate water quality around data center builds. Last week, AOC joined More Perfect Union on a trip to Morgan County, Georgia, where she met with residents living near a site that will host a massive Meta data center. Residents haven't had clean well water since the construction project began.

You can’t make this up - META built their massive data center in Georgia - They ignored a residents complaint of brown water for 7 years - After it went viral, META sent out a representative. But it was all for show The resident says after META left they came to the determination that their data center had nothing to do with her water situation…. That started right when they built their data center…. Timeline of events - Meta broke ground on a $750 million+ data center - Shortly after construction began (including land clearing and blasting), their private well water started having severe problems: low pressure, heavy sediment and mud and discoloration - They’ve had to replace multiple appliances including 2 washing machines, dishwasher, hot water heater due to sediment buildup clogging pipes and equipment They now rely on bottled water for drinking and cooking. They have to use store water for basic needs like flushing toilets It’s META’s fault

Meta has a 2 MILLION square foot data center in Mansfield, Georgia. 📈 Neighbors are seeing sediment in their drinking water, along with low water pressure. 🚰 💧 They say electricity and water bills have climbed — and that constant noise from the facility is affecting their health.

Georgia is basically turning into one large data center Get ready for this, there is no legal obligation for data centers to disclose how much water they will be using - Georgia currently has about 162 data centers already - They have an additional 141 new data centers planned - Combined these data centers will use 12+ GW or more of power, this is equivalent to the usage of 10 MILLION homes - Combined water usage estimate of 35+ billion gallons per year or higher Absolutely insane There is no comprehensive federal requirement for data centers to publicly report detailed water usage. A bill was introduced called “the Data Center Water and Energy Transparency Act” to mandate reporting of energy and water consumption to states and the EPA This is an issue, here’s one example The Quality Technology Services data center in Fayette County used 29–30 million gallons of water went unmetered and unbilled for months without initial detection. Residents complained about low pressure during drought conditions. The company later paid retroactively $150,000 but faced no fines

🚨 Georgia residents are showing what happened to their water after Meta began building a massive data center AOC brought two jars of murky brown water to Congress. People living near Stanton Springs now buy bottled water even for showering, while water bills have jumped by 33%. Residents say the problems started after forest clearing and explosive blasting began. Meta denies responsibility, saying an independent report found the water safe. AOC is now demanding an EPA investigation.

This is what the tap water looks like in Salado, Texas This water filter was changed one day ago, this is what it looks like after only one day…. The brown rusty looking water in Salado is caused by having the mineral manganese in the water source in the area From what I can find Officials and the utility companies have repeatedly stated the water meets safety standards and is not harmful to drink They say manganese is more of an aesthetic issue and nuisance than a health violation under current EPA rules The residents strongly disagree because of its appearance and odor Elevated manganese in water can have a rotten-egg or musty smell. It can even cause staining of laundry
