SICKENING: AOC Just showed off the Georgia drinking water from Meta's AI Data Centers. Thank you Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez: "This is the current drinking water in Morgan County, Georgia. Right after a data center was constructed, the metadata center was constructed, the only difference between the clean water and this was that data center. I have another one as well. So this wasn't just one well, these wasn't just one family's situation. This is what the drinking water now looks like next to that data center. And I think both of us can agree that neither one of these things are drinkable. These families now have to ship, in a rural area, have to ship water to their house in order to cook and bathe themselves."

BREAKING: Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez just got an EPA administrator to commit to investigate water quality around data center builds. Last week, AOC joined More Perfect Union on a trip to Morgan County, Georgia, where she met with residents living near a site that will host a massive Meta data center. Residents haven't had clean well water since the construction project began.

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-New York) questioned the EPA's Jessica Kramer on data centers' effects on clean drinking water. Majorities of Americans now oppose construction of data centers in their communities, a survey found.

This is what drinking water in Georgia looks like after Meta began data center construction in the community. Today I called for EPA and Congressional investigations into the impact of data center construction on local drinking water supplies. We cannot take water for granted.

EXCLUSIVE: Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez calls for a congressional investigation into the impact of data centers. We took her to meet residents in a Trump +50 county in Georgia whose well water was polluted by Meta’s massive data center. “That absolutely merits...national congressional investigation."

🚨 Georgia residents are showing what happened to their water after Meta began building a massive data center AOC brought two jars of murky brown water to Congress. People living near Stanton Springs now buy bottled water even for showering, while water bills have jumped by 33%. Residents say the problems started after forest clearing and explosive blasting began. Meta denies responsibility, saying an independent report found the water safe. AOC is now demanding an EPA investigation.

⚡️AOC lays out vision for peeling MAHA voters away from Trump The EPA has not gotten back to Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) since she exposed its administrator, Lee Zeldin, for meeting with Bayer-Monsanto about their legal issues on glyphosate in a House Energy and Commerce Committee hearing Tuesday. Zeldin testified under oath earlier in the hearing that he had not met with those executives, but said the meetings were “brief” after Ocasio-Cortez pointed out his perjurious lie. AOC told Drop Site’s Julian Andreone that she thinks Democrats can win back MAHA voters, saying, “There is very real, deep and persistent corruption in poisoning American communities.” Julian Andreone | Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez

You can’t make this up - META built their massive data center in Georgia - They ignored a residents complaint of brown water for 7 years - After it went viral, META sent out a representative. But it was all for show The resident says after META left they came to the determination that their data center had nothing to do with her water situation…. That started right when they built their data center…. Timeline of events - Meta broke ground on a $750 million+ data center - Shortly after construction began (including land clearing and blasting), their private well water started having severe problems: low pressure, heavy sediment and mud and discoloration - They’ve had to replace multiple appliances including 2 washing machines, dishwasher, hot water heater due to sediment buildup clogging pipes and equipment They now rely on bottled water for drinking and cooking. They have to use store water for basic needs like flushing toilets It’s META’s fault

“I think they're shutting it down because they can't fill the seats,” Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez said about President Trump's closure of the Kennedy Center. But Sen. Josh Hawley denied the closure was related to that and said it was to upgrade the space.

Georgia is basically turning into one large data center Get ready for this, there is no legal obligation for data centers to disclose how much water they will be using - Georgia currently has about 162 data centers already - They have an additional 141 new data centers planned - Combined these data centers will use 12+ GW or more of power, this is equivalent to the usage of 10 MILLION homes - Combined water usage estimate of 35+ billion gallons per year or higher Absolutely insane There is no comprehensive federal requirement for data centers to publicly report detailed water usage. A bill was introduced called “the Data Center Water and Energy Transparency Act” to mandate reporting of energy and water consumption to states and the EPA This is an issue, here’s one example The Quality Technology Services data center in Fayette County used 29–30 million gallons of water went unmetered and unbilled for months without initial detection. Residents complained about low pressure during drought conditions. The company later paid retroactively $150,000 but faced no fines

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) told reporters that she did not think that Democrats are ignoring the controversies surrounding Democrat Graham Platner, who is seeking to take on incumbent GOP Sen. Susan Collins in Maine despite his recent string of scandals. “I think that this is, frankly, an election for the people of Maine,” Ocasio-Cortez said. “Their results and the ways that they turn out today, I think, will speak for themselves and their preferences.”

This data center in Georgia STOLE around 30 MILLION gallons of water with a secret water tap they never told the local utilities about. We need real accountability for big tech data centers out here STEALING water to build a mass surveillance state that none of us even want.

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez said Tuesday that there's "a real lack of transparency as to what these data centers and what these technology companies are actually doing." She raised concerns about what she said are surveillance systems "being established to track every American, and I think that also requires a lot of data." "I think Americans deserve to know what this infrastructure, in specificity, is being used by and for," she said.

Erin Brockovich is sounding the alarm on the impact data centers are having on rural communities' water supply. “These big data centers are coming into rural areas of farmland where a lot of people are on their own well water.” “They report a reduction in water pressure. Their water is just dripping into a bucket.” “They’re very concerned that they could lose their aquifers, and they could literally be out of water.” As AI drives a massive data center boom, many rural communities are raising concerns about depleted aquifers, falling water pressure, and growing strain on local water supplies. Rural families should not be forced to compete with massive corporations for access to clean water and other essential resources. Erin Brockovich

🚨 JUST IN: Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis has just BANNED AI data centers from using up all the water needed by citizens during a drought And the law BANS utility companies from charging higher prices because of data centers "How are you going to say that somehow the water can go to a data center when we need to water for our own people and for the core functions of our society?"

American is miles away from data centers in Michigan and says her tap water is completely brown and unusable “This is crazy. I'm witnessing this with my own two eyes right now. I'm back in Michigan and I'm north of a bunch of data centers, and the water here, all those are miles north — There's brown water in the toilets, brown water in the sinks, brown data center water. It blew my mind. It blew my mind. It is no myth. And these people have to just deal with that. With their water just being brown? Once again, crimes against humanity. These are basic human rights. Because you best believe I'm gonna say stay stinky today because I can't shower in that. No way.” She’s telling the truth, I’ve found proof data centers can affect water like this from over 5 miles away Pumping for cooling or construction dewatering can lower water tables and stir sediment/iron/manganese in private wells, causing brown and discolored water Blasting and site work cause sediment pollution leading to brown water in nearby wells or surface sources, as seen near Meta’s Georgia facility Chemically treated blowdown and thermal pollution can also affect downstream river s and lakes So much for the climate change environmentalists…
