You can’t make this up - META built their massive data center in Georgia - They ignored a residents complaint of brown water for 7 years - After it went viral, META sent out a representative. But it was all for show The resident says after META left they... came to the determination that their data center had nothing to do with her water situation…. That started right when they built their data center…. Timeline of events - Meta broke ground on a $750 million+ data center - Shortly after construction began (including land clearing and blasting), their private well water started having severe problems: low pressure, heavy sediment and mud and discoloration - They’ve had to replace multiple appliances including 2 washing machines, dishwasher, hot water heater due to sediment buildup clogging pipes and equipment They now rely on bottled water for drinking and cooking. They have to use store water for basic needs like flushing toilets It’s META’s faultshow more

🚨 Georgia residents are showing what happened to their water after Meta began building a massive data center AOC brought two jars of murky brown water to Congress. People living near Stanton Springs now buy bottled water even for showering, while water bills have jumped by 33%. Residents say the problems started after forest clearing and explosive blasting began. Meta denies responsibility, saying an independent report found the water safe. AOC is now demanding an EPA investigation.

Mark Zuckerberg recently built a MASSIVE data center for META in Georgia - There are residential homes just hundreds of yards away - It uses so much water, residents no longer have water pressure in their homes - Their sink water no longer works - Their toilets don’t fill with water - Their homes physically shake from the constant new construction - The data centers use so much power they often go without power - The small amount of water they do get to their homes is full of sentiment “It's overwhelming because you really feel like you are up against this huge wall that you can't penetrate. There's nothing that you can do and they don't care.”

Residents are outraged that their water will be given to a new Amazon 290 acre data center in Tucson Arizona You’re not going to believe this, sitting on their city council is the woman who worked on META’s data center team for the last 6 years. Now she’ll approve giving away residents water to this new data center They always put their people right where they need them to approve their projects

Meta’s big data center in Mansfield, Georgia—about 400 yards from some homes. Residents on well water say construction stirred up sediment that clogs their wells, tanks, and pipes. Water pressure dropped so low sinks barely run, toilets won’t refill without buckets, and the water’s now full of residue. This couple, Beverly and Jeff Morris, had to replace multiple appliances and spent thousands fixing plumbing, but they’re still scared to drink the tap water. Houses also shake from the operations, and power flickers a lot.

The Morrises have a 2M-square-foot data center 400 yards from their Mansfield, GA home. They have extremely low water pressure and have to store water just to flush the toilets. There is sediment in the water, and the system needs replacing at $20K. All trees have been taken down around the center, and light floods into their windows at night. The couple was there first and moved to the property to retire but now live this nightmare.

SICKENING: AOC Just showed off the Georgia drinking water from Meta's AI Data Centers. Thank you Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez: "This is the current drinking water in Morgan County, Georgia. Right after a data center was constructed, the metadata center was constructed, the only difference between the clean water and this was that data center. I have another one as well. So this wasn't just one well, these wasn't just one family's situation. This is what the drinking water now looks like next to that data center. And I think both of us can agree that neither one of these things are drinkable. These families now have to ship, in a rural area, have to ship water to their house in order to cook and bathe themselves."

We have the worst drought in 26 years. We’re telling farmers they can’t water their crops, but Mark Zuckerberg and George Soros can come here and build a Data Center and use 500,000 gallons of water. No. We are going to stop the Data Center invasion.

Erin Brockovich is sounding the alarm on the impact data centers are having on rural communities' water supply. “These big data centers are coming into rural areas of farmland where a lot of people are on their own well water.” “They report a reduction in water pressure. Their water is just dripping into a bucket.” “They’re very concerned that they could lose their aquifers, and they could literally be out of water.” As AI drives a massive data center boom, many rural communities are raising concerns about depleted aquifers, falling water pressure, and growing strain on local water supplies. Rural families should not be forced to compete with massive corporations for access to clean water and other essential resources. Erin Brockovich

Meet Joe and Robin Williams of Holly Ridge, Louisiana. Meta is buidling their Hyperion data center, bigger than Manhattan, next to their property. Their water often smells like bleach and looks like coffee. They gave their dog tap water, and she got very sick. She got better as soon as he went on bottled water. They are retirees who use bottled water for everything at their own expense. There is so much dust in the air constantly that they have developed breathing problems. It was the same all over town. It's been this way for more than a year and a half. They had no idea any of this was coming, no consent, their *elected leaders* all signed NDAs. How is this even remotely OK? You might want data centers, but how can anyone support this?? This is plainly and simply wrong by any measure.

This is OUTRAGEOUS 🚨 Denver, Colorado resident shows a brand new data center was built next to her neighborhood. Democrats put residents on a water restriction, they can’t water their yards until next summer Meanwhile the Data Center’s sprinklers are on watering their lawn outside their facility This is just the absolute perfect display of where we are right now as a country “This is the new AI data center that they just built right next to my house. We can't water our lawns until next summer at the earliest, but you better believe that they are watering their entire green with so many sprinklers that it's literally making a giant pond. But I can't water my f*cking tomatoes. I hate it here.” Right now in Denver: - Outdoor watering limited to two assigned days per week, only before 10 am or after 6 pm - Starting October 1, 2026 watering of all grass and any spray irrigation is banned. That ban is indefinite. Denver Water said it will last at least through next spring, with 2027 summer rules depending on snowpack Meanwhile this data center clearly is allowed to water its yard with no problems…

American Farmers are speaking out against META’s new Louisiana data center Farmers say this 2,500 acre data center is going to deplete their water system - The data center will require millions of gallons of water DAILY from local aquifers - The facility demands up to 2 gigawatts of power, leading Entergy Louisiana to build 3 new natural gas plants - 90% of the town’s residents income comes from farming “Our farmers around here really rely on the water system for irrigating their crops and stuff like that. If they deplete the water system, that's gonna be a big problem — In a sense, it feels like they come take advantage of us poor dumb rural folks, you know.” “This data center is gonna use about three times the energy that New Orleans uses in a year.” Residents are worried this is going to skyrocket their electric bills “This being large farming community here in Northeast Louisiana. We're giving our most valuable resource, which is farmland. I want to know what is META doing to give back to the community.”

American is miles away from data centers in Michigan and says her tap water is completely brown and unusable “This is crazy. I'm witnessing this with my own two eyes right now. I'm back in Michigan and I'm north of a bunch of data centers, and the water here, all those are miles north — There's brown water in the toilets, brown water in the sinks, brown data center water. It blew my mind. It blew my mind. It is no myth. And these people have to just deal with that. With their water just being brown? Once again, crimes against humanity. These are basic human rights. Because you best believe I'm gonna say stay stinky today because I can't shower in that. No way.” She’s telling the truth, I’ve found proof data centers can affect water like this from over 5 miles away Pumping for cooling or construction dewatering can lower water tables and stir sediment/iron/manganese in private wells, causing brown and discolored water Blasting and site work cause sediment pollution leading to brown water in nearby wells or surface sources, as seen near Meta’s Georgia facility Chemically treated blowdown and thermal pollution can also affect downstream river s and lakes So much for the climate change environmentalists…

Georgia is basically turning into one large data center Get ready for this, there is no legal obligation for data centers to disclose how much water they will be using - Georgia currently has about 162 data centers already - They have an additional 141 new data centers planned - Combined these data centers will use 12+ GW or more of power, this is equivalent to the usage of 10 MILLION homes - Combined water usage estimate of 35+ billion gallons per year or higher Absolutely insane There is no comprehensive federal requirement for data centers to publicly report detailed water usage. A bill was introduced called “the Data Center Water and Energy Transparency Act” to mandate reporting of energy and water consumption to states and the EPA This is an issue, here’s one example The Quality Technology Services data center in Fayette County used 29–30 million gallons of water went unmetered and unbilled for months without initial detection. Residents complained about low pressure during drought conditions. The company later paid retroactively $150,000 but faced no fines
