Apparently, standing against genocide is a fireable offense for Lyft . This weekend, Lyft fired our member Sergei for having a “US Jews Say Ceasefire” sign in his backseat, stripping him of his livelihood over a single person who was “uncomfortable.”

We are aware of the situation and have already reached out to Sergei to offer our assistance. After review, we have reactivated Sergei’s account and will continue to work with him to make sure he is fully supported.

@lyft Thanks @Lyft for taking a firm stance against antisemitism! This man had no right to use your platform to spread his toxic hatred against Jews.

@lyft The courts will be busy. Total rubbish from @lyft

@lyft This is so sad!! He should sue them for wrongful dismissal. I wonder how many others they have done this to?!

@lyft you know what's uncomfortable, @lyft? surviving an initial israeli airstrike and then dying a slow, agonizing death over the course of days or weeks under the rubble, screaming for help and hearing people walk by you, unable to help, because israel is stopping aid from entering

@RadicalJesus44 @lyft This demonstrates the power that Zionism has over our society, our employment, and our lives… They threaten to put people out of work if they don’t support genocide… And here, they have put a “Jewish person”, out of work to punish them for opposing genocide. Just as they say

@lyft Shame on @lyft

@lyft Shameful! @lyft should be renamed to Zyft - ride sharing for genocidal Zionists only.

@TwaijG @lyft Cool, makes me "uncomfortable" to use Lyft!

@lyft Lyft, please do explain why asking for the stopping of babies being blown up is so troublesome to you that you fired this man?
