Oh boy. I went 60 Grand and debt for a studio art degree from a private Catholic University... I had an emphasis in graphic design that required only two or three classes on a computer. Biggest waste of money in my life. This sounds worse...

100k + for this. Could honestly hire a couple mentors already killing it in the space for 5k or less & get 100x the value.

I make Ai videos for social media and just landed 2 brand deals that were looking for influencers. I sent them AI generated videos of influencers selling their products. Told them I could replace their whole roster. My goal is to put every influencer out of business.

These dopes will go into massive debt over this and document their struggle and regret on a YouTube video that gets 32 views. And then watch some kid become a millionaire by shitting in public places then hiding in bushes and filming people's reactions when they come across it.

I don't think it is necessarily a bad thing, I just don't want taxpayers on the hook for the tuition of the 99% of the enrollees who never make a living from what they were taught.

And some parents will happily pay 50k a year for their child to get a useless degree.

Whether people like it or not, the creator economy is a real industry now. Learning storytelling, branding, marketing, and production skills can have value beyond just becoming an influencer.

Tell me this is a bad idea without telling me! So the parents are spending over a grand for multiple classes for their kids to take and theres a high probability their kids aren't going to make it as an influencer. They do have a very high chance at becoming an accountant or engineer or PE teacher.
