During the proceedings, his lawyer, Andy Appiah-Kubi, pointed out that most of the documents provided by the Attorney-General’s Department were unreadable. The court directed the prosecution to furnish clearer and more legible copies to the defense, and the case has been adjourned to 16th March 2026 for further proceedings.

In Surat, 100 houses were demolished. The people whose houses were demolished went to the Surat Municipal Corporation office with the demand to provide alternative arrangements, but the corporation was told that they did not demolish these houses. The High Court has also directed the head warden, against whom there are allegations of assault, to be present on the next date of hearing. Advocate Digant Mishra, counsel for a convict who is subjected to custodial assault, says, "On the 26th June, a very horrific incident happened in Tihar Jail number 3, where one of the head constables and the jail superintendent were involved, and they were asking for protection money of Rs 15,000 from the inmates and the convicted person, and one of them was my client as well. During the course of time, they were not able to give the protection money to the person. For that, particularly, they were brutally attacked with lathis, and the hand was broken. At the same time, when they asked for medical assistance, that was also not given to them... We waited for 15 days at Tihar Jail... but nothing was given. Today, the High Court justices Prathiba M. Singh and Vikas Mahajan have given a very strict direction that if the incident has occurred in so bad a manner, then we will be enquiring into each and everything, and everything will be coming in a sealed envelope. And it is very important to give them medical assistance. That is why today they have also given a direction that they will be present in the Deen Dayal Hospital with two other inmates who also suffered during this particular incident. Despite her having more than 1 million followers, the police submitted before the Court of Ld. Magistrate that it needed to verify whether the concerned handle belonged to her. Due to the failure of the Grievance Appellate Committee to decide the appeal on merits, we were constrained to approach the Hon’ble Delhi High Court.
