We in Karnataka are proud that state’s own tax revenue (SOTR) contributes 77% our revenue receipts. Perhaps the highest of any state in India. It’s a self-reliant state. We get so little from the central govt, as a share of our budget it’s probably the lowest in the whole country. Drone based resurvey of all lands is being piloted and tested in Uyyamballi Block of #Ramanagara Dist. Last survey was done around 1920 ! If pilot is successful, we want to take up resurvey of whole state. That will revolutionise survey records, clean out disputes and give us tamper-proof advanced digital land sketches. Hope to complete pilot in 2 months. #Revenue #govtofkarnataka

Celebrating this milestone, we are organising a mega e-Khata drive and the start of door-to-door #e-khata registration scheme at Sahakarnagar grounds on June 29.
