I think there’s enough evidence now to say that the preferred vehicle for most psychos who are low on budget is Thar. Take this Thar driver: driving on the wrong side, knocks down an elderly man on a scooty, then instead of feeling guilty, comes back and hits him again. Still not satisfied, he gets out, hurls abuses, and drives off like nothing happened. Wish we had a policy to confiscate and scrap the rowdy vehicle, and give the scrap money as compensation to the victim. This was a perfect case.

Police said a Corvette was traveling eastbound on Sherman Avenue at a high rate of speed around 6:30 a.m. when it slammed into the Mercedes near West 204th Street. The Corvette then struck a 34-year-old pedestrian on the sidewalk before crashing into a building. The Mercedes continued into a parked, unoccupied moped and damaged other parked vehicles. The Mercedes driver fled the scene and remains wanted. The Corvette’s 27-year-old driver identified as Eric Torres, a passenger, and the pedestrian were all taken to Harlem Hospital in stable condition. Torres was later arrested and charged with reckless driving, reckless endangerment, and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. Authorities are investigating whether the vehicles were involved in street racing or drag racing; witnesses reported the Corvette had been driving recklessly including doughnuts earlier that morning.

This is hilarious. Waymo has since released a statement, apparently blaming the incident on "inconsistent construction signage." The car "was blocked from navigating back into the correct lane" for about 30 seconds when the officer pulled it over.
