We did not need to double him at all, ayton was playing great defense on him. Just a stupid gameplan and it just allowed the rockets players to get on rhythm and shoot.

Why did they force him to make reads? They allowed other players to get shots in rhythm smh. Terrible game plan. Let ayton guard him and if he scores, he scores, but stay on others, and minimize energy from doing extra rotations.

This is where PJ got it. He would single up guys early in the game, like Rasheed Wallace and then late in the game switch to doubling. The players were caught off guard and didn't handle it well.
