AUDIO: Behind closed doors, John Rustad said he supports "user pay" two-tier healthcare just like in the US. This would pull staff out of the public system and make everyone else wait longer. John Rustad is a risk we can't afford.

Over 1 million British Columbians without a Family Doctor = Fact Rotating ER closures, Christmas travel will now include checking to see if the ER will be open, in NDP British Columbia = Fact

More NDP lies do not trust or listen to them folks they locked us down discriminated against us and will continue to do so #NeverVoteNDP

He is correct, actually. People literally fly to Alberta for private operations as a loophole to the Canada Health Act... Why can't we explore European approaches which blend public/private? In Canada, it seems we are ideologically married to a bad system getting worse for no other reason than to pretend we have better health care than the US.

That's not true. What he means is that we have a private system for those who can afford to pay more and who would like a shorter wait time, while keeping the public system the way it is. This takes the load out of the public system and allows for faster wait times.

So do I. But you are lying again. The two tier system is what Sweden and Norway use.

Newsflash you economically illiterate Marxists: you’ve taken the debt load from $40billion to over $120billion with a current record $9billion deficit. The public IS paying through higher taxes, slower growth and a debt burden for their kids to pay. liars & gaslighters.

Care to explain? 👇

If ndp took better care of our healthcare system it wouldn't be collapsing now. Rustad clearly understands it's critical to get the system functioning. No more healthcare closures. Also, let me know when it's possible to find a doctor.

I wonder what you and the hotel association were discussing behind closed doors? Stop making up stories behind doors . Your scared tactics are not scaring anyone, besides the scariest thing could be 4 more years of @bcndp
