Hi there, this area is actually affected by a few different outages. Crew are currently on their way and should be arriving on site at the first outage shortly. They'll tackle the second large outage in the area after that.

As Tropical Storm Lee continues to move slowly across the province, parts of Nova Scotia are experiencing wind gusts that can make conditions hazardous for our crews. When wind speeds are over 80km an hour, it isn’t safe for our crews to be up in the buckets and so we focus on assessing damage, responding to 911 calls, and restoring power from the ground where possible. In some parts of the province, we anticipate that these significant winds will continue for much of today. We do our best to give an estimate of when power will be restored. It is expected the remaining affected customers will be restored by early this morning. I have called an emergency meeting with JPS for noon today at the jps command center which will be followed by a press briefing. I have been closely monitoring the situation all night and will continue to do so until full restoration is completed. I commit to keeping the nation advised and updated on this UNACCEPTABLE SITUATION.
