DERIVING PROFIT FROM SCRIPTURE The accuracy of the Bible is not in the archeological flawlessness of its writings nor the personality of the authors, but in its ability to deliver God's intent as far as the revelation of God, Jesus, man, and salvation are concerned. The profiting of Scripture is only derived under the influence of The Spirit of Revelation, which guides your heart to the essence of every story, verse, and expression, captured within Scripture. As open as The Bible is, there are seals. You can only open the book, but only The Spirit of Revelation unlocks the seals, opening you up to mysteries. What profits you is not the verse of the Scripture, it is the light in the Scripture. The Islamic Dilemma explained: Christians cannot abandon the Old Testament because the Lord Jesus tied them to its authority. Muslims cannot abandon the scripture because Muhammad/Allah tied them to its authority. Now, if the scripture is true, Muhammad is a false prophet, therefore Islam is false. If the scripture is not true, Allah/Muhammad is a liar, therefore Islam is false.

Sacred Scripture, which has been entrusted to the Church and is guarded by her, reveals its meaning and manifests its strength in the life and faith of the Church, above all in the celebration of the Holy Eucharist. For this reason, the Church continually meditates upon and interprets Scripture because it is the means by which we come to know the incarnate living Word of God who is Jesus Christ. EMBRACING THE POWER OF GOD'S WORD The Bible is not meant to be worshipped, but to be understood beyond the fragile pages. The words written within it are powerful because the breath of God rests upon them. When you approach Scripture, you are not simply approaching a novel. In fact, the Bible is not a Christian novel. While Christian novels can be beneficial, books written by other men of God are also valuable because they are inspired as well. However, remember this: any inspiration for writing spiritual material that does not reference this foundational Scripture must be discarded. Any spiritual work, no matter the author or their experience, that does not refer to the teachings and inspiration from this Scripture is heretical. We mark our territory with our words. When you speak God’s promises, you are establishing ownership. It’s good to believe the promises. It’s important to get them down in your spirit, meditate on them, but the Scripture says, “The Spirit of faith is in our words.” Words give life to what you’re believing. Be inspired by this message from Joel, "Pronounce Before You Possess".

Your 66 book canon is a 19th century invention, it was not apostolic at all. So when you say to appeal to “Scripture alone” i say which Scripture? and who had the authority to determine it? I’ll tell you who, The British & Foreign Bible Society in 1830, for money saving purposes. Sad. Sola Scriptura is not taught in Scripture. No verse states “Scripture alone” or “all souls are subject to the scriptures alone” no verbiage like this exists in the Bible. Protestants cannot produce a single biblical passage that clearly teaches Sola Scriptura alone excluding oral tradition. In fact the Bible repeatedly teaches to hold fast to oral apostolic tradition.
