@BasedBavinck No, I didn't. God can choose PRIOR TO THE STORM'S COMING the destiny of those who choose to be in the shelter and those who don't. He doesn't have to make that choice for them in order to determine their destiny before they make the choice...or before they exist for that matter.

The only way that Calvinism makes sense is if we really understand just how sinful we are. Most churched people will agree they are sinners, but wildly underestimate just how much that sin separates us from God. We are DEAD in sin and can’t move toward God without Him calling us

So, it is impossible for a believer to freely turn from Christ and end up in Hell right?

So God in your scheme is the almighty responder? That “predestination” is God reacting to and being controlled by creatures that He hasn’t created yet and that creature being the one destining/determining and not God? That’s plainly false and manifestly not the God of the Bible

you are spot on, those who are "in Him" are predestined. That was how Karl Barth looked at predestination. ps. I am no longer a 5 pt Calvinist
