Shia LaBeouf reveals what Brad Pitt actually did for him on the set of Fury, something he didn't understand until years later. At the time, he thought Pitt was just checking in. In hindsight, Pitt was quietly giving up his own moment to set Shia up. "I remember Brad turning to me one time in a scene, and he goes, 'Man, what do I do?' And my dumb ass got lost, I was intoxicated. Brad Pitt just asked me what to do, and I didn't even hear what the question was." "I didn't see the genius of his humility. He was actually bigging me up and using his own take to do it. He knew I was next, he knew they were going to turn the camera around on me, and he threw his last take away just so he could big me up."

Philip Seymour Hoffman on the moment he realized he had to get sober. In an interview, Hoffman was asked about entering rehab at a young age. The interviewer mentioned he was 25, but Hoffman quickly corrected him. "I got sober. I was 22 years old." When asked whether it was drugs or alcohol, he didn't hesitate: "Yes. All that stuff. Anything I get my hands on. I liked it all." Then came the obvious question: Why did he stop? His answer centered on one feeling: "You get panicked. You get panicked. I was 22 and I got panicked for my life." He didn't describe it as a dramatic turning point. Instead, he explained that he feared he was losing the future he wanted. "Whatever I was doing made me worry if I was going to be able to do the things I wanted to do with my life. And I was putting myself in situations and predicaments that were dangerous." Years later, he still remembered the clarity of that realization. "I do remember thinking there's things I want to do, you know, there's things I want to do and I'm not going to do them. If I keep doing this, it's not going to happen." Source: 60 Minutes interview with Steve Kroft (2012)

Jorja Smith turned down 'Get It Together' when Drake sent it to her at first but things happened in her life and she related to the song after listening to it again. "I'm listening to it I don't get it, what is she singing about? I didn't relate to it. Then things happened in my life and then I remember listening again and I thought someone else was on the song and I was like "Oh Drake, is there still space for me on the song?" There was, cause I was like , "Oh, I actually get what she's singing about now.""

Kimi: “today it had to go this way unfortunately. I couldn't even get one point, when things looked like I was still going to be able to get one point, safety car came out, and I got the penalty, I mean it's okay if you get track limit by going off and gaining but I couldn't keep the car on track in that instance. So I was trying my best to stay on track, but I just couldn't. But then after the last pit stop, the car felt kind of drivable, I would say. I was still missing probably, I don't know how many points of downforce. The car wasn't turning in the right corners, not at all. But yeah, I still think that I could get P10 today, at least one point but couldn't even get that.”

Parnas: Well, I was told I had to get real, authentic Mexican food when I was out in L.A., so I made it a point to do that. And I went and got nacho fries, which is real and authentic. And then, number two, I mean, boots-on-the-ground journalism. I think there are a lot of people on the internet who think that I’m just an aggregator and a mouthpiece. But I wanted to show that I actually go on the ground and test things out myself and let people know really what is happening in this world. So I took a trip to Taco Bell.

Philip Seymour Hoffman on getting sober at 22: In this interview, Hoffman is asked about his decision to stop drinking and using drugs. The interviewer notes he went into rehab early, at 25. Hoffman corrects him. "I got sober. I was 22 years old." When asked whether it was drugs or alcohol, he doesn't hedge: "Yes. All that stuff. Anything I get my hands on. I liked it all." Then the interviewer asks the real question: Why did he decide to stop? His answer comes down to a single word, repeated: "You get panicked. You get panicked. I was 22 and I got panicked for my life." He's careful not to dramatise it. But he explains what that panic was really about. It wasn't abstract. It was the fear that the life he wanted was slipping out of reach: "Whatever I was doing made me worry if I was going to be able to do the things I wanted to do with my life. And I was putting myself in situations and predicaments that were dangerous." What stayed with him, even years later, was the clarity of that moment at 22: "I do remember thinking there's things I want to do, you know, there's things I want to do and I'm not going to do them. If I keep doing this, it's not going to happen."

Jake Paul reveals the reason why he bought a $40,000,000 ranch in the state of Georgia “There were a couple of things that I needed to be able to do on this dream investment property. One was being on a lake so I can wakesurf and do jet skis. I wanted to build an airstrip so I can land a full size jet. I also wanted to build a racetrack” “A lot of properties don’t have enough flat land, so this was ideal. And I didn’t want the weather to ever get cold, so I could enjoy good weather all year around”

Asked Jayson Tatum if it was ever tempting to wait until next season, knowing that he could shake off the rust behind closed doors rather than in public. Thought his answer was super thoughtful: "It was a range of emotions, of things I was dealing with and contemplating and thinking about. Obviously, physically getting cleared by everybody. And, lot of it had to do with where the team was at, and never wanting to take moments in a season for granted, just thinking like, ‘Oh, we’ll be good next year.’ It's like, I've been in the league a long time, I've been fortunate to be on a lot of really good teams. And you never want to take for granted opportunity to be on the team that's contending for a championship. I had never had basketball taken away from me, so I always — I never took the game for granted, but as you can imagine, how much I missed playing basketball. The little kid inside me, that that's all I wanted to do my entire life. So, when I was cleared and got the opportunity, it was a lot of people I talked to to make the decision, knowing that I wasn't going to be perfect when I first came on the floor, but showing my teammates that I was willing to fight through it, and give it my all. And even though I wouldn't be as in-rhythm or in condition at first, I knew it was going to take some time, but I wanted to be out there with him, I was gonna do whatever it took.”

Karolina Muchova after losing to Linda Noskova in the Wimbledon final: "She was obviously on top for the first set and a half. But you must be proud of how you were able to turn it around and fight back and take it to a third." Karolina: "I think I started really slow today. On the other hand, Linda started really strong. Really good serving games, and she played really fast. I was kind of looking for myself. It took a lot of power and strength out of me to get back into that 2nd set. I gave it my all to get back... the people were cheering on me, I felt it, I felt the support. I felt the momentum in the 2nd set and I turned it around. It was definitely nice that it happened. It was tough. As I said, it took some strength out of me and unfortunately the start of the 3rd kind of slipped through my fingers."

Karina openly apologized and clarified about her jacket and insta post 💙: But recently there was a bit of an issue and bcs of that I started wishing not just for myself but for everyone around me to live peacefully without any trouble. I honestly had no such intention at all so I really wanted to talk about it. And I felt really sorry about that. I just wanted to say that I’m truly sorry for causing concern to our fans and so many others people. I really want to say sorry. I remember going out with the staff on a chilly day, buying an outer layer, posting on social media to communicate with fans and then getting contacted and having to delete it. All of that made me realize how ignorant I was. Even if I was abroad, it was still something I should have known and been aware of. So it really made me feel like I need to be more aware and study these things more deeply. I think it’s true that I was just very ignorant. And in any case, since I’m the one who put the story out there, it’s something I have to take responsibility for. But it was really hard seeing the other members get affected too

Got clear off of [turn] 4, and I left like half a lane to the wall when I did get clear, cuz I wanted to shade to try to stay on the bottom. And he just had a run and crossed over. Looking back on it, I’d say it was 50/50. I was running the bottom, he was wanting to get to the bottom and was there late by a little bit. Neither of us wanted to give. I wanted the bottom, he wanted there, and I ended up getting turned…” “Really I put it on both parties, I don’t think he was 100% to blame, I’m not 100% to blame, it was just two guys fighting for the bottom at Bristol.” #NASCAR
