Dexterous hands are one of the biggest challenges in robotics, with even Elon Musk noting their development accounts for half of a humanoid robot's total work. A new approach from the Y-Hand M1 bionic hand may be a significant step forward. Based on an international first-of-its-kind "bionic tension-compression theory," the M1 replaces traditional rigid hinges with a 6-DoF joint system and uses self-developed magnetic artificial muscles. Depending on the task or the object being grasped, it can autonomously switch between left-hand and right-hand configurations, bend in reverse, and achieve degrees of freedom beyond a human hand,maximizing the efficiency of a single hand. it comes from a company in Jiangsu called ChangingTek Robotics. You could say the hand is a bit like an octopus,but it isn’t soft. It’s rigid and capable of gripping tools like wrenches, screwdrivers, drinks, and basically almost any object.

China is making another world-class wonder! It’s building a new high-speed railway into Xizang!!! The Sichuan-Xizang Railway is the most challenging railway project in human history. You can’t imagine how difficult to build a railway in such a harsh natural condition: The starting point of the line is only 300m above sea level, while terminal Lhasa is over 3,000m above sea level. The Nyingchi segment alone requires 47 tunnels and 121 bridges. One of the most challenging segments was the Milin tunnel with 10km length. The railway is tunneled through areas with high-temperature earth-crust. Factors like large temperature differences between day and night and severe weather are all challenges that China has to solve. And we made it!
