One feature I really need from Copilot in VS Code is support for a floating chat window. This would let me keep my workspace wide open for coding without sacrificing screen space.

You can open chat in the editor, and then drag the tab out and drop it. This will give you a floating window. Does that work?

Works really well for simple refactoring without the need to reinvent things, like extracting smaller subcomponents to simplify a component that has grown to big. One shot, done.

Even if the audio is really bad with a lot of noise, you still get around 95-96% accuracy. The code for this is available on GitHub. If you're interested, you can download and run it. You just need a Google API key.
