Hand Menu Interaction. The simplest trick to improve the accessibility of floating hand-attached UI panels for spatial interactions is to smooth their movement. It allows us to stabilize them and mitigate a hand tremor due to hand-tracking imperfection and/or physiological condition. (Interestingly, the visual stabilization helps reduce the physical tremor itself. I guess it normalizes the hand muscles/brain feedback loop when you target the interactables). Finally, we have published Horizon OS UI Set for ISDK-Unity and Figma with the Interaction SDK v69 release on 10/9! This is our first public release of official UI components and design resources based on the Quest Design System. I found this amazing resource called Wise Design System, it’s one of the cleanest UI components collection out there and well documented from action buttons to pulldown menus. Each component comes with anatomy, states & behavior, plus design do’s and don’ts to guide you. Bookmark it for later 💜

We just released the Databricks synthetic evaluation SDK! 🎉 We’ve found that synthesizing evals is a great way to hill climb your AI system before you’re able to get labels from domain experts. With this SDK, and our fancy diffing UI, users are able to improve the inner loop of improving their agent pretty effectively. Check out the blog post linked 🚀
