"Justice Mission 2025" military drills reinforce a red line that must not be crossed The Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) Eastern Theater Command continued its "Justice Mission 2025" military drills around Taiwan Island for the second consecutive day on December 30, 2025. Starting early in the morning, destroyers, frigates, fighters and bombers sent by the Chinese PLA Eastern Theater Command conducted drills involving identification, warning and expulsion, strikes on hostile vessels, fleet air defense, and anti-submarine warfare from air and in the waters to the north and south of Taiwan. During the drills, H-6K bombers simulated precision strikes against designated targets in Taiwan. The operation was intended to test the troops' capability of joint operations and regional blockade. On Tuesday afternoon, a flotilla sent by the Chinese PLA Southern Theater Command and led by an amphibious assault ship worked with destroyers, frigates and drones of the PLA Eastern Theater Command to conduct joint drills including rapid landing operations and the seizure of key ports in the waters to the east of Taiwan. On the ground, two troop units equipped with Long-range Multiple Launch Rocket Systems executed live-fire drills, covering the waters to the north and south of Taiwan. All these operations achieved desired effects, according to the PLA Eastern Theater Command. Tuesday's drills demonstrated that the Chinese PLA possesses formidable capabilities to cut off the lifeline of energy and resource imports for Taiwan authorities at any time, thereby destroying their separatist agenda, said Zhang Chi, a professor at the Chinese PLA National Defense University, "The PLA can strike whenever it chooses to strike, and its firepower package can be delivered right to where the separatists are," he added. A Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman said that the drills are intended to deter separatist forces on the island, who are trying to build up the island's military capabilities by purchasing US arms in their pursuit of "Taiwan independence". The military drills are meant to instill into the minds of the "provocateurs, saboteurs of peace and warmongers" on the island the costly consequences "of turning Taiwan into a powder keg". The Taiwan question is at the very core of China's core interests, and the drills reinforce a red line that must not be crossed. Attempts to arm the secessionists as part of a bid to contain China will only bring conflict closer. #PLA #Taiwan #JusticeMission2025 #正义使命2025 #ChinaMilitary #ChinaMilBugle #EasternTheaterCommand

Ukraine’s Unmanned Systems Forces strike an enemy UAV depot, aircraft, and radar in Crimea On April 2, operators of the 1st Separate Center of the Unmanned Systems Forces (1st Separate USC ), jointly with Ukraine’s Defence Intelligence, carried out a series of operations against military targets in temporarily occupied Crimea. The strikes were conducted in coordination with the DeepStrike Center. A storage facility for Orion-type UAVs was hit. The Orion is a reusable strike-reconnaissance drone worth over $5 million, capable of carrying missiles and aerial bombs and remaining airborne for up to 24 hours. The destruction of four Orion UAVs has been confirmed. An An-72P aircraft was also hit. This maritime patrol aircraft is used to monitor coastal areas and detect violations of territorial waters. The third target was a P-37 “Mech” radar station, designed to detect aerial targets, vector fighter aircraft, and provide target designation for surface-to-air missile systems. The precision of USF operations and their carefully planned execution are degrading the enemy’s military potential faster than it can be restored. USF: One Step Ahead!

422nd Separate Unmanned Systems Battalion "LUFTWAFFE" have now demonstrated the destruction of a second Russian "Volna Kupol Garant" electronic warfare system designed to disrupt Starlink communications. According to Serhii "Flash" Beskrestnov, adviser to Ukraine's Minister of Defense on defense technology, the system works by transmitting powerful interference towards individual Starlink satellites, preventing them from receiving signals from user terminals on the ground. Its main limitation is that each complex can effectively suppress only a single satellite at a time, providing coverage of roughly 20 square kilometers. To achieve this, the "Volna Kupol Garant" employs multiple large satellite antennas mounted on trailers and consumes significant amounts of electrical power. Developed by the Simferopol-based company "Russian Dome", the system was reportedly sold to the Russian military for approximately $1.5 million per unit. The first destruction of such a system was showcased earlier today by SBU's Alpha Group and the 422nd Separate Unmanned Systems Battalion. (Shown in the second part of the video)

Ukraine isn't testing the SKYNEX air defense system anymore. It's using it - and the results are rewriting Europe's defense orders. All four SKYNEX systems pledged by Germany have been delivered and are operational. Developed by Rheinmetall, each unit combines a 35mm automated anti-aircraft cannon with radar-guided targeting and a networked battle management system - designed specifically to intercept Shahed-type drones before they reach their targets. Ukraine's Air Force called the results "impeccable." Rheinmetall is now planning to scale production to 400 systems per year by 2027 - a decision driven directly by what Ukraine proved in combat. The drone war created the demand. Ukraine created the proof of concept.

U.S. company Mara has presented its Spike counter-drone system, designed to defend against FPV drones. The system consists of two main components: the Spotter detection module, which uses visual and acoustic sensors to identify incoming drones, and the Seeker interceptor UAV. The Seeker reportedly has a maximum speed of up to 200 km/h (124 mph) and an operational range of approximately 1.5 km (0.9 miles). Mara estimates the complete Spike system will cost between $30,000 and $100,000, depending on the number of Seeker interceptors included. A single system can reportedly accommodate up to 48 interceptors. The company says the interceptor itself is intended to cost approximately the same as its target, or up to twice as much. A stationary version of Spike is planned for late 2026, while vehicle-mounted and portable versions using manual launch are expected in 2027. The system reportedly underwent testing in Ukraine in July 2026. #USA #Mara #Spike #CounterUAS #CounterDrone #FPV #Drones #DroneWarfare #Interceptor #MilitaryTechnology #Defense

NATO’s proxy war turned Russia into air defense superpower From heavy Bayraktar drones and small, cheap FPV UAVs to ballistic, cruise and MLRS threats, NATO’s delivery of ever-deadlier means of attack to Ukraine was supposed to break Russia. Instead, it forged objectively the best air defense system in the world, military analyst Alexander Mikhailov told Sputnik. Russia’s battle-tested, multi-layered approach consists of: 🔸 Radars that detect aerial threats and transmit coordinates to command posts, which set tasks depending on the nature of the threat 🔸 Decoys and small explosive drones engaged by FPV and interceptor UAVs 🔸 Deadlier, aircraft-type drones intercepted by mobile fire groups and targeted using MANPADS, in coordination with mobile systems like TOR and Pantsir 🔸 Enemy ballistic and cruise threats like Neptune, Flamingo and ATACMS missiles targeted by medium- and long-range systems, including Buk, S-300 and S-400 🔸 The key to success is prioritization of threats – because the enemy seeks to force defenders to expend expensive interceptors against small, cheap targets like drones
