Christians will often stop buying from stores that sell pride items or support LGBTQ+ events. I agree with the boycotts when it serves a purpose. But these same believers often stay silent or support events where TPUSA hosts openly gay public figures.

Egypt and Iran are calling on Fifa to stop LGBTQ+ celebrations at their World Cup 2026 match. Egypt’s Football Association told the footballing body that such events would clash with their cultural and religious values - where ‘morality laws’ are often used to persecute same-sex couples. The fixture in June next year has been designated by local organisers as a ‘Pride Match’ to coincide with Seattle’s Pride weekend. I have two kids. When I saw the direction this country was headed, I had a choice: stay comfortable in a career I love, or speak up. Matt Calkins made that same choice. He resigned from the Seattle Times rather than be muzzled. Speaking up costs you. But is it worth it? You bet it is. Minnesota, you're worth fighting for. I won't stay silent now. I won't stay silent in Washington.

For 3 years we've had to stay silent in fear that our retaliation would make him deprive her the money of work. But it had only gotten worst. Our silence made it worst. He took it for weakness. We have absolutely nothing to lose but rather, the organization. I take the cash & build these. That way I don’t have to go through process of construction loans & bank inspections on progress. I either keep them as rentals or sell them. With zero debt on my new builds it gives me a massive influx of cash when they sell (or massive monthly income if I keep them as vacation rentals). They take me about 6-8 months to build one and often I’ll have multiple going at the same time.

I hereby declare that I will not attend any Skoda events, locally or otherwise, in the future. However, I will continue helping the Skoda community by raising their concerns on the Volklub website and here as well. These are signs of growth, and when you speak your mind and recommend multiple brands of different merit, it often comes at a cost. I am sure that something will eventually irk Volkswagen, Tata, Honda, MG or Nissan as well. This journey is no longer about VW, Skoda, or any specific brand. I don’t have time for events anyway and always request that cars be provided locally for coverage. Budget squat rack companies will often dupe customers into cheap racks that REQUIRE you to use their attachments. When buying a rack, only buy 2"x2" or 3"x3" preferably with 1" holes. There are a ton on the market, and they can get out of the 'budget' range when you start adding weight stack functional trainers and smith machines. But, I highly recommend only buying a rack with standard geometry so you can upgrade it later and add attachments for training variety from other companies.
