Clipse says that Pharrell forced them to be more structured with their verses instead of freestyling, which helped ‘LGSEO’ go from good to great: “This whole album was based on ‘stay in the pattern and inject all of the steroids into the pattern’ and he was right” We Sound Crazy

"It is tough again, given what Bernie has meant to the movement, but this pattern of him potentially prioritizing personal relationships -- whether it was his unwillingness to be as strident and condemnatory of Joe Biden in the context of the 2020 election, repeating that he was a good guy and he would be a good president, that while he wanted to win, Biden would do fine too -- and now, being to the right of your average sort of, I've Got to Have it wine mom podcaster in wanting Chuck Schumer to stay in this role. I mean, I think I also saw a clip from Charlemagne the God saying that Schumer has to go."

#WATCH | On PM Modi's meeting with members of various MPs delegations, Congress MP Shashi Tharoor says,"...He was certainly very pleasant to all of us. He saw this as an opportunity to thank the delegations for their service, and he was very pleasant and spent more than an hour with all of us. He walked around the lawn to different tables, talking to different groups of people. We all chatted with him in an informal way. It wasn't a formal meeting at all. It was a good, lively, informal meeting. Even those of us who had given him our reports on the trip did not present those reports. We all shared many things with him, and with time, it will be apparent. A general proposition I noticed was that every country said it was a very good idea for Members of Parliament to visit them. We all suggested that we should make this a practice more often. The PM certainly seem to take that idea onboard."

Instead of easing the crowd into the show, Oasis opened their legendary G-Mex performance with the enormous title track from their newest album. “Be Here Now” was built around pounding piano, layers of guitars and a relentless chorus that reflected the deliberately excessive sound of the 1997 album Be Here Now. The track was never released as a UK single, despite giving the record its title. On 14 December 1997, Oasis used it to launch their Manchester G-Mex set before immediately tearing into “Stay Young”. The homecoming show was broadcast on MTV and remains one of the most celebrated performances of the Be Here Now era.

Watch as a very odd and amplified pattern Omega Block pattern torments forecasters and everyone in its way for the next two weeks! Winter 🥶 in summer in the Northeast! Tropical moisture poised for #Florida but instead shoved into the western Gulf! All kinds of shifts that make a forecaster pull one’s hair out, all due to a very high amplitude blocky pattern over Central Canada. The result is Warm Central Canada, Cold air pours into Eastern Canada and the Eastern US Seaboard, and Tropical moisture in Gulf forced into Texas instead of Florida.

How does Ground Up keep pulling all these artists into this? Did they use some manipulation on them? They did the same thing to Twitch and he got nothing from them — that clearly shows the pattern. Same story with Kofi Mole and Kwesi Arthur too. I was expecting Kwesi Arthur to speak up after the Twitch interview, but the guy has been patient and clearly felt this was the right time. #FreeKwesiArthur #RedemptionValleyTape

🚨🇺🇸SEC OF TRANSPORTATION: BOTH FLIGHTS WERE IN A STANDARD FLIGHT PATTERN Secretary of Transportation, Sean Duffy: “The helicopter was in a standard pattern. The American Airlines flight coming in to land was in a standard flight pattern as it was approaching DCA. This was not unusual, with a military aircraft flying the river and aircraft landing at DCA. The fuselage of the American Airlines plane was inverted. The NTSB is going to start analyzing that aircraft, partnering with the FAA and using all the information we have to get the best results possible for the American people.” Source: Mayor Muriel Bowser

People of Nabi Ball!❤️✌🏾 There is progress in this team👏🏾 The patterns need time to develop and for the team to be consistent in them. ■ The left side looked better with Mmodi and Shinga✅️ ■ We needed Duba to attack the box and be available more when these 2 attacked on the left. He dropped to the edge of the box very often. ■ Unlike in the 1st half, there was a better understanding between Shinga and the LW. When Shinga overlapped, Mmodi was willing to occupy the pockets and combine. ▪︎ When Shinga inverted, Mmodi was happy to hug the line and take his man on. This understanding was key in that side coming to life in the 2nd half. ■ What was also impressive was the ability for them to create good combinations and movements with Mdu and Duba on the offense from the left side. ■ Lilepo from the right was getting into good goal scoring positions when the left was creating in the 2nd half, but poor decisions on the ball and slow reactions were a problem. He should compete on the LW with Mmodi. ■ In the 1st half, it was Monyane and Vilakazi on the right, and 2nd half it was Mmodi and Shinga with some of our best moments in attack. Overall, you can see the general attitude of this team changing. They want to play now. They want to stay on the ball and create chances from a position of control, not rely heavily on transitional moments to create chances. We have shown signs that we can control and be patient, but when opportunities to attack comes we are relentless, and we use a lot of speed to enter the final 3rd. We just need to work on the combinations and finishing in the final 3rd. Like I said before, we are a work in progress, and we will get better only if we build on the positives and remove the negatives. Protagonist Tiki-taka is coming!❤️✌🏾

Pusha T says Clipse are already back in the studio after wrapping their tour, and there’s a LOT in motion. 👀 “We working on everything. Everything right now. It’s sounding crazy.” Push revealed that one project is already finished while they’re currently working on another, with Pharrell involved again. And when a possible Malice solo album was brought up? “You might get one of those though, for sure.” Looks like the Clipse camp isn’t slowing down anytime soon. 🔥

Gang Starr - “Mass Appeal” “Mass Appeal” was a turning point for DJ Premier. I remember the first time I heard “Mass Appeal.” It was on Gang Starr’s 1994 album, ‘Hard to Earn.’ I played this song over and over. Serious repeat! What caught my attention the most was how Premier chopped the sample, and then arranged it in a way that the ends exploded every time the loop turned over. What’s more, at the point where the loop turns, there isn’t a dominate kick, which was typical of most hip hop/rap songs of that period. The absence of the kick on the loop turning point convinced me that Premier was in the midst of a sound change. Having heard his beatwork on ‘Illmatic’ just a couple of months before, I was wondering if his beats would be in the same vein or take a different direction. Two songs into ‘Hard to Earn,’ I knew Premier was going for a new sound. And what tipped me off was his experimentation with his drums. I was paying extra close attention to Premier’s use of the kick drum. Specifically, I was studying the ways in which he was starting to “relax” the punch of his kicks while still coming up with non-conventional drum frameworks. On “Mass Appeal,” it was if Premier had challenged himself to devise a moderately syncopated kick pattern underneath a deceptively simple sample arrangement. If you listen to “Mass Appeal,” pay careful attention to how the end of the sample seems to speed up. Truth is, it doesn’t. By chopping the end of the sample the way he did, and by easing up on the attack (the front-end) of the sample, an otherwise simple 1-bar measure is transformed into something akin to break in a record being “pushed” forward by the DJ. And what makes this all more complex than most people realize is the fact that the tempo — which stays the same throughout — is managed thoroughly by the kick pattern and shuffling hat pattern.

#WATCH | Delhi | Congress MP Shashi Tharoor says, "It was a very good briefing with the Foreign Secretary on all the issues to deal with the Iran war that were not covered in the earlier briefing when he was himself not present... 17 members attended, and all of them had very serious questions for the Foreign Secretary... Everything was discussed, our relationship with every single significant country in the region and beyond, larger questions of strategy, energy security, geopolitics, and Pakistan's role... There is a certain appreciation of this ongoing dialogue between the Foreign Ministry and the Committee. The Committee has felt very much that we are taken into confidence in the right sort of way, and in turn, want to be constructive in our criticisms, questions and challenges to the government for ourselves as parliamentarians, to represent the voice of the people of India. It has been a good exercise, but we all agree that this is not something we need to talk about publicly."

🚨 Secretary of State Rubio on Cuba “Colonizing” Venezuela’s Security State Rubio lays out Cuba’s role inside the Maduro regime. He says “all the guards that helped protect Maduro” and “their whole spy agency” were “full of Cubans.” “It’s amazing,” he adds, that “this poor island” “took over Venezuela in some cases.” “One of the biggest problems that Venezuelans have is they have to declare independence from Cuba.” He says Cuba tried to “basically colonize it from a security standpoint.” And he closes with the warning, “If I lived in Havana and I was in the government, I’d be concerned.”

Scottie Barnes was scrolling through Instagram he saw a video about a private school in Brampton that serves students, including those with autism. The school was still recovering from the pandemic and needed $80K or they would be forced to close down by the end of the month. After watching the video, he was immediately moved and got in contact with the school, and donated enough funds to help them stay open, and said it was “the right thing to do.”

One thing that people have spoken of everywhere we went is the toll this war is beginning to take on the people of Ukraine in PTSD and other mental health conditions. We’re only just beginning to grasp the likely scale of it – and how long-lasting the effects may be. While it was wonderful to see people in Britain rallying with support and hospitality for Ukrainians in the first phase of this war, we must now recognise that we need to be in this for the long haul, that’s one of the messages I will take away with me. The whole pattern of life and support is changing from immediate crisis to long-term help. This is not likely to stop soon. Read more:
