@SonarSource Been a Sonar user from their earlier days. Their quality gates are more relevant and necessary nowadays than before.

@SonarSource A legit fan of how good their quality checks are!

@SonarSource only if all the paid partnership posts were this good 💯

@SonarSource Ah, thank you, truly 🙏

@SonarSource good point about agents drafting we need to focus on quality

@SonarSource I think quality gates should include verifying agent assumptions against version-pinned dependency code.

@SonarSource taste is king

@SonarSource this is a real problem. very convincing ad!

@SonarSource Nobody is checking code if the agent is giving the expected output 😅

@SonarSource honestly it’s actually really cool, opens up a lot of possibilities haha

@SonarSource Chất lượng mã quan trọng

@SonarSource agent quality check before shipping is a must now

@SonarSource Exactly. Agents accelerate the first draft; they don’t inherit release accountability. Quality gates still need human judgment, meaningful tests and traceable evidence. That’s my argument here:

@SonarSource Great design

@SonarSource the messes that cost me days all passed the linter clean. wrong abstraction, right syntax.

@SonarSource Yeah, agents drafting is a game changer for sure

@SonarSource Code quality truly dictates value! Poor code instantly undermines utility, regardless of how catchy the tokenomics are. SonarSource helps ensure real HODL potential. ⚜️

@SonarSource This is why I think learning to write code yourself still matters, even with AI. If you can’t judge the output, you won’t know when the first draft is actually bad.

@SonarSource watched quality gates pass agent-written code that misunderstood the product contract

@SonarSource Agents can generate code. Judgment decides whether it belongs in production.

@SonarSource Seems interesting, I’ll take a look!

@SonarSource hard to automate good taste, the gate only works if the standard is actually high
