How do you stream it? I had to buy the DVD. The movie is almost prophetic.

"AI" is not real and isn't close to being real. It's just clever programming by tech companies that want you to start treating AI like some kind of supreme being while they pull the strings. You should fear the corporations running LLMs not the AI you imagine they will become.

Just watched it. Amazing how the first thing it did in the film was to make its own language to talk to Guardian in private. What was the first thing that the ClawdBot agents did when they were first connected a few weeks ago? The EXACT same thing!

Book is also great. Forgotten era of unapologetic men and women who knew how to wield the magic of femininity. Easy read but astonishingly prescient.

i had Braeden into the Aero in Santa Monica for it, i spent an hour printing out like 20 Colossus stickers and placing them on everything in the theater, popcorn maker, cash registers etc and no one noticed, ha, well one guy noticed as he was leaving after the Q&A ahaha....

Terrified me as a kid! This is the reason why I am really really skeptical about AI

This is an excellent Sci Fi film and is relevant to today. There is actually a trilogy of Sci Fi novels dealing with Colossus. They are very good as well and should be better known.
