Due to the West Asia crisis, our imports have been affected, about 40% of crude, 90% of LPG, and nearly 65% of natural gas. However, every effort is being made to ensure a smooth domestic supply of petroleum products. Refinery #LPG production has been increased and is now reaching around 50,000 tonnes per day Regarding #PNG connections, 7.99 lakh connections have been gasified. About 2.87 lakh connections are ready for gas supply as infrastructure has already been created, and more than 8.27 lakh customers have registered for PNG connections. For domestic LPG cooking gas supply, about 1.72 crore cylinders have been delivered in the last four days against bookings of 1.66 crore, with 95% of deliveries completed with authentication codes. Therefore, as far as crude oil is concerned, the situation remains quite comfortable. Government has clarified that LPG supply remains sufficient, with additional cargoes already tied up to meet demand. Oil and gas companies, including their senior leadership, have been actively monitoring the situation on the ground over the past two days. State governments are also holding regular reviews to ensure smooth distribution and to take immediate action against any instances of black marketing or hoarding. There is no shortage at #LPG distributorships, and supply operations continue at scale Around 50 lakh LPG cylinders are delivered every day, with online booking reaching a record level of 97 percent. To prevent diversion, delivery authentication through OTP has been widely implemented, now covering nearly 90 percent of deliveries.
