However, every effort is being made to ensure a smooth domestic supply of petroleum products. Therefore, as far as crude oil is concerned, the situation remains quite comfortable. Domestic LPG supply remains normal with 98% online bookings, while commercial LPG is 70% restored, with around 1,06,000 tonnes sold since 14 March and 6,000 to 6,500 tonnes sold daily. Support measures include doubling 5 kg cylinder supply without ID, with around 1 lakh sold daily and 11 lakh since 23 March, alongside over 2,400 awareness camps. The average domestic #LPG delivery cycle remains around two and a half days 🔹Delivery Authentication Code (DAC) system has been implemented to prevent the diversion. Government has clarified that LPG supply remains sufficient, with additional cargoes already tied up to meet demand. Oil and gas companies, including their senior leadership, have been actively monitoring the situation on the ground over the past two days. State governments are also holding regular reviews to ensure smooth distribution and to take immediate action against any instances of black marketing or hoarding. There is no shortage at #LPG distributorships, and supply operations continue at scale Around 50 lakh LPG cylinders are delivered every day, with online booking reaching a record level of 97 percent. To prevent diversion, delivery authentication through OTP has been widely implemented, now covering nearly 90 percent of deliveries. Distributors are operating even on holidays and Sundays to ensure uninterrupted and convenient supply for all consumers -Sujata Sharma, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas #MoPNG #EnergySecurity
